The Best Star Wars Swimwear

Everybody loves Star Wars! It’s one of the biggest franchises in history and of course it’s spawned all kinds of merchandise, from spin-off movies and TV shows, to countless toys and action figures, books, household items, and my favorite, clothing! There’s so much great Star Wars clothing out there and I’m here to share some of my favorite Star Wars swim suits!

I hope you love my picks, and always remember, there’s plenty more to look at!

Star War At-AT One Piece Swim Suit

This stylish one-piece is subtle and subdued, not overly flashy, but it’s understated appearance looks good at any pool or beach. The black At-At designs against the white backdrop make for a geeky yet still fashionable piece.

Star Wars BB-8 Boys Swim Trunks

The bright orange color is perfect for summer and it’s not too bright, as it contrasts with the dark blue background. BB-8 is a beloved, relative newcomer to the Star Wars series, at the cute little droid made his first appearance in Star Wars Episode 7. No wonder he’s already so popular, I mean, just look how adorable he is on these swim trunks!

Star Wars Ship Men’s Swim Trunks

I know these are the only swim trunks for adult men I’ve included, but they are the best I’ve found. The space ships are cool looking and any man wearing these will still feel fashionable without being too nerdy.

Star Wars C-3PO and R2-D2 One Piece Swim Suit

I love the print on this swimsuit! It looks like a scene straight out of the movies and it’s a beautiful image. Also, who can resist C-3PO and R2-D2? They are such a great duo!

Star Wars Logo Bikini

Okay, I know this is the only bikini on the entire list. I love bikinis, don’t get me wrong, but when looking for something to show off my love of Star Wars, most bikinis don’t have enough fabric to properly show off the love. (They’re better for showing off skin.) Anyway, I thought this bikini, with its simple Star Wars logo definitely shows off a proper amount of geekery.

Star Wars Stormtroopers Boys Swim Trunks

Blue is my favorite color, so of course I had to include these awesome swim trunks! The color is gorgeous and what little boy doesn’t want to wear a stormtrooper print? These trunks are seriously great!

Star Wars Retro Boys Swim Trunks

Technically, these trunks aren’t retro, but I’ve called them that as the design just looks so 70s inspired. It looks like a pair of swim trunks that a boy would be wearing at the pool right after watching the original Star Wars movie in 1977; just look at the images of Chewbacca and Darth Vader and the rest of the gang. I’m a huge fan of retro designs, so these swim trunks are a huge winner.

Star Wars R2-D2 One Piece Swim Suit

Can you say cute? I know R2-D2 seems to be on almost all Star Wars merch, but he’s just such a lovable character, not to mention how great he looks as a clothing design. I love this one-piece swim suit. It’s sexy and adorable at the same time.

Star Wars Darth Vader and Stormtrooper Toddler Swim Trunks

After so many boys swim trunks, it was about time to feature trunks meant for an even younger age. These cuties are for toddlers and your tiny tot will be sure to look like the coolest kid at the pool. Look at the cartoony versions of Darth and the stormtrooper, they just get my heart!

Star Wars Girls Tankini

After featuring so many women’s suits, it was time to show a girl’s swim suit. This tankini is adorable and will show off your future Princess Leia’s love of Star Wars. She will be the coolest princess on the sands of Tatooine.

Star Wars Darth Vader One Piece Swim Suit
This might be my favorite swim suit on the entire list. It’s definitely something I could see myself wearing. Darth Vader may be evil, but while wearing this suit, you’ll look evilly sexy.

Star Wars R2-D2 Long Sleeve Swim Suit

Long sleeve? Odd choice, you may be thinking, but if you’re planning to go surfing, this might be a good option. Or maybe you’re looking for something a bit more modest or something to help you cover up on an especially burning sunny day. Whatever the reason is, this swimsuit, once again featuring our friend R2-D2, is a great choice.

