AT-AT Dog Costume: Dress Your Cat as a T-47 Airspeeder

Normally I find people who dress their pets up in costumes to be incredibly annoying. However, I wouldn’t feel that way if I ran across someone with their greyhound or whippet dressed up in this AT-AT walker costume. This may be the best reason to have a dog.

The costume comes in sizes that should fit most dogs. I think it would look better on a great dane than on a chihuahua though. It reminds me more than a little of that custom AT-AT costume that Bones Mello wore a few years back.

Bones always seemed to me to be rather humiliated by his costume, and now your dog can be too. You can get the AT-AT consumer at ThinkGeek for $29.99(USD) just in time for Halloween.

This Remote Control Walking AT-AT Is the Ultimate Pet

Let’s face it, if you had your choice between a dog or a cat or an AT-AT, you would choose an AT-AT for a pet. You have to walk dogs and the cat needs its kitty litter changed. An AT-AT is hassle-free, aside from helping it stand up after snowspeeders trip it up.

All this remote control walking AT-AT needs is a new set of batteries now and then. This official Episode VII toy has authentic Star Wars sound effects and light-up features in its head.

You will love taking it outside in winter and recreating the Hoth scenes. Yeah, it is the perfect pet for Star Wars fans. It will do everything you tell it to and won’t even make yellow snow.

Millennium Falcon & AT-AT LED Lamps Only Have Light Sides

Thanks to their RGB LEDs, Hand make’s Millennium Falcon and AT-AT lamps can shine in your favorite lightsaber color. Well, probably not the obscure ones like brown or bronze.

The lamps’ LEDs shine through the acrylic sheets, illuminating the carved design. The Millennium Falcon lamp measures 6″x 9″. Unfortunately I don’t have the AT-AT lamp’s specific dimensions, but based on the pictures it’s about the same height as the Millennium Falcon lamp.

You can buy both lamps from Amazon for about $76 (USD). Hand make actually has other designs but I think these two are the best by far.

Rudolph the Red Nosed LEGO AT-AT

LEGO builder Tyler Sky is back, and this time instead of a Pink Landspeeder, he has delivered Rudolph the red nosed AT-AT. Now, how could any rebel tangle up the legs of something so cute and make it fall down?

This is a part of The VanDusen Botanical Garden’s is having their annual ‘Festival Of Lights’ exhibit in Vancouver, B.C. from December 10 to January 4. As part of this show, the Vancouver Lego Club (VLC) has put together a “HOTH FOR THE HOLIDAYS” display for The BC/Yukon Make A Wish Foundation, of which Rudy is a small part.

Rudolph has got to be the star of the show as far as I’m concerned. If this Rudolph AT-AT is guiding Santa’s sleigh, just imagine the size of it! Check out more images here.

Star Wars Lawn Ornament Turns Your Snowy Yard into a Tiny, Tacky Battle of Hoth

Ahhh… lawn ornaments. They come in two flavors: seasonal and tacky, or non-seasonal and really tacky. Being tongue-in-cheek makes them less tacky, and being inflatable makes them much, much more tacky. Tongue-in-cheek and seasonal is therefore the least tacky and most amusing form of lawn ornament. Luckily, this fallen AT-AT lawn ornament falls under that category.

Sitting alone in your yard, once snow starts to fall, the ornament starts looks like the abandoned aftermath of the Battle of Hoth, but it does beg for a destroyed power generator. Owners should also remember to put a few scorched craters in the yard every time it snows, otherwise the ornament will just start to look out of place.

The AT-AT measures 14.8″(L) x 2.2″(W) x 3.3″(H)  and is made of painted resin. It’s available at ThinkGeek for $39.99(USD).

Steampunk LEGO AT-AT: The Empire Steams Back

So, here’s the deal. In the MOC Madness competition, all the Star Wars things are going steampunk. The Steam Wars competition is broken into five rounds, which started this past July. The first challenge was to take a starfighter and re-imagine it as a minifig scale steampunk fighter. Then it was time to build speederbikes, landspeeders and airspeeders.

Now that round three is here, it is time to build a steampunk AT-AT.

And this one is a masterpiece. You are looking at markus19840420′s submission. It’s hard to believe that he only had seven days to build it.

Just look at all of that amazing detail. LEGO really needs to think outside the box and start offering kits like this.

Star Wars AT-AT Lawn Ornament: Keep Hoth the Grass!

Make your lawn look like the aftermath of the battle of Hoth with this cool AT-AT lawn ornament. This AT-AT has definitely seen better days. You try getting your legs taken out by a snowspeeder and see how you look.

It is a good way to remember the fallen heroes of Hoth and geek up the neighborhood at the same time. What’s interesting is that this is the only AT-AT that the rebels took out by tripping it. I bet the AT-AT driver still gets made fun of to this day. That’s pretty embarrassing.

AT-AT Made from Skateboards: Sustainably Harvested from the Endor Forest

That is probably the most colorful AT-AT I have ever seen. That is because this awesome AT-AT sculpture was created by Denver, Colorado-based artist Derek Keenan using reclaimed skateboards.

This thing measures 16 inches tall by 17 inches long and even has articulated joints. The detail is really amazing. Just look at those joints. If the Empire ever faced hard times and had to use other materials, like skateboards for instance, their toys of war would look just sweet! And you know that Vader and company would just love taking skateboards from kids, cause that is true evil.

This sculpture is part of a Star Wars-themed group show, called Deathstar Blues, which is on exhibit at the Black Book Gallery in Denver, CO throughout June 2014. If you are in the area go check it out.

Balloon AT-AT’s

So sweet! The Force is strong with this one. These balloon AT-AT walkers were created by Balloon Guy Entertainment and just might be the coolest balloon “animal” ever. The toddler strikes back. Maybe the Empire would have been more successful in the Battle of Hoth if they used inflatable AT-AT’s instead of armored ones. They could just float over the rebel ships. Ok maybe not. I’d love a whole fleet of these but unfortunately I can barely even blow up a balloon, much less tie them up into shapes. Leave that to the experts. (via technabob)

Balloon Animal AT-ATs: Hoth Air

Look out kid! You’re being attacked by a couple of Imperial Walkers! These impressive balloon animal AT-ATs were created by Balloon Guy Entertainment, who previously blew up a Balloon Bag End from The Hobbit.

What’s that you say? You don’t have a tow cable to take them down? That’s okay, kid, all you need is a pin.
