This is a Pirate Chest Cooler by Redditor ShutUpLori who made it for his boss. It’s a regular beer cooler modded with wood, some hardware, a water spigot, and other pirate-y type adornments. Shiver me timbers, I never wanted something so bad in me life! This is the perfect place to store my rum. Or booty. Teehehehe! But for real, I could keep my treasure in there and call it… freezing my assets. Only issue with that is, I don’t have any money! So… donate to the cause? C’mon, it’ll be hilarious!

Facebook Photo Sync boots smartphone snaps to a private album as you shoot
Can't be bothered with adding photos to your Facebook albums à la carte? Well, Photo Sync has your name all over it. Rolling out today for Android and iOS, the new service automatically sends images from your smartphone (or Galaxy Camera, perhaps?) to a private album in the cloud. Once you're ready to flip your frames public, simply tick a box on each image to post it. And, because everything's easier to understand with a fancy promo video, you can learn all about Photo Sync in the dialog-free Facebook montage at the source link below.

New 21.5-inch iMac gets an early teardown in Japan
We're currently putting Apple's latest "skinny" iMac through its paces here in New York, but an eager Japanese customer has already popped open the 21.5-inch desktop's case, revealing a serviceable hard drive, removable logic board and even a bit of room to spare in the tapered silver housing. There's not much in the way of details over at Kodawarisan, a scant Japanese-language site, but there are plenty of interior pics to gawk at, tiding us over until the experts at iFixit manage to dissect an iMac of their own. Head on over to the source link below for a dozen or so undressed snaps of Cupertino's latest creation.

Raspberry Pi Micro Arcade Machine: A Sweet Slice of Classic Gaming
A couple of weeks ago we saw a Kickstarter fundraiser for a desktop arcade machine based on the Raspberry Pi. It turns out that hacker and tinkerer Jeroen Domburg has already made a tinier, yet also functional machine based on the same computer.
Wow. So many wonderful features in such a tiny package. I think it’s as small, if not smaller, than the Space Invader cabinet we saw a while back, but this one runs MAME so it can run tons of classic (and not-so-classic) games. It has a transparent cabinet made from laser-cut acrylic, a 2.4″ LCD screen and an itty bitty OLED display up top that displays the logo of the game being played (if available). It runs on a Li-ion battery that can be recharged via USB.
This project is definitely not for beginners, but if you have the skills Domburg has posted a thorough step-by-step on his website.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean rollout for Droid RAZR HD, RAZR Maxx HD to begin next week
If this is the new Motorola, then we have to say we're fast becoming fans. Hot on the heels of the Droid RAZR M's recent Jelly Bean update, comes word that Android 4.1 will indeed be rolling out to the Droid RAZR HD and RAZR Maxx HD in December. Announced as an update on Verizon's site, the OTA is said to arrive "in phases starting next week," bringing with it the eerily prescient Google Now and ISIS compatibility. So, until then, you can hold off from manually (and obsessively) refreshing that system update setting.

World, Meet Baby Hashtag; Hashtag, Meet the World!
The first act of cruelty that some parents inflict on their children is giving them weird names or names that they can never live down. For example, magician Penn Jillette named his daughter Moxie Crimefighter. There’s also that actor, Jason Lee, who named his son Pilot Inspektor.
Another name to add to the list is Hashtag. Hashtag Jameson.
Apparently, her parents have a thing for Twitter and they decided to take it out on express it through her. Ironically, the parents announced Hashtag’s unusual name on Facebook. Go figure.
We can’t really verify that they did name their kid Hashtag, but we’re hoping that it’s some kind of joke. Either way, people on Twitter have already begun reacting to the news, which eventually gave rise to the creation of hashtags like #Foolishparents, #YourParentsHateYou, and #StupidestNameEver.

Edible Peppermint Candy Cane Spoons
These are Peppermint Candy Cane Spoons. They’re meant for scooping, stirring, gouging your annoying cousin’s eyeballs out, or whatever the hell else you people do with spoons. I don’t know, I eat with my hands like a normal person an animal! However, I gotta admit, a peppermint spoon would compliment a nice hot cup of cocoa or ice cream, but absolutely NOT for slurping soup. Because that’s bad manners. The spoons are sold as a set of 6 for just $15. That’s a steal! But don’t tell Santa. He’s gonna think you’ve been naughty and he’ll leave coal in your stocking!
ASUS Echelon Camo Edition Gaming Headset: Not Exactly Invisible
I don’t know when I started liking camo-patterned stuff, but it was a long time ago. I’ve got plenty of US army pants and shirts to prove my obsession. As camo goes, the digital camo on these headphones looks pretty good and while it won’t protect you from getting fragged, you’ll still look good.
The ASUS Echelon Camo Edition Gaming Headset is aimed at PC gaming enthusiasts. The Echelon camo is inspired by digital camouflage patterns that are popular in games and real-world military apparel. But it’s not all about looks. This headset has got 50mm neodymium magnet drivers to make those explosions sound nice and loud. The ear cups are comfortable and isolate up to 30 dB of noise, allowing you to block out the real world while you blow stuff up in the virtual one. Its braided cord will allow some flexibility, and it will probably not end up tangled like most of your headphones.
ASUS hasn’t announced the price or release date yet for the Echelon Camo headset, but I’d expect it to arrive very soon.

Those predicting the death of the e-reader in 2012 at the hands of cheap 7-inch tablets have gotten quite the surprise this year. The space is quite alive, thanks to heated competition between industry leaders such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble and some solid choices from the likes of Kobo and Sony. There are still plenty of options for those who like a little multimedia with their books -- and don't mind doing their reading on an LCD.
