Pokémon Amigurumi: Gotta Squeeze ‘Em All

Johnny Navarro sounds like an action hero’s name, but our man here is a crochet hero. The Etsy seller makes adorable amigurumi of Pokémon, Digimon and other geeky characters.

Charmander uses tiny smile! It’s super effective! Johnny’s amigurumi vary in size, but each of them can fit in the palm of your hand.

The last three of Johnny’s amigurumis that I’m going to show you are not actual Pokémon, but it would be criminal not to share them. First up is Chanfing, the popular Pokémon Fusion character.

And this is a one-two kawaii punch. The jellyfish will kill you with cuteness, then the octopus will bring you back to life with cuteness.

Johnny sells his amigurumi on Etsy for $30 to $45 (USD) each. It seems like he only makes limited copies of each amigurumi – Pikachu and Chanfing are no longer on his store – so catch ‘em right away. You can check out Johnny’s blog for past and future designs.

Your Cat Probably Wouldn’t Tolerate This Crocheted Fantasy Viking Helm

If your cat is a cat, and your cat almost certainly is, it almost definitely doesn’t like having its ears touched in any way. After all, cats use their hearing to constantly survey their environments and position their ears for communication. In that light, I can definitely see why the average cat might not be cool with weird crap messing with its ears. This cat, however, actually looks pretty cool about wearing a hat that constricts its ears. That’s probably because it’s an awesome crochet fantasy viking helm, complete with ridiculous and wonderful Wagner-esque horns.

It sold for just $32.60 (CAD) (~$29 USD) from iheartneedlework on Etsy. While the boat has sailed for this particular hat, and its proud new owner probably tore it to shreds in roughtly 7.336 seconds, iheartneedlework has many other designs up for sale, and I’m sure Meredith, the hat’s creator, would be willing to recreate the viking helm for you, should you promise to give her $29. People tend to be very agreeable once you offer them money.

This awesome throw cushion or pillow is fully operational and will soon be the ultimate power in the whole wide living room. It was created by Pops de milk and is crocheted into a perfect sphere of Imperial destruction.

This pillow is perfect for your living room, bed, wherever you need a space station that can wipe out planets, but still be cuddled with after. It measures 28″ in circumference, but if that seems big, she also made a cute little version.

Crochet Amigurumi Stuffed Tauntaun: Soft Hoth

This adorable crocheted Tauntaun will be a great addition to your other plush Star Wars toys. He will look great on your shelf, your couch, in your bed or wherever. He isn’t big enough to cut open if you are facing bitter cold temps though. Which is good, considering the smell.

Crochet. The final frontier… Do you like the logical side of Spock, but also want him to have a softer side? Well, this Spock/Minion amigurumi is the perfect new member of your crew if you have a spot open on your bridge.

These six amazingly cute crocheted Daleks are from DeviantART member Country Geek Crochet. Rainbow Dash is here, as well as Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack and Fluttershy. All of the best ponies. Extermination has never looked so adorable.

Can the Doctor save Equestria? Find out on the super special Doctor Who/My Little Pony crossover. Since Steven Moffat has now officially run out of ideas. This amigurumi Millenium Falcon is absolutely adorable. It perfect for smuggling contraband, because what Imperial ship would stop something so cute?

Etsy crafter Mysterious Cats will sell you the pattern for about $8(USD). Actually turning it into the cool ship above is up to you at that point. Once completed, your amigurumi Millennium Falcon will measure about 7.7” long and 6.7” wide, so it is a nice sized ship for your desk or wherever.

This seller also has patterns for the X-Wing, a TIE Fighter, Boba Fett’s Slave I and many others. They are just too cute. You could have an entire crochet fleet.

Amigurumi Iron Man: Stark-craft

Experience the softer side of Tony Stark with this awesome Iron Man amigurumi. He is completely adorable and also nicely detailed.

As you can see in the picture, Iron Man’s mask even flips up. As a bonus the helmet also comes off completely, revealing Tony’s head and he even has facial hair. Hug him, squeeze him, cuddle with him in bed. It’s all good. No one will know what a softy you are.

He’s the cutest Avenger. It must have taken a lot of time and effort to get all of that detail. In the end he turned out perfect. I wish I had one to put on the shelf and admire for myself.
