This Volkswagen beetle wrapped in matte black is worthy of being Batman’s next ride!

Imagine vigilante Batman driving this hot roadster in Gotham City, with those worthy weapon upgrades to take on the bad blood brewing on the streets. A minimalist look that’s fit for the 21st century, and yes, being open roof does help in getting out of the vehicle if need be. Now that we’ve let loose our imagination, let’s get back to reality for a while. This 1961 Volkswagen Beetle deluxe converted into a roadster with a matte black treatment is the work of Danni Koldal, who’s virtually facelifted the vintage four-wheeler into a hotrod that’s not overdone, still maintains its masculine appeal.

The front windshield has been trimmed down to the bare minimum, giving the ride a mean attitude that matches its personality. The black is contrasted by the silver-white trims on the doors, hood and alloy wheels. There’s a superman logo near the top of the hood and “Superman” etched on the back, so Danni indeed wanted it to be a Batmobile for the modern crime-fighting superhero (though I’m sure Batman will change that or make it a common DC-crime fighting mobile). Those fat wheels also go with the upper body of the Volkswagen that Danni has managed to turn into hot property – we want to own it right away. Interiors carry forward the sleek appeal which shouts out loud for a midnight drive on the freeway. We are already daydreaming, aren’t we?

There’s a lot we would love to know about how this custom job was achieved, and this design leaves us craving for more. Perhaps, that’s what Danni intended – leaving everyone who comes across this roadster, bamboozled to bits!

Batman Engagement Ring: If Batman Ever Proposes to Catwoman

Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle have been dancing around their relationship for as long as I can remember. I think it’s about time that Batman got down on one knee and asked Catwoman for her hand in marriage. Sure, there was that time when Catwoman gave up her life of crime and married Batman back in 1955, but that took place in an alternate reality on “Earth-Two,” so that doesn’t really count.

Seriously, put a ring on it, Bats. I’ve even already picked one out for you.

Among their various wares, Canadian jewelry shop Geeky Rings sells this sweet Batman-inspired engagement ring. This particular ring is made of gold with a bunch of bats flying around the band and holding up a ruby red gemstone at its center. The ring can be special ordered in other gemstone colors, as well as in white or a rose gold and silver combo, and an 18K gold version. If you’re looking for something that captures the “dark” aspect of The Dark Knight even better, they also sell a murdered-out black version.

Prices for the Batman engagement ring start around $550 and go up to $930 depending on the materials used. That’s chump change for the Wayne family, so you’ve got no excuse, Bruce.

Now, I wonder if this is the ring that Peter Parker gave Mary Jane back when they got married in the 1980s.

A new Batmobile is probably one of the only good things to happen in 2020

Boredom and dissatisfaction are two of the biggest drivers for innovation and creativity. Maybe you don’t like something, maybe you have free time on your hands, so you sit and fix stuff and make them better in your own vision. That’s sort of why we’re looking at this absolutely vicious Pagani-on-steroids Batmobile that Encho Enchev designed because he felt the current Batmobile wasn’t intense enough.

Designed with edgy body-work, piercing looks, and the classic black design with yellow accents, the Batmobile GT 2020 feels like it could strike fear into the hearts of the toughest criminals (or at least get them to consider an honest living even for a split second). If the edgy, Batarang-on-wheels bodywork doesn’t do it, the pop-out machine guns near the rear wheels should spook even armed bandits… and when justice is restored, the Dark Knight can flee the scene at breakneck speeds, thanks to those three pretty illegal looking afterburners on the rear.

I hope it isn’t too late for Robert Pattinson to reconsider his ride.

The Batmobile GT 2020 is a conceptual creation and is in no way associated with the Batman franchise. The use of the Batman logo is purely representative.

Swarovski Crystal Batmobile Based on Tim Burton’s Version

The Batmobile has been in the news recently with the reveal of the version that’s expected to appear in Matt Reeves’ upcoming Batman movie. While Batman’s new sled looks like a muscle car on steroids, previous versions were much more based in fantasy. Each reboot of DC’s superhero franchise results in a new Batmobile, and one of my favorites is the variant that Anton Furst designed for Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman.

If you love Burton’s Batmobile, and also like fancy shiny things, then check out this slick crystal version made by Swarovski.

The jet black crystal Batmobile measures just under 6″ long, and features a cool mix of low-poly facets along with key design elements from Michael Keaton’s iconic ride. Up front is that big turbine air intake, while those cape-inspired bat wings round out the Batmobile’s rear end. Now that I understand vehicle aerodynamics more than I did back in ’89, I don’t know why you’d want those things instead of a horizontal spoiler though. With all that thrust, you’d want all the downforce you could get. And it’s not like Bruce Wayne couldn’t afford the most expert vehicle engineers to tell him this. But I digress.

In all there are 473 facets on the crystal sculpture, which would look amazing in serious Batfan’s collection. You can purchase this wonderful crystal Batmobile for $599 – which seems like a lot of coin until you realize that Swarovski maskes a far more sparkly version of the Batmobile that sells for a whopping $11,500.

Batman Is Here to Crack Nuts and Take Names

It’s generally accepted that Batman isn’t supposed to kill any of his foes, but instead just beat them up a bit and then apprehend them. Sure, some interpretations have been a bit fast and loose with the Dark Knight’s moral code, but I prefer to think of him as someone willing to dish out a good beatdown, but never a finishing move.

One obvious spot for Batman to use his strength to quickly take down a bad guy is on their nuts, and now you can too, thanks to this officially-licensed Batman nutcracker.

The 10″ tall cast resin Batman sculpture comes from nutcracker specialists Kurt S. Adler, Inc., and features a sharp and severe look like he did in early 2000s Justice League animated series. The description says it’s lighted, but I’m not exactly sure what part of him lights up – maybe his eyes? Or maybe that’s a mistake. Who knows? We don’t have time for questions. We’re here to bust some heads and crack open some delicious hazelnuts!

If you’re ready to crack some nuts like Bruce Wayne does, then head over to Amazon and order your Batman nutcracker today.

Extravagant RJ Joker Watch Is No Laughing Matter

Why did Batman sit on his watch? He wanted to be on time. (Ba-dum-bum.) Like most of the Joker’s jokes, there’s nothing funny about the seriously intricate Swiss-made timepieces from RJ: two DC Comics watches featuring Batman foes The Joker and Two-Face. Each is in a limited edition of 100 priced at (gulp) $15,700 apiece.

The RJ Arraw Joker watch is a self-winding chronograph in a satin-brushed 45mm titanium case with rubber bumpers and ace-of-hearts-shaped hands. The reverse is laser-engraved with a Joker portrait. The dial is hand-painted assuring that no two watches will be exactly alike.

The Joker watch comes with an exclusive deck of Joker playing cards and three interchangeable straps: green and purple alligator skin, and black rubber. The whole package can be yours for the price of a 2019 Hyundai Accent when it drops on 11/28/2019.
