It’s not easy to display your cool Star Wars stuff. Your figures don’t really look good in those protective plastic bubbles and display cards just sitting there on a shelf. Even if you buy two of everything so you can display one, it’s still hard to make this stuff look good while on display. Well, Faraway Vintage is here to help.
They offer some unique themed displays, offering pieces of screen-used props, set decoration swatches, film location elements, vintage Kenner action figures, Micro Machines, original Topps trading cards, and first-run 35mm film. Each display is nicely put together and themed as a mini collection suitable for an art gallery or toy museum wall. I used to have all of these as a kid, except for the 35 film, so I would love to see some of these on my wall.
This all started as a personal project when creator Lloyd was looking for a way to show off his Star Wars collectibles and props in a neat way. So he made a few to start. Soon enough, other fans saw these and wanted some for themselves. They’re not cheap – at about $600 to $700 each, but they really are great way to display some Star Wars memorabilia in your home.

I wonder if talking about this design makes me veritable potty-mouth, but tech in the bathroom hasn’t seen much advancement since bathroom-selfies. The Magic is a toilet frame with some true magic in it. It embeds a wide variety of controls that allow you to work the lids and even UV purify the commode without having to touch it anywhere. Everything can be operated from a control panel on the side of the toilet frame. Just don’t forget to make sure you’ve washed your hands before running the controls. Especially if you’re a leftie!

Having been a writer at Yanko for over a year, I’ve seen my fair share of bicycle designs. Some classy and sober, some weirdly outlandish, but aesthetic nonetheless. The Sync bicycle however, is like nothing I’ve seen before. It doesn’t look unnatural, for one. It looks unique, but something about it feels right. The design takes inspiration from the biker’s seating posture, allowing the cycle frame to reflect the user’s body position. The result is a bike that has a powerful visual that almost makes you wonder why all bikes don’t look like this!
The Sync’s unique shape also allows it to absorb decent amounts of shock, while having a strong and sturdy build… but you’re probably not reading any of this because you can’t get your eyes off the bicycle!

It’s almost 2016 and furniture is more customizable than ever! But this really stops at the store. After you take it home, it simply is what it is. Dotdotdot.Frame is the exception! The design is a highly customizable furniture system with the footprint of only four centimeters, making it perfect for small spaces. It has 96 holes that hold a variety of 16 accessories to give the user access to billions of configurations. Unlike other furniture it evolves and grows with the owner and their needs. It’s made of solid ash and can be reconfigured without using any tools at any time of its lifecycle!

You probably re-upholster your furniture every other year. Change the cushions probably once every six months. The Frame chair doesn’t want you to be so neophobic. It’s made with upholstery that can be switched with the flick of your wrist. Just pull off the old stuff and put in the new. The colorful upholstery attaches to the chair via magnets, giving your seating device a lot of variety and swag!
