BMW i Vision Dee is a smart companion on wheels for future motorheads

What if a smart car has the emotional intellect of the vehicles depicted in “Cars” movie and the futuristic aptitude of Knight Rider? At CES 2023 BMW has unveiled just what we imagined in pipedreams.

Meet i Vision Dee concept of the future that we had the chance to experience in real at the ongoing show in Las Vegas. The electric performance sedan is centered around minimalism while being rich in immersive interaction with the user thanks to its visual, auditory and graphical elements.

Designer: BMW

The highlighting visual element in the concept car is the kidney-shaped grille with the phygital (physical and digital) design on a uniform surface in conjunction with the headlights to make possible surreal facial expressions to emote at other riders. Expressions like joy, astonishment or visual approval for an enhanced level of interaction. As per Adrian van Hooydonk, head of BMW Group Design, the technology will create a harmonious human-machine relationship. He added that the BMW i Vision Dee can seamlessly integrate with the “digital life and become a trusty companion.”

On the outside, BMW employs the E-ink color-shifting technology for 32 different color options for a dynamic look. There are 240 E-ink segments that can be actuated for different patterns, artwork or more for a surreal transformation like a chameleon. Move inside and you are braced with a digital HUD that spans across the front windshield. The Mixed Reality Slider makes use of in-house shy tech to control the level of digital content to be displayed. It can be fully analog or have four additional steps right from driving information or visual infotainment data to a full augmented reality or virtual reality interface. Of course the driver is always in control of how much digital interface fuses with real life even with Level 5 autonomy.

BMW has admitted that we’ll not be seeing i Vision Dee out on the streets by the end of the decade, but the technology used will make it to future cars in more ways than not. For example, the HUD on this one could be used in future cars for display and operating concepts.

Lenovo refreshes its laptop line at CES 2023 with a new Slim 7, Yoga 6, and Yoga 9i laptops

As Lenovo took the CES limelight to debut some of its most uniquely innovative products, it also provided the company with the opportunity to refresh some of its classics and crowd-favorite machines with newer specs and a better design. They debuted the Slim 7, an “exquisitely designed portable yet powerful device” while giving the Yoga 6 and Yoga 9i hardware bumps in the form of newer processors from AMD and Intel respectively.

Designer: Lenovo

The Lenovo Slim 7 (also known as the Slim 6i) is a slick, powerful, attractive laptop with a $729 price tag that allows you to work and create with ease, no matter where you are. It’s built on the Intel Evo platform and comes with a 13th gen Intel Core chipset on the inside. The Slim 7 sports a beautiful 14-inch OLED LCD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio that can be upgraded to a 2.8K resolution. Optional upgrades also include touch support for the display.

The all-metal aluminum chassis feels light yet reliably solid, and the laptop’s raised camera notch makes it easy to open in the blink of an eye. The 14-inch OLED display with Dolby Vision offers stunning visuals and optional touch support, making it perfect for creative tasks like photo and video editing.

The Yoga 6 is a compact 13″ flexible 2-in-1 laptop that has a 360° hinge that turns the laptop into a tablet – a signature trait of Lenovo’s Yoga line. Now in its Gen 8, the new Yoga 6 gets a bump in the form of the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 processor on the inside. Aside from bringing the laptop into the modern age, the processor enables better battery optimization as well as more seamless WFH tasks like video conferencing, etc.

The Yoga 6 is available in both metal and fabric-clad variants, offering distinct style options for different users. While the 13-inch screen may not seem like much, it comes with an FHD+ resolution and is built to be touch-sensitive, supporting a tablet mode with the display folded all the way open. You’ve also got a 1080p IR webcam, a built-in fingerprint reader, and support for a stylus. The Yoga 6 also starts at $729.99 with availability in April 2023.

The Yoga 9i is just as flexible and versatile as its smaller cousin, but with a 14″ diagonal, offering a larger display that feels more conducive to professional use. The 9i gets an upgrade in terms of its processor, with the new 13th Gen Intel Core chipset under the hood. You’ve got a 13.3” 2.8K touch-sensitive display that adjusts to pretty much any angle, folding all the way back to give you a tablet mode that’s perfect for in-hand use with either your fingers or a stylus.

