The Bomb Pizza Is a Fiery Feast from Korea

This pizza is the bomb. Seriously, it’s called the Bomb Pizza and it gets its name from the way it is cooked. In this Italian restaurant in Seoul, South Korea, they have invented an entirely new way to cook, serve, and eat pizza.

They put uncooked (or maybe partially uncooked) pizza ingredients inside a bubble of dough. It doesn’t go in the oven after that. Instead, they pour oil over the top and light the whole thing on fire. The dough burns, cooking the insides with the heat that is generated.

When the fire goes out, the server cuts open the bubble with a pair of scissors and slices the bottom half. It looks hot, dangerous, and delicious.

3D Printed Fallout-inspired Mini Nuke: Microton Bomb

The folks at 3D printing store Redicubricks wanted to get their hands on the mini nuke storage case that came with the Fallout Anthology. But they didn’t want the other stuff that came with it – i.e. the games – so they designed and 3D printed their own mini nuke.

Redicubricks used Ultimaker 2 Go to print the bombs: one with a cutout and one that’s fully enclosed. As you can see they’re not just good at designing, they’re also pretty good at painting.

Redicubricks is considering releasing the mini nuke’s 3D files as well as some kind of kit, so keep an eye on their blog if you’re interested.

The storage case has a bomb sound effect and has room not only for the games that it comes with but for your inevitable copy of Fallout 4 as well.

The limited edition bundle costs $50 (USD); Bethesda’s online store is sold out but as of this writing Best Buy still has some copies up for grabs.

Bombs Away Shot Glasses: Get Bombed Tonight!

If you like to consume adult beverages of the type best served in a shot glass; ThinkGeek has a fun way for you to get bombed this weekend.

These shot glasses are in the shape of a bomb and have the radiation symbol in white on the side. Each of the shot glasses has a pop-off top that completes the bomb look. Once the top is popped off, you can drink.

The glasses are made from plastic and the fin-shaped base is made from metal. Each shot glass measures 1.8″ in diameter and stand 4.5″ tall with the cap on. Capacity is 1.5 fluid ounces each. You can’t wash these in the dishwasher or put them in the microwave – which coincidentally, you should never do with an actual bomb either.

So open the bomb bay doors and drop in to ThinkGeek, where you can pick up a set of Bombs Away Shot Glass for $14.99(USD).

Megaton Lamp Made from an Actual Bomb

This lamp is the bomb. Literally. It was created by Stockpile Designs of Brooklyn, NY, and is called the Megaton floor lamp. It uses the hand-polished casing of a Korean War-era 100-lb kinetic bomb and is seated 42 inches above the ground by a narrow stand instead of residing in a bomb bay ready to ruin someone’s day.

Its makers strip the old paint away and the steel is hand-polished until it gleams. Unlike the bomb in it’s explosive state, it is easy to disassemble. An optional linen shade hides the dual bulb sockets. The Megaton floor lamp will blow you away despite being disarmed, since it costs a crazy $1,680(USD).

I would suggest placing a Wile E. Coyote figure underneath, as if the Road Runner has gotten him again and he is about to get blown up.
