A new Dutch clothing company called Spacelife is launching with a big bang. Its first product is a limited edition jacket inspired by the classic spacesuit. Sadly, as far as my budget is concerned getting it will launch me to a planet called Bankruptcy. And it doesn’t even have a gold visor.
True to its theme (and price), the Spacelife jacket is packed with cutting edge features. It’s made of a lightweight, water-repellent and reflective fabric called 210D trilobal nylon oxford. It’s hood is coated with thousands of tiny glass beads that refract light. It also has a Bluetooth speaker and microphone, with playback controls on its sleeve. It also has large patches of an imaginary mission to Mars and a valve-like attachment in front.

I am happy to say that Frozen fever has finally left my house. Yesterday I showed you all the Star Lord hoodie prototype that ThinkGeek had unveiled, and it was awesome. Today we have another hoodie from the Guardians of the Galaxy, and this time it is a pullover Rocket Raccoon hoodie.
This hoodie proves there ain’t nothing like Rocket Raccoon except him – and this hoodie. ThinkGeek figures the hoodie will be in stock on November 20. It could change a bit from the photos you see here since the pics are of a prototype. Since I’m not a fan of pullovers, I sort of hope it will become a zipper hoodie, but I’m not holding my breath.
ThinkGeek will sell the hoodie for $79.99(USD) and it is officially licensed gear from the film. I wonder if we will get a Drax, Groot or Gamora hoodie in the future.