The Yoga 9i comes in two colors – a light, bronze-ish Oat Meal and a Storm Grey (shown above). The laptop sports a quad-speaker system from Bowers & Wilkins, and has an FHD 2MP IR webcam with a privacy shutter built into the laptop’s notched top that also helps with being able to open and shut the laptop with ease. The refreshed Yoga 9i (14”, 8) will start at $1,499.99 (with the Precision Pen 2 stylus available as an add-on) and is expected to be available starting April 2023.

The Lenovo Yoga AIO 9i all-in-one PC is just as pretty on the back as it is on the front…

Crafted to look like a sophisticated visual balancing act, the Lenovo Yoga AIO is a marvel of design and engineering. This absolute looker of an all-in-one PC comes with an expansive 31.5-inch, 3-side borderless, 4K 100% sRGB display connected to its base by a gorgeously minimal metal hinge that lets you adjust the display angle to your liking. On the base, you’ve got 7 ports for better cable management, including a pass-through USB-C port that lets you charge both your AIO as well as a laptop (if you’re using it as an external display). The circular base, although compact, even comes with built-in Harman Kardon speakers, along with a dedicated wireless charging zone for your smartphone or AirPods.

Designer: Lenovo

Just looking at its design, you know that the Yoga AIO 9i was made for creatives. It’s powerful, but it isn’t a work horse, it’s a majestic stallion, with an interplay between black and bronze, and a use of minimal geometric detailing to make the all-in-one PC look like a work of art. The device comes with compatibility for 13th Gen Intel i7 and i9 processors that can be paired with an NVIDIA GeForce Next-Gen Laptop GPU to give you a machine capable of heavy photo/video editing as well as gaming.

The minimal-yet-ornate all-in-one PC still manages to have a few tricks up its sleeve. It comes with its own 5MP infrared webcam with a built-in electric shutter and smart login capabilities. You’ve also got four Harman Kardon speakers under the hood (2 tweeters and 2 subwoofers), and Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive audio experience to match the 4K imagery on the display. Yes, there’s a 3.5mm jack on the back too, if you’ve got better speakers or headphones available. Impressively enough, the Yoga AIO 9i still manages all this while having an aggressively reduced carbon footprint. 75% of all the aluminum used in its manufacturing is recycled, and the dedicated keyboard that comes with your Lenovo Yoga AIO 9i contains up to 65% post-consumer recycled ABS plastic. The Yoga AIO 9i is expected to be available starting in Q3 2023, and is priced at $1799.99.

Lenovo’s new ThinkBook laptop comes with MagSafe-style snap-on modular accessories

Do you remember the Moto Mods? Sure, they date back to 2016, so I won’t fault you for forgetting about them, but the company announced a series of modular accessories like a battery pack, speakers, and a Hasselblad camera that could basically snap onto the back of the Moto Z phone. Magnets would hold the accessories in place, and connector pins would allow the accessories to interface with the phone. While the logistics of that idea never really worked out (Apple’s MagSafe ecosystem is limited to charging too), the idea seemed rather impressive, and Lenovo (who owned Motorola back in the day) is implementing it with their latest ThinkBook 16p.

Designer: Lenovo

The ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 is a commendable 16-inch laptop with the latest 13th gen Intel Core H-series processors and optional discrete graphics up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX. The laptop sports a 165hz 3.2K 16-inch panel with Dolby Vision® support, and has DDR5 memory and dual-SSD storage providing up to 1TB of storage space. It’s an impressive laptop, no less… but there’s one detail that really adds the cherry on this clamshell cake. The outward-facing notch on the top of the display, with various connector pins. This notch acts as the docking spot for Lenovo’s new line of Magic Bay accessories, which completely transform the laptop by adding modular features to it.

The most notable of Lenovo’s Magic Bay accessories is the 4K webcam that simply snaps onto the top of your laptop, giving you a bigger, better camera that’s designed for content creators and streamers. The ThinkBook 16p already has an FHD IR (or optional RGB) webcam built in, but snapping a 4K camera absolutely transforms your setup while eliminating any tabletop clutter like tripods, wires, etc. The webcam sits on a 270° adjustable hinge, allowing you to change its angle to face you, upwards, downwards (at your keyboard), or even in the opposite direction (if you’re producing while shooting another subject). An electronic privacy shutter lets you turn the camera off when not in use, or you can just pull it off the laptop when you don’t need it.

