My Little Pony Sword: Rainbow Slash

Legend says that when this My Little Pony sword with cutie mark is pulled from the stone, they will have found their king…or Queen. The problem is that ponies only have hooves, so no one can remove the sword from the stone. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

This sword was made by DeviantART member jablechien and it also sports the traditional icon of Princess Luna, which was expertly applied using acrylic paint and a toothpick.

It would be so cool if they had weapons in My Little Pony. Your father wanted you to have this. It is an elegant pony weapon from a more civilized pony age.

Cthulhu x My Little Pony Mashup Maddie on Kickstarter: Funding is Maddness

You can now own get a vinyl figurine of Maddie, the Cthulhu-inspired pony that Bigshot Toyworks revealed earlier this year. Like Goat Simulator, Maddie started out as a joke but was awakened from her nap time by the Internet’s adulation.

Bigshot Toyworks has since created a back story for Maddie. The company describes her as “an ‘older sister’ type with an affinity for sleeping. Despite her drowsy disposition, this tentacled terror is an incredibly capable strategist and the ‘face’ to the ‘Pocalypse.” Maddie serves as the mentor of The Four Horsies of the ‘Pocalypse: Calamity (Pestilence), Raven (Famine), Clash (War) and Ghost (Death).

Try explaining that to the kids.

Pledge at least $60 (USD) on Kickstarter to get a Maddie figurine as a reward. You can also pledge at least $160 to get a Kickstarter exclusive glow-in-the-dark version of Maddie. If this fundraiser is a success, Bigshot Toyworks will be more inclined to release figurines of the Four Horsies as well.

My Little Pony Hood Ornament: Extra Horsepower

This isn’t your father’s Oldsmobile. It is Bronie Hayden Sailer’s, who is a serious fan of Princess Luna from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. It takes a serious Pony fan to ride around in this classic Olds decorated with a custom hood ornament that looks like the little Pony.

Friendship is magic and it is also all up in his grille. His car grille that is. Hayden made this cool hood ornament with a 3D printer using a design that he found on Shapeways. After that he covered it with chrome paint and had himself a unique car accessory.

My Little Pony Custom Xbox 360 Controllers, Friendship Is Button Mashing

My Little Pony fans will love what DeviantARTist Chris Cardi of CARDI-ology is doing. He modifies Xbox 360controllers with pop culture themes, like Batman and Pikachu to name a few. However, these Pony controllers really take the cake.

There is even one for Vinyl Scratch, the most famous DJ in Equestria. It has a cool nightclub vibe thanks to blue and white LEDs in the front. Still, it is hard to pick a favorite, since they all look great and represent their Pony extremely well.

I think I like Rainbow Dash the best. That color combination just looks good on an Xbox 360 controller. Good work cardi. Friendship is magic, but my BFF is my game console.

Darth Vader Made from Old Gadgets

Check out this mixed media Darth Vader, made from all kinds of electronics and gadgets. It looks just like the real Vader – if he were made from circuit boards, PlayStation controllers, Game Boys iPods and mice. It looks amazing and I would love to have this guy on my wall.

The piece was made by Argentina-based artist Elisa Naranja Metalica, who is inspired by all things pop culture. To make her pieces, she uses toys, trash, jewelry, electronics and more. In addition to the aforementioned gadgets, I spy some old floppy disks, cell phones, AC adapters, remote controls and at least one Super Nintendo cartridge.

Elisa has made lots of other awesome mixed media piece as well – like this My Little Junk Pony.

These six amazingly cute crocheted Daleks are from DeviantART member Country Geek Crochet. Rainbow Dash is here, as well as Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack and Fluttershy. All of the best ponies. Extermination has never looked so adorable.

Oh, and the Doctor now has the fourth doctor’s head in a jar, which is his new companion. Many Jelly Babies are consumed. With special guest star Benedict Cumberbatch.

My Little Pony Guitar is a Twilight Sparklecaster

Get that Brony band back together because it is time to rock the Pony Kingdom. This custom electric guitar by Vladislav is pretty and pretty awesome, and it’s all decked out in a Twilight Sparkle theme.

It’s made of alder, mahogany and rosewood. It even has star-shaped controls that are made to look like Twilight’s cutie mark. This guitar was made for a Russian Brony Convention called “Filly Feathers Festival.” Yes, that is a thing.

This is probably the best My Little Pony guitar ever made. The creator did an amazing job on the detail. Now if Ponies could just use a pick with their hooves, we could have a proper pony concert.

My Little Cthulhu: Friendship Is Insanity

An ancient evil has awakened. And he is so adorable! This cute Cthulhu pony comes from Bigshot Toyworks who is developing a Cthulhu-themed My Little Pony named Maddie. She is one of the characters in their upcoming toy and animation series aptly called “Friendship is Maddness.”

Yes. Yes it is. And cuteness. And insanity. This pony looks a bit like an Ood from Doctor Who as well. This one will not be the only newly-designed toy, but I’m guessing the story centers on her.

If you and your significant other live, breathe, and eat My Little Pony (figuratively, of course), then these wedding rings are just the rings for you. Real-life pony and brony Samantha J. Stroh and her fiance had these rings designed and made by Jason, who’s no stranger when it comes to My Little Pony stuff as he makes jewelry and accessories inspired by the franchise and sells them on his Etsy store, SilverSlingersGoods.

The ring for Samantha features the mark of Princess Cadence, while the ring for her fiance has the mark of the Shining Armor on it.
