Beyerdynamic DX 160 iE In-Ear Headphone Review: Solid, Comfortable, And Inexpensive

The Beyerdynamic DX 160 iE are smaller than the last Beyerdynamic headphone I reviewed. A lot smaller, since those were big open-back over-ears. Perhaps best known for those big over-ears, and on-ear...

Giant LEGO Mario Mushrooms: L-up

LEGO enthusiast Dirk aka dm_meister built pumpkin-sized versions of the mushroom power-ups from the Mario games. There’s the red Super Mushroom, the blue Mini Mushroom and the green 1-up Mushroom. Each model is made of almost 3,000 bricks and weighs 10lb. And they have eyes… holy crap I just realized Mario eats living creatures.

Super Mario Mushroom Case Mod: Power On to Power Up

We love a good retro case mod and nothing says retro like a Super Mario Bros. mushroom. This one comes from Etsy seller 8BitBuilder (who created the even more special Zelda PC case) and it is an awesome looking Super Mario Mushroom PC tower case mod that that looks like it is about to lift off like a rocket.

Super Mario case mod
If you have deep pockets, it can be yours for $1600(USD) over on Etsy. Sure that’s a little expensive, but it saves you the trouble of gluing hundreds of wooden cubes together and painting the whole thing. Plus you are getting a computer inside as well. It looks amazing. I just love those lights on the bottom. Too bad I don’t have the money to get one or the time to make one for myself.

I’d love to see this done as a 1-up mushroom. That would be even cooler because each purchase would give you another life.
