Traveling to a foreign country is amazing, but if you don’t know the language, it can be problematic. That’s why this Icon Speak T-Shirt is so brilliant. It’s hard to learn another language and aside from that, many are too lazy to try. This shirt makes it easy.
The Icon Speak t-shirt has 40 universal icons on it for everything from bathrooms to gas stations to restaurants to hospitals. All you have to do is point at what you need to communicate while traveling in countries where you don’t speak the language.
This will help you get around in other countries without having to flip through one of those translation books. It will make your trip less stressful too, so you can enjoy the sightseeing more and get more done.
One of my favorite things about Persona 4 is that the characters wore ordinary clothes, even when they became supernatural investigators. They even changed outfits from time to time! And now we can rock some of their wardrobe, thanks to Insert Coin Clothing’s officially licensed collection.
The collection consists of 8 clothes and Chie’s pins, which look poorly made so I didn’t bother including them here. My favorites are Chie’s jacket and the June’s t-shirt.
Insert Coin sells the jackets for $84 (USD), the hoodie for $56 and the t-shirts for $30.
The first wave of virtual reality headsets are prohibitively expensive. But thanks to companies like Curiscope, we can experience the resurgent technology on the cheap. The company has created a t-shirt called Virtuali-Tee that projects a 3D model of the bones and organs inside the human torso.
The Virtuali-Tee is printed with a special graphic where the accompanying app projects the 3D model. The augmented reality app will also come with extra features such as letting you zoom in on individual organs and blood vessels, and displaying trivia.
Pledge at least about $30 (USD) on Kickstarter to receive the Virtuali-Tee as a reward.
Metal-meets-gaming clothing brand Death MtnDEATH MTN DE▲TH M✝N has a new t-shirt for longtime Legend of Zelda fans and other gamers in the know. The Princess t-shirt features a shot of Zelda from the unsurprisingly bizarre Japanese commercial for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Honestly, I hadn’t seen the ad until today, so I have Attract Mode to thank for this. Here’s the infamous ad for folks like me who’ve been missing out:

First I have to say, as cool as the idea of a Star-Lord Hooded T-Shirt and Mask is, this just looks kinda creepy. It’s like Star-Lord’s evil twin has shown up from some hell-dimension. Any kids who looked up to Star-Lord are going to be terrified this Halloween.
The hood is actually the “helmet” which features light-up LED eyes, and you can turn the mask’s lights on and off with a toggle switch. This shirt/hoodie combo is made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester, and is 200% zombie Peter Quill. Though he’s looking pretty scary and a little sad.
If you don’t mind scaring a bunch of people and making them feel awkward, you can get it for only $34.99(USD) from ThinkGeek.
Springfield was once a happy, peaceful place… until one day a powerful secret criminal organization took over. A group of young locals has sworn to clean up the city. Among them are Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson and Milhouse Van Houten. They are willing to risk anything… even their lives… on the…
Freelance illustrator Dan Evans mashed up the SEGA arcade classic with The Simpsons for British bootleg toy shop Streets of Beige. The tee also has a Bart-shaped skull and crossbones graphic at the chest and comes with stickers.
Growing up, I was a big fan of old-school animated Disney movies. I also happened to be a big fan of Star Wars. This single shirt mashes up those ’80s loves of mine.
It shows Luke Skywalker as a kid drawn in Disney animation style, and he’s pulling a lightsaber out of a stone just like Wart in The Sword in the Stone. Clearly with that lightsaber in hand, Luke will rule the kingdom.
The shirt is even more appropriate since Disney now owns all the rights to Star Wars, though I have to wonder if the legal team at Disney will come after the creators of this shirt. You can get one for just $12 at BustedTees.