Lenovo Magic Bay 4K Webcam

Close-up of the 270° swivel hinge

Although created as a separate accessory (instead of being bundled with the 4K camera, the Magic Bay Light is an independent module that snaps to the ThinkBook 16p, giving your laptop’s own webcam an additional light source. “Poor lighting is often the cause of user frustration, either too dark or too light, and ambient light frequently creates unwanted or unflattering shadows. Lenovo Magic Bay Light can deliver up to 200-lux of adjustable brightness with minimal power consumption”, says the company.

The final Magic Bay accessory may just be the dark horse. Dubbed the Magic Bay LTE, this module gives your laptop mobile connectivity in remote locations where the internet is unreliable and cafes with sketchy WiFi hotspots. The Magic Bay LTE offers 4G LTE speeds thanks to the SIM card slot in it that lets you easily access mobile networks no matter where you are. An LED indicator on the top lets you know your connection status, and the gadget also comes with a USB-C port that lets you hook it to other devices that don’t have the same docking system as the ThinkBook 16p.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 16p Gen 4 will start at $1349 and is expected to be available starting May 2023. Magic Bay accessories will be available exclusively with the ThinkBook 16p Gen 4.

Dual-screen Lenovo YogaBook 9i may just be the most versatile laptop ever made

It feels like the Surface Duo on steroids…

You know, we’ve spent a better part of the last decade trying to reinvent the phone. Folding phones, sliding phones, phones with two screens, pop-up cameras, anything just to make it look different and unique. Here’s the problem though, the laptop has seen barely any innovation of this vigor. Yes, companies have tried building laptops with better hinges, detachable keyboards, and even replacing the trackpad with a touchscreen. Apple tried the Touch Bar too, remember? None of them have changed the laptop’s core format… none up until now. Lenovo announced the YogaBook 9i today, a laptop that defies expectations by boasting of a dual-screen setup, 180° hinges, a detachable keyboard, a companion stylus, and the ability to use the machine in a dizzying number of new ways (we’ve got images below!)

The two OLED screens measure 14 inches, with one having a resolution of 4K and the other a respectable 2.8K. The laptop’s clamshell format can be propped up thanks to a built-in kickstand, and you can even fold it shut with the display facing outward and use it in tablet mode. Forget what you know about laptops. The YogaBook 9i rewrites all the rules.

Designer: Lenovo

The YogaBook 9i is the world’s first full-size dual-screen laptop. Its format may seem vaguely familiar if you’ve come across Microsoft’s Surface Duo, but the YogaBook 9i is bigger and better, and with an arguably more well-outlined UX. At 14 inches, the two screens make more sense being split apart the way they are. They’re big enough to be viewed independently, and when used together, you’re more likely to run split-screen multitasking rather than watch a large video on it with the bezel running through the middle. In that regard, the YogaBook 9i is a multitasking beast, with the ability to work as both a laptop and a tablet, and occasionally even a book… all of them in both landscape and portrait formats.

The device is a collaborative effort between Lenovo and Microsoft, who helped create the perfect Windows experience for two screens. The two screens, 4K and 2.8K respectively, run 60Hz and are designed to be touch-responsive and work with the stylus. A Bluetooth keyboard becomes the perfect add-on accessory, giving you the ability to use the YogaBook 9i as a laptop or desktop, should you choose.

The laptop’s contortionist design gives it a variety of use-cases. You can rest the keyboard on the lower screen and use it as a traditional laptop, or separate the keyboard for a split-screen work machine. The screens can be propped up at an angle for added adjustability, or flipped vertically for a unique portrait-mode split-screen format. When presenting to someone like a client, the display can be rested in ‘tent mode’ to display a slide presentation on one screen while viewing and controlling the presentation from the second screen.

As impressive as the dual-display setup is, the YogaBook 9i is also made to be a tough, capable machine. It’s built on the Intel Evo platform and runs Windows 11, offering unique dual-screen touch-sensitive functionality that may just be the first ever from a non-Microsoft company. The YogaBook 9i has a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 chip on the inside, with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. The laptop’s 360° rotating hinge also doubles up as a soundbar with Bowers & Wilkins audio drivers for a rich, immersive audio experience. Each YogaBook comes with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard and a companion stylus. The hybrid laptop will be available in a rich, eye-catching Tidal Teal with a starting price of $2099.99, and will ship in eco-conscious packaging featuring cushion materials, a gift box, and an outer box all made from 100% recycled paper starting June 2023.

