Pac-Man Inspired Coasters: Drinka Drinka Drinka

Running around a maze with ghosts on your ass and gobbling dots all day works up quite the thirst. It’s important for a Pac-Man to keep hydrated. While Pac-Man Energy Drink is hard to come by these days, there are plenty of other thirst quenchers to choose from. Just be sure not to put it down directly on your coffee table or Ms. Pac-Man is gonna be pissed. What you need are some Pac-Man themed coasters.

The guys at SPSNOLA make these fun video game inspired coasters, also known as “Ghosters.” They come in two different versions – a colorful acrylic set that replicates the colors from the classic arcade game, and a solid hardwood version that looks a bit more substantial and classy. You can’t go wrong with either style.

Either 5-piece set will look great sitting on a table in your game room. The acrylic set sells for $24, while the hardwood set goes for $48. Just wakka wakka wakka your way over to Etsy to order your coasters now.

‘Pac-Man: Championship Edition’ demake is coming to the US

Pac-Man Succulent Planters Trade Quarters for Cacti

You know what the ghosts from Pac-Man could use? Plants growing out of their heads, that’s what. Yeah, that makes them much more adorable, and less intimidating for sure. That’s why I love these Pac-Man ghost planters from Dips and Prints.

Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde are all here, and ready to help provide a home for your indoor succulents. Of course, Pac-Man is here to try and gobble them up too, though I’m thinking the spiky plants might get stuck in his throat. Wait, does Pac-Man even have a throat? Who knows? Regardless, these guys would look great sitting on your bookshelf… or your maze if you have one.

These guys are 3D-printed from PLA bioplastic, and come in two different sizes 2.5″ tall and 4″ tall for the ghosts, and 2.75″ tall and 4.43″ tall for Pac-Man, respectively. The small ones sell for $14.99 each or $44.99 for the set, and the large ones are $19.99 each or $69.99 for the set. You can chase them down over on Etsy.

Pac-Man Toiletry Bag: Doppa Doppa Doppa

When you travel, you need a place to keep all your grooming and toiletry products organized so they don’t just fall out all over your clothing and spill everywhere. A toiletry bag, aka “dopp kit” is a must have, and I think I must have this one.

This shiny black PVC bag from Balvi is embellished with the maze from the classic arcade game Pac-Man. Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde are all there, along with lots of dots to gobble, and power pills for taking down the ghosts roaming around your suitcase.

The Pac-Man dopp kit is available from Madrid, Spain retailer Curiosite for €14.99 (~$17 USD) but if you don’t want to try and deal with international shipping, you can find a similar (but not as good looking) bag on Amazon.

Pac-Man Mug Powers You up with Caffeine

Pac-Man was the first video game I ever played in the arcade back in the day. I remember not making it very long because I was always trying to gobble up the power pellets and didn’t do a good job evading the ghosts. Fans of Pac-Man who prefer to get their power up via caffeine instead of gobbling up dots might want this mug.

The 3D sculpted mug has a large curved yellow handle and Pac-Man’s smiling face. His eyes look a lot like the Pac-Man in the old games. The mug is made of ceramic, which means one drop and no more wakka wakka wakka. It’s not microwave safe, and you also have to hand wash it, just like an actual Pac-Man.

It will hold 20 ounces of whatever you want, and Amazon (affiliate link) will sell you one for $14.99.

Pac-Man Procrastination Power Maze Safe: Gobble Dots to Withdraw Cash

Do you need a place to keep your money safe? Perhaps you’d like a safe that is also a game? Well, check this out. The Pac-Man: Procrastination Power Maze Safe is a miniature bank that is also a Pac-Man game.

Let Pac-Man keep your coins safe and sound while you do some retro gaming. No quarters needed. This is even more old school than an arcade cabinet. You just move the box around, moving the ball bearing through the maze. That yellow sphere is Pac-Man. When you move him through the maze to the designated spot, you can open it up and get your money. Then, of course, you can spend that money on more cool Pac-Man merch. This is a great way to save your money.

I love seeing the maze as a cube – that could have been a cool sequel, where you enter a different side of the cube when you leave the sides of the maze. This bank makes a great gift for retro gamers, and is an officially licensed Pac-Man product. Aside from helping you save your money, it is also a great bit of geek decor. It may not play the Pac-Man theme, but it looks awesome.

Collect your money, play the game and spend your cash. The circle is complete.
