D20 Hat Gives You 1-in-20 Chance of Not Looking Like a Hipster Doofus

Back in the day, any time the dungeon master whipped out the 20-sided die, you knew you were in some deep crap. This D20 hat is perfect for the D&D geeks out there or your DM in your group, as long as they don’t mind looking a bit trendy.

ThinkGeek calls the hat a Crit Success d20 Banded Trilby, but I call it a hipster hat. It’s made from black straw and the grosgrain band is embellished with tiny dice in varying rolls.

This thing is a one-size-fits-most with a 23 1/2″ interior circumference. In other words, my big melon wouldn’t fit inside it. If your head fits, you can grab one at ThinkGeek for $29.99.

Gaming Dice Made out of Sugar Candy: Roll Then Eat

Roll a critical hit for diabetes while you kill monsters with these edible candy tabletop gaming dice sets from Etsy shop SugarAndDiceCrafts. Each set includes one each of these seven dice: a d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and a d100 percentage die.

These sugary treats come in various colors and two dice sizes, regular for $15, and mini for $8 a set. You can use these to play your campaign and then eat them at the end of the night. Also, eat them whenever you roll a critical fail because they deserve it and you need vengeance. Hopefully, this works, and they don’t just melt in your hand. Of course, if they do, you could always melt yourself an Infinity Gauntlet around your hand to help with your roll. That would be badass.

My question is, why has a candy company not started mass producing these so I can buy them at the store? Willy Wonka’s game has really been slipping. Enough with the golden tickets already and get back to work rotting kids teeth you freak. Damn. Dentists are depending on you.

D20 Waffle Maker Cooks up a Critical Breakfast Hit

Who doesn’t like waffles? I could eat my way out of a roomful of ’em. And what about role-playing games? Well of course, any good geek loves those. So why not combine both of these divine pursuits with a single purchase? What you’re looking at here is the world’s only D20 Waffle Maker!

This thing will crisp up and roll you a delicious Belgian waffle in no time, embossed with numeric markings which will serve to catch some butter and syrup in all their nooks and crannies. Plus, your waffles are guaranteed to always roll a 20, so how can you not buy one of these?

The grill has a non-stick cooking surface and makes waffles that measure about 5.75″ across by 6.75″ tall. It sells for just $29.99(USD), exclusively from ThinkGeek. I wonder what that works out to in silver pieces.

Dungeon Master LEGO Set: Dungeons and Dragons and Minifigs

Dungeons and Dragons fans are going to love this conceptual 3,000-piece Dungeon Master set created by LEGO Ideas user Ymarilego. These would be an awesome role-playing aid, and I’m not the only one who thinks so. It has already gathered enough support (10,000 votes) to be considered for production by LEGO. I hope it happens.

The set can be built into many different layouts, so it is perfect for tabletop gaming. It is a great way to get a visual idea of your dungeon adventures. It’s nice to know just how far you are from that monster and where the exits are after all.

Lucky Bastard Gets the Ultimate Custom D&D Gaming Table

AWEme loves to make fan’s dreams come true for everyone, except me apparently. I’m not jealous though. No really, it’s cool. The latest from their Super-Fan Builds series has them building an awesome Dungeons & Dragons table for a fan of the classic RPG. But not for me. I didn’t want one anyway. Let this guy have it.

This D&D table is pretty amazing. It can be used as a dining room table and an awesome gaming table. It has all sorts of bells and whistles built in, including a big-screen TV that works as an interactive gaming surface. It’s also got all kinds of neat and intricate D&D inspired details like a giant king battling a dragon on each of its legs.

You can check out all of the features and watch how it was built in the video. No, I swear I’m not jealous at all.

Squishy Dice Protect Your Nads from Angry Dungeon Masters

I can recall one game of D&D growing up that got a bit out of hand. The Dungeon Master got mad because we said the game was lame and started to throw dice at us all. A D20 to the gonads is no fun indeed. I think what we needed were these soft dice.

squisjy-dice-2zoom in

It’s a set of seven that can do just about anything you need in a game of D&D. The set has a d4, d6, d8, d10, d20, and a percentile d10. The dice are made of foam, and seem to be similar to a stress ball from the description. Each is about 2-inches in diameter.

These might be a good way to introduce your little one to D&D. Plus you can use them to determine the percentage chance that your kid can eat ice cream for dinner. The entire 7-die set is $19.99 at ThinkGeek. Now that I think of it, a giant foam die to the nads will probably still hurt, so wear a cup.