Of course, you’ll need to pair a high-end monitor to this setup and Lenovo has got that covered too with the 27-inch Lenovo Legion Y27qf-30 (QHD 2560×1440 resolution at 240Hz refresh rate) and Lenovo Legion Y27f-30 (1920×1080 resolution at 240Hz refresh rate) monitors. Lenovo goes beyond computing with Tab Extreme, Smart Paper, and Project Chronos at CES 2023

We’ve seen plenty of new laptops and desktops so far at CES 2023, especially since silicon giants Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA have all announced their newest, shiniest, and most powerful processors to date. While these cover the majority of computing needs, especially gaming, they aren’t the only personal computers available to us today. Thanks to advancements in technology, we have a variety of devices available today that make computing more mobile, more efficient, and even more personal. At CES 2023, Lenovo is showing off how it goes beyond regular computers with its most powerful tablet yet, a new e-Paper solution, and the next step in bringing mixed reality to your living room.

Designer: Lenovo

Lenovo Tab Extreme

There was a point in time when it seemed that tablets were on the way out. As smartphones became bigger, the need for tablets with big screens became almost pointless. Recently, however, the tablet has taken on a new mission as a true mobile computer, almost like a laptop replacement, and Lenovo is taking that to the extreme with its biggest and most powerful tablet yet, clearly designed for more than just watching videos.

Of course, it’s also a delight to do that on the Lenovo Tab Extreme, thanks to its spacious 14.5-inch 3K 120Hz OLED screen and eight high-performance JBL 4-channel speakers. The tablet shines brightest, however, when used for more than just consumption but also for creation, whether it’s a work of art or a work document. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000, 12GB of RAM, and Android 13 all work together to deliver this productivity experience on the go, and the gigantic 12,300mAh battery ensures you’ll have as little downtime as possible.

Beyond just the specs, the Lenovo Tab Extreme is designed to be flexible and stylish in any situation. A magnetic dual-mode stand makes it convenient to prop up the tablet horizontally or vertically, while the optional dual-hinge keyboard lifts it up for a more ergonomic position while you type your next great novel. The tablet can even be used as a digital sketchpad by plugging it in via its DP-in USB-C port or as a second monitor through the DP-out port. The Lenovo Tab Extreme will be available later this year with a starting price of $1,199.99.

Lenovo Smart Paper

Not everyone needs a full-blown tablet, though. There are some who just need the digital equivalent of a notebook, one that blends the conveniences of mobile tech with the universality of pen and paper. Fortunately, there is a new breed of devices that promise exactly that, and the new Lenovo Smart Paper takes the lead in combining digital and analog in a smart and meaningful way.

Powered by a 10.3-inch E-Ink display, the Lenovo Smart Paper presents the perfect size for a paper notebook, one that does away with wasteful paper without giving up on the experience of using a pen. It’s all digital, of course, but the feeling and texture of guiding the Smart Paper Pen over the e-Paper display are as close as you can get to the real thing. And like a normal pen or pencil, you don’t need to worry about batteries or charging the pen as well.

The device is specifically designed to make taking notes not only enjoyable but also efficient. With two integrated microphones, you can record a meeting or lecture while you’re scribbling down notes. And when it’s time to review those notes, simply select the written text to hear a playback of the recorded audio to help jog your memory. The Lenovo Smart Paper is expected to launch sometime this year for $399.99.

Lenovo Project Chronos

Most of the computing devices we have today come in the form of something we can touch, be it a laptop, a tablet, or a smartphone. The future of computing, however, might be less tangible. Buzzwords aside, the metaverse and mixed reality represent an inescapable future, but it’s a future that’s hindered by clunky headsets and devices. Lenovo is taking a plunge into this still-gestating market with an innovative concept device that removes the need to weigh your body down just so that you can move your virtual avatar.

Project Chronos is basically a box with a camera that can keep track of your body movement to control a virtual character, often your avatar. It uses advanced depth cameras and algorithms to recreate your movement within a 3D environment without having to wear glasses or mocap sensors. It can even track your facial expressions so that your avatar can truly express your emotions, just as your own body can sometimes betray you in the physical world.

Despite that seemingly magical capability, Project Chronos is designed for home use, and its simple and discreet design can easily blend with the rest of your entertainment system. You simply connect the box to a TV or monitor, and you’re good to go. And once you’re done, you can rotate the camera down to ensure your privacy. This gear-free mixed reality device opens a whole new world of applications, from creating content with a VTuber avatar to getting personalized real-time coaching from a fitness expert. The Lenovo Project Chronos, however, is still a concept and work in progress, and its full name and capabilities will be disclosed when it’s ready to launch.