I hope you found something to wear for a great day at the beach or pool and to show off your love of the wonderful Star Wars!

Teach Your Kids the ABC’s with Star Wars: ABC-3PO

Teach your kids their ABCs in a fun way thanks to this new book called Star Wars: ABC-3PO. Now they will be learning the letters of the alphabet in the geekiest ways possible.

star_wars_abc_1zoom in

The book was written by Calliope Glass and Caitlin Kennedy and has illustrations by Katie Cook. This is probably the coolest way ever to introduce your kids to the alphabet while also introducing them to Star Wars characters at the same time.

Each letter is accompanied by a fun poem based on the character. K is for Kylo, R is for Rey, and W is for Wookiee. This book is as fun for kids as it is for adults. The illustrations are perfect too. I’m definitely getting this book. For myself. Even though I already know my ABCs.

Epson Star Wars Smart Canvas Watch: The E-ink Strikes Back

Smartwatches may be the next big thing, but in Japan Epson appears to be making a killing off of its Smart Canvas, a line of limited edition wristwatches with E-ink screens and licensed pop culture themes. Its latest collection is based on Star Wars, though surprisingly not on the upcoming The Force Awakens.

The watch comes in four variants, each with a different watch band and display graphics: Darth Vader, C-3PO, Stormtrooper and R2-D2.

They may not have apps or let you send your heartbeat as a message, but the watches do have different display modes. Story mode displays shots from the original trilogy along with the time:

Vehicle mode is pretty self-explanatory. The pair of Rebel watches will have the same graphics, and the same goes for the two Imperial watches.

Then there’s the more practical Time Display mode:

And finally there’s the portrait-oriented Desktop mode, which also shows the room temperature. The funny thing about this mode is that the character shown on the watch changes based on the temperature, so you may never see some of them. Like Vehicle mode, the graphics shown in Desktop mode differ for the Rebel and Imperial watches.

Epson is selling each watch for ¥25,000 (~$203 USD), which sounds crazy for a relatively simple wristwatch, until you find out how much the Snoopy variant costs.

R2-D2 and C-3PO Spice Shakers: These are the Spices You’re Looking For

Spices are the spice of life. I hate going to someone’s house for a cookout only to find out after the food comes off the grill that they are the sort of people who don’t season food. Hamburgers without seasoning don’t taste good to me. Hand me a steak with nothing on it and I’m not a happy camper.

Everyone likes a well-seasoned piece of meat. Also, you don’t have to put the seasonings out in their plain bottles from the store. No, you are too geeky for that. What you need is this set of R2-D2 and C3PO spice shakers.

Each holds a cup of whatever you want to put inside them and the pair will cost you $19.99(USD) at ThinkGeek.

3D Light FX Star Wars Wall Crashers: That’s No Moon, it’s a Nightlight!

Anyone who has kids knows that you will need a nightlight at some point. Why not make it a cool nightlight? 3D Light FX has debuted some sweet new Star Wars wall lights that include some of the most iconic characters and items from the franchise.

One of the coolest is the Death Star that appears to have crashed through the wall. It has lots of little lights, green giant laser, and its mid-section is brightly lit. It looks really cool.

Other available options include C3-PO’s head with glowing eyes, R2-D2 with a glowing projector, Yoda, Boba Fett, and Vader’s head smashing through the wall – which looks really great when you combine it with the glowing red light saber.

I’d have to buy the Death Star and Vader they are awesome. Keep an eye out on Target to order yours.

Tap into the force of Luck with Chris “muckychris” Milnes’ 3D printed geeky Budai statues, which swaps the jelly bellied deity’s head with characters from Star Wars and other sci-fi franchises.

As much as I love Groot and Rocket’s two for one deal, I think Palpatine is the only one that fits seamlessly into the monk’s body. That’s creepy. Chris sells the statues on his Etsy shop. They’re available in three sizes: $8 (USD) for 2″, $18 for 4″ and $28 for 6″.
