The Lambo-inspired Belt!

With a vision to uplift the mundane, designer Bryan Schultz set out to take ordinary products and transform them into eye-catching mechanical marvels. The result? The Fractal Belt, or what I would assume a belt would look like if it was designed by Lamborghini.

The Fractal Belt buckle’s angular design looks edgy, and authoritative. Pair it with full grain leather and you have a solid melange of tough leather and a brushed metal, both evoking a sense of raw power. The buckle works on a style/mechanism developed and patented by Bryan. It snaps easily in place, and opens with the press of a quick-release lever on the bottom. The buckle doesn’t allow the belt’s other end to pass through, but rather makes it tuck inwards, preventing an overhang, and making sure your belt looks seamless.

The belt is made from full-grain leather sourced from Milwaukee, and comes in four colors that complement the buckle perfectly. The buckle (in its eye-grabbing glory) is fully metal, and available in two styles, a full-distressed stone finish, or a half-stone half-jet black finish. It snaps onto a metal disc that rests inside the belt’s size-holes, making sure that the holes don’t get damaged from constant insertion and removal. You can even grab your hands on a special edition Fractal drawstring travel bag with a graphic that echoes the belt buckle’s edgy, chiseled style!

Holy Utility Belt Batman: Cache Belt Hides Over Two Dozen Survival Tools

At first glance, the Wazoo Cache Belt looks like an ordinary belt, but it is anything but. It is a utility belt that Batman himself would be envious of. It hides a bunch of survival tools right inside the band, making it perfect for emergency situations.

It holds more than two dozen survival tools on both the buckle and within the band. That is some serious utility. It comes in three versions: minimalist, essentials, and adventure, with all three using the exact same belt but packing the compartments with more tools. For minimalists, you can get just the belt with all its hidden pockets, two pull-out gear loops, and a bottle opener on the buckle. You can use the pockets for whatever you want to carry.

The essentials version adds fishing gear (hooks, line, and weights), a whistle, a needle, cordage, zip ties, duct tape, FAT packs, a fire-starter kit, a foldable water container, and purification tabs for your basic survival needs. The adventure set bundles all that with a pre-filter for the water, aluminum foil, a small ceramic knife, a small flashlight, trail markers, bandages, a compass, a signal mirror, and a brass wire. Sounds like all you will ever need.

You can reserve one starting at $20(USD) for an empty belt, ranging up to $95 for a fully-loaded one. I bet Batman has already reserved a few.

Clip ‘n’ Carry Poké Ball Belt Catches Your Pants

If you are really into Pokémon GO or were into Pokémon way before people were gathering in the local park to hunt for creatures, you will appreciate this belt. First and foremost, it does what a belt is meant to do – keep your pants up, but it also lets you catch Pokémon.

It comes with a pair of Poké Balls with belt clips and a pair of Pokémon figures. Each of the balls included with the belt have their own 2-inch action figures inside. The included balls feature Pikachu and another creature I can’t identify. The belt can hold up to six Poké Balls. Where you buy additional Poké Balls to fill up the belt is unclear. Maybe you have to hunt for them with your smartphone.

The belt will fit just about everyone out there with the ability to expand  up to 42-inches. Get yours at ThinkGeek for $24.99.

Fix Manufacturing Puts a Multi-tool in Your Belt Buckle

You can never have too many tools on you. But since we don’t have unlimited pockets, we can’t carry them all. Plus tools are heavy. That’s why multi-tools are so awesome. They let you carry an assortment of tools in a small space. Now, a company called Fix Manufacturing is offering some cool new multi-tools that fit in your belt buckle.

They are working on three different tool sets: Powder Pliers, Board Sword, and Wheelie Wrench. All three are designed to act like conventional buckles for holding up your pants, while doubling as a detachable multi-tool that you can take out and use when needed. Powder Pliers is a snowboard tool, combining three screwdrivers (#3, #2, and slotted), two box wrenches (8mm and 10mm), a 4mm hex bit, and an edge file.

DIY Cheap Batman Utility Belt: Holy Thrift Shop Batman!

Batman’s utility belt isn’t as cool as his mask or logo, but it’s an equally essential part of any Dark Knight costume. DIY Prop Shop shows us how you can make a replica of the belt out of only $9 (USD) worth of materials.

Host Odin Abbott based his belt on the one that’s on Michael Keaton’s Batman costume. The replica’s main materials are a tool belt and strips of craft foam, a strong adhesive such as contact cement, as well as some clear coat spray paint. You’ll also need a pair of steady hands because you’ll be doing a lot of cutting.