Lenovo’s latest ‘ThinkBook Plus Twist’ takes the dual-screen laptop format and gives it 180° dynamism

Remember the ThinkPad Twist from 2012? It’s back in a bigger, badder, and better avatar.

Lenovo announced yet another addition to its ThinkBook Plus series that builds on the innovative line by introducing the ThinkBook Plus Twist, a dual-display hybrid laptop designed for SMB users. The ThinkBook Plus Twist comes with a traditional OLED display and a not-so-traditional color e-ink display on its back. The displays are connected to the base of the laptop by a 180° swivel hinge that lets you flip things over based on your need. The e-ink display also comes with tablet functionality and a stylus input, making it perhaps the most bizarrely beautiful versatile laptop from Lenovo in a decade!

Designer: Lenovo

Before we talk about the laptop’s specs, it’s important to realize who this laptop was designed for, and what it hopes to achieve. The laptop is a culmination of a lot of work on Lenovo’s part, following user feedback from prior ThinkBook Plus models. The e-ink display in the Plus Gen 2 was a great idea, and was therefore revived with the Twist, albeit with its own twist. The new e-ink display now measures 12 inches and comes with a 12Hz refresh rate and touch-glass. Right behind it sits a slightly larger 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED with touch capabilities too, although both displays have their own sets of merits. The OLED display serves as your primary monitor, allowing you to work, watch content, and browse the web. The e-ink display on the back, however, is for more relaxed viewing. It offers much less glare than the backlit OLED, giving you a comfortable experience that’s perfect for reading and even editing, thanks to stylus compatibility. The e-ink display also has a whopping 18-month battery life, so content displayed on it can be left intact for literal years.

What really unlocks the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist’s true potential is its ‘twist’ – the innovative hinge that connects the body and display units. The hinge lets you open and close your laptop, as well as swivel the screens up to 180°. This format lets you use both the OLED and e-ink display with the Plus Twist’s built-in keyboard or as a tablet when the laptop’s shut with the display of your choice facing outwards. Lenovo mentions that power users can toggle the e-ink display in either “typewriter” laptop mode or “e-paper” tablet mode
allowing them to easily draft, edit and proofread documents via the keyboard or the pen.

To finally address the ThinkBook Plus Twist’s specs, the laptop has Intel’s 13th Gen Core processors on the inside. You’ve got up to 16Gb of DDR5X RAM, and up to 1Tb of SSD storage on the device. The laptop sports 2 Thunderbolt USB-C ports along with a 3.5mm jack, and has Wi-Fi6 and Bluetooth 5.1 built-in along with fingerprint-unlock. There’s a 56Wh battery on the inside, although Lenovo hasn’t mentioned how much use time it gives the ThinkBook Twist Plus. You can rest assured knowing that the e-ink display has virtually negligible energy consumption, and will run for weeks and months even when your laptop battery’s on low power, giving you the ability to be productive even when the going gets tough. That’s the gist of the Twist! The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist will start at $1649 and is expected to be available starting June 2023.

Samsung Bespoke smart refrigerators helps you truly own your kitchen

Most people would probably claim their rooms or the living room as their headquarters inside a house, but those who love cooking or preparing meals for the family will lay claim to the kitchen as their kingdom. There is no shortage of kitchen appliances and products that are designed to help make people’s lives easier, but few among these are also designed to appeal to their personal aesthetic tastes. It’s easier to get that kind of more personalized touch when it comes to kitchen tools and utensils, not so much for large appliances that are mass-produced to cater to the general public. That’s where bespoke products come in, and Samsung’s latest line of smart refrigerators try to fill this niche with appliances that not only look smart but are also pretty smart internally as well.

Designer: Samsung

While many refrigerators already look stylish and, at times, luxurious, not everyone will have the same tastes in aesthetics. Even more varied are the kitchen designs that people try to make, designs that make many refrigerators and oven stick out like a sore thumb. Samsung’s Bespoke Home lineup has been giving homeowners more options to leave their visual imprint in their homes, and this year’s new members expand that roster with refrigerators that offer not only more flexibility but also more functionality.

