When my boss sent the link to Brando’s Bluetooth speaker I thought it was going to be a coffee cup that doubled as a speaker. I’ve clearly been out of touch with this wacky company. Because of course this is their take on a coffee cup speaker.
Just look at where its buttons and switches are. *slow clap*
The foam in this cappuccino of craziness is its price: Brando is selling the speaker for $52 (USD). Keep fighting the weird fight guys.

It’s been a while since I featured a product from Brando, and I have to say I’m slightly disappointed with what they recently showed to us. It’s a USB drive shaped like a king chess piece. I know right? A perfectly reasonable, gift ready gadget that doesn’t make you want to bash your head against the wall in confusion? What’s going on at Brando?
The only weird thing about it it’s that Brando calls it a Chess Flash Drive. And it’s not even that weird! They just accidentally a word.

While it’s not an official LEGO brick on the cover of these journals, that doesn’t make them any less awesome as a place to sketch down ideas for your next big LEGO build, right?
Each memo pad measures about 3.14″ x 5.43″, and is adorned with a 2×4 grid of LEGO-like bumps on the front. While Moleskine does sell some official LEGO journals, I like how much more literal these are – despite the fact that they don’t interlock.
They’re available in red, green or yellow, and sell for $12(USD) each, or $29 for a set of all three over at Brando, where according to the site: “LEGOMAN does not include.” Indeed.
Drones are a hot piece of tech these days, whether you’re a kid or an armed force. Rich kids and rich armed forces, that is: for instance, the popular Parrot AR.Drones sell for $250 to $300 (USD). Lucky for us, Brando stopped being weird for a second and got a hold of a cheap alternative.

If you have an abundance of mobile devices and sunlight, then you’ll find a solar charger handy. Admittedly, this one from Brando isn’t the prettiest charger – or ornament – you’ll see, but it does make up for it in versatility and price.
The charger has a built in 3,000mAh battery that can be charged either via the leaf-like solar panels or via AC power. It comes with a variety of connectors for all sorts of mobile devices, including Samsung, Apple, Nokia and micro USB.
