This Medieval Joker Armor Is Insane

Prince Armory has been making stuff for cosplayers, armor and weapon collectors since 2007. They have all kinds of detailed custom armor creations. Their newest design looks like it comes straight from the pages of a DC Elseworlds comic book.

This suit of medieval style leather Joker armor is colorful and creepy and is perfect for the Clown Prince of Crime. The suit is made of seven hardened leather pieces: A Jester’s Helmet with Joker Mask, Breastplate, Drama Face Pauldrons, Breastplate, Jester’s War Skirt, Cuisses/Knees/Greaves, and Articulated Jester Shoe Sabatons.

The detail is crazy. One can only imagine how cool Medieval Batman would look fighting this guy. I would not want to go up against this Joker. He is even creepier and more insane than usual.

This Animated LEGO Joker Funhouse is Just Awesome

Joker Funhouse

The Joker’s funhouse is more madness than fun, but what else would you expect from the Joker aside from his signature scares that go from funny to deadly in an instant? Master LEGO builder Paul Hetherington decided to take on the Joker’s funhouse for his next project and the results are nothing short of amazing.

The most impressive part? Some parts of the funhouse are actually animated, from the googly eyes and gated entrance to Robin and Batman, who’s twirling by the entrance non-stop.

You can check out a gallery of various views of the funhouse here. A video of the funhouse in motion is available after the break.

Paul Hetherington did more than merely build this colorful funhouse lair for the Joker; he also animated so that Poison Ivy’s plants chomp, the Riddler runs his decoder, Penguin and his birds enjoy the Rocket Ride, and Batman and Robin do their best to stop their wicked fun.

LEGO Joker’s Fun House: Wanna Know How I Got This Park?

Welcome to Mr. J’s carnival. You must be 1.5″ tall to ride. That’s because this is a LEGO diorama featuring the Clown Prince of Crime’s headquarters of sorts. Made by Paul “Brickbaron” Etherington, it contains lots of moving parts and depicts Batman and other characters in dire straits against Joker and other villains.

Paul built the diorama over a two-month period using a number of video game levels as his inspiration. Its moving parts are powered by LEGO Power Functions motors. There’s a lot going on here and lots of villains are present, including Joker’s zealot Harley Quinn, the Riddler and Two-Face. Batman is actually in three different scenes at once. He’s being harassed by goons at the entrance of the fun house, battling with Joker on a carnival ride and is also about to be caught by a huge jack-in-the-box. Best to watch it all in the video below:

The Joker’s Fun House won the Best in Show, Evil Genius and Honorable Mention in the People’s Choice awards at the 2013 Brickcon. You can see more of it on Paul’s Flickr page.

Grillain Villain Aprons: Kill the Cook

Etsy shop Haute Mess makes Grillain Villains, a line of handmade aprons that are based on the costumes of famous supervillains. Haute Mess gleefully proclaims, “If you gotta cook and clean why not look evil doing so?!” Because you want people to eat what you cook? Oh was that a rhetorical question? Okay then!

The Krang apron is my favorite of all the designs, although just about all of the women’s aprons look neat. I don’t recommend the Boba Fett men’s apron though, unless you want to be the evil Thong Man.

Summon your minions and head to Haute Mess to order a Grillain Villain apron. They cost between $40 to $150 (USD) depending on the design.

Even villains need to be good sometimes, or at least get a little positive recognition. Despite their whole existence being about possessing power, killing and making life quite miserable for the protagonists of their respective universes, even these guys can be viewed as cute sometimes.