It might still seem like a strange feature, but Samsung’s screen-toting Family Hub definitely has its fans. The new Bespoke 4-Door Flex with Family Hub+ supersizes that display to a large 32-inch Full HD screen, empowering experiences like a large canvas for family photos, a spacious dashboard for managing your smart home, and even a convenient screen for watching videos while you’re busy cooking.

The new Bespoke Side-by-Side and Bespoke Top-Mounted Freezer Refrigerators embrace the dominant minimalist design trend to seamlessly blend with the rest of your kitchen interior. Buyers can pick their preferred color or front panel materials, including glass and stainless steel, to truly personalize the appearance of this smart appliance. The Side-by-Side fridge features Samsung’s new Auto Open Door tech that conveniently releases the door with just a tap on the recessed handle.

The Samsung Bespoke Infinite Line Refrigerator offers a bit of modular flexibility, letting buyers choose from fridge, freezer, or wine cellar models. Whichever combination is chose, the bespoke fridge bears a timeless design that uses simple lines and hiqh-quality materials, bringing a touch of class to your kitchen. And to match is premium exterior appearance, the refrigerator’s interior is refined with Black Metal Cooling that creates a visual illusion of depth while helping keep food fresher at the same time.

Accompanying these new refrigerators is a Bespoke AI Oven whose minimalist design belies its intelligence. With an internal camera and a powerful AI, the oven can detect and alert you when food is about to be burned, though you could also just let the oven decide the cooking time and method depending on the dish inside. In addition to keeping the food inside safe, the oven also helps keep people safe with a Push to Open door that replaces the traditional handle that isn’t just safer to use but also looks more refined and more streamlined.

Acer brings new AMD Ryzen 7000 processors to its Nitro and Swift laptops at CES 2023

Acer unveiled a wide range of computers across many lines yesterday at CES 2023. There were plenty of laptops to go around, catering to a wide variety of audiences and carrying different designs. One thing that all these had in common was actually something that seemed to be oddly missing from the event. On the heels of that variety show, Acer is coming out with three new laptops that fill in the gaps, bringing AMD’s newest Ryzen processors to its flock, giving casual gamers as well as students and workers on-the-go with another option to meet their computing needs.

Designer: Acer

Intel has enjoyed the lion’s share of the CES 2023 floor, with its 13th-gen Core processors filling the roster of new laptops and desktops. Of course, it isn’t the only game in town, and AMD is not to be outdone. Leveraging the new Zen 4 CPU architecture, the new AMD Ryzen 7000 series brings improved performance and efficiency to cover the needs of gamers and content creators alike. And now this silicon is descending on Acer’s newest laptops as well, targeting the same wide variety of people who need a competitive computer they can take anywhere they go.

Acer Nitro 16 (AN16-41):

The Acer Nitro 16 brings the latest Ryzen 7000 series processors to a 16-inch laptop and pairs them with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 laptop graphics for a formidable combo that makes short work of most games and creative tools like Blender and Photoshop. With support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, owners can seamlessly switch between integrated graphics and discrete graphics without having to reboot and break their workflow. Together with its larger sibling, the Nitro 16 gets a 4-zone RGB Backlit keyboard that adds a bit of flair to your gaming or even just your typing.

Acer Nitro 17 (AN17-41):

The Acer Nitro 17 brings that same killer combo to a larger but still slim laptop, offering gamers a choice of 17.3-inch displays ranging from FHD with 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rates to higher-res QHD with 165Hz speeds. Its larger body has enough room for a massive touchpad that makes it easier to hit things when you aren’t using a mouse. Both the Acer Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 support up to 32GB of fast DDR5 5600 MHz memory and up to 2TB of M.2 PCIe Gen 4 storage. Given all the action happening inside, it’s only fitting that these laptops get Acer’s latest cooling tech, including four strategically-placed fan outlets and liquid metal thermal grease.

Not everyone is a gamer, and Acer hasn’t forgotten about this part of its crowd. With the Acer Swift Go 14, mobile workers, students, and practically everyone will have access to that same AMD Ryzen 7000 power in a thin, light, and very stylish laptop. The defined edges and structural lines accurately convey that image of swiftness, while eye-catching colors give the device a youthful and vibrant personality. The 14-inch 2.8K 90Hz screen will be suitable for most applications, and an all-day battery of up to 9.5 hours can support the workflows and needs of today’s more mobile workers.
