Santa and Reindeer Flying Drone: Ho-Ho-Hovercraft

Clearly unafraid to utilize the latest in flying technology, Santa is experimenting with delivering presents this year via a drone disguised as his sleigh and reindeer. Available from Firebox, the Flying Santa Drone is a radio-controlled drone featuring the likeness of Santa and four of his reindeer. I can already see myself flying it straight into the Christmas tree and breaking fragile ornaments.

The drone itself has an onboard rechargeable battery, and after installing three AAA batteries in the remote controller, you’re ready to ho-ho-hover to your heart’s content! At least until the drone’s battery is drained and you have to wait to recharge it. That’s when it’s time to take a snack break or play with the box it came in.

So – have you been good this year? Good enough to make Santa’s nice list? Because according to an elf friend of mine on the inside at Santa’s workshop, I have not been. I didn’t even make the naughty list; I made the sub-naughty list. I didn’t even know there was such a thing! I assume Santa is just going to come down my chimney to beat me up.

Boston Dynamics Wishes Us a Terrifying, Robot-filled Christmas

Boston Dynamics has given us a nightmare before Christmas by releasing a video of three of its creepy-ass trotting robots. The only way this video could be more terrifying is if Hector from Saturn 3 was in the sleigh wearing Santa’s head and capturing all the hot blondes.

The robots in the video are called “Spot” bots, and are a smaller version of the BigDog robots that we have seen before. The trio of bots pulls the sleigh along quite nicely – though it appears that the front two robots aren’t actually tethered together, and just leading the pack.

I might like to see Daryl replace his lost motorcycle with this setup in the next season of The Walking Dead. Check out the video and prepared to be creeped out.

Rudolph the Red Nosed LEGO AT-AT

LEGO builder Tyler Sky is back, and this time instead of a Pink Landspeeder, he has delivered Rudolph the red nosed AT-AT. Now, how could any rebel tangle up the legs of something so cute and make it fall down?

This is a part of The VanDusen Botanical Garden’s is having their annual ‘Festival Of Lights’ exhibit in Vancouver, B.C. from December 10 to January 4. As part of this show, the Vancouver Lego Club (VLC) has put together a “HOTH FOR THE HOLIDAYS” display for The BC/Yukon Make A Wish Foundation, of which Rudy is a small part.

Rudolph has got to be the star of the show as far as I’m concerned. If this Rudolph AT-AT is guiding Santa’s sleigh, just imagine the size of it! Check out more images here.

Rudolph the Reindeer returned to your TV Screens to celebrate 50th Birthday

Originally a book character written by Robert L. May for Montgomery Ward's annual Christmas book, Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer, is a glowing red nosed reindeer. He is an outcast because of his nose...

Check out this awesome AT-AT Walker made from gingerbread created by Chef Aaron Lawrence from the Magnolia Hotel and Spa (in Vancouver). It’s even outfitted in a seasonally appropriate reindeer getup like one those stupid cars with the nose and antlers on it (no your car does not need to get dressed up for the holidays, thank you). I’d love to make a little tiny licorice rope and then take it down like a cookie Luke Skywalker then devour it like a jello Jabba.
