What could make Scrabble even better? Hold on to your H-A-T’s wordsmithing gamers out there because Andrew Capener has created this artisan Scrabble Typography Edition (this is actually the 2nd edition). He uses 15 different fonts to design this stunning board game, available in a limited edition of 2000. It kinda looks like you’re building high scoring ransom notes across the board.
He even redesigned the board by essentially blacking out all the squares. The gorgeous set has maple letter pieces and walnut tile racks and board. A lazy susan under the board keeps it rolling. Since this is a limited edition collectible, it’s price is in the triple word score territory of $199. (via iihih)

Check out this sweetass miniature golf layout. Each hole is in the shape of script letters (which slightly resemble the Craziest Gadgets logo!) It was designed by British design Ollie Willis using a curvy typeface that pairs golf and design into one challenging course. Now those familiar with the sport, yes sport, of mini-golf know that a course has only 18 holes and the alphabet has 26 letters. But more is better, right? Closeup:
Looks like it’s made from some plywood and astroturf. All you backyard carpenters get busy building. Now unfortunately Ollie has not completed his full course yet. The only picture he’s posted in the G hole, so we’ll assume that’s the extent of the course. However, he has released his designs for the whole alphabet, which looks like this:
I’m guessing that the “I” and “J” would be the elusive par 1 holes. Or maybe the letters could combine to spell out stuff (like Craziest Gadgets?) and make one longer unnecessarily complex hole. (via iihih)

You may have seen one of those fish tank making reality shows on TV (there’s at least 2 different ones on now!) but you’ve probably never seen a tank as edgy as this one by Dean Zeus Colman. The UK based artist is known for his graffiti based art and this is just another example- except that it’s a functional aquarium.
Those are some badass urban fish right there. You won’t see this one in your regular pet store. Typography fans are gonna dig this one. I’d like to get one that says “trapped”. (via iihih)
Illustrator Josh Mirman takes his word-shaping talents to the Galactic Federation. As he did with Mario and other classic videogame characters, Mirman drew the heroine Samus Aran in his Very Wordy style – her body parts are made of words related to her.
As with his previous creations – including these awesome Mega Man posters – you can buy Code of a Bounty Hunter printed on paper or on a T-shirt.
