Don’t Feed LEGO Gizmo After Midnight

If you ever saw Gremlins, you know that Mogwai can be adorable. They can also be a bit mischievous. Take for example, this LEGO Gizmo who’s hiding away in his wooden box waiting to pop up and charm you with his big saucer eyes.

LEGO fanatic John Toulouse created this awesome build that’s sure to warm the heart of any ’80s kid. Just be sure to follow all three rules, or you could end up with gremlin chaos on your hands. That probably involves scattering millions of bricks on your floor, and stealing all your socks and shoes.

Dancing Plush Gizmo Won’t Eat After Midnight

Gremlins was one of those awesome ’80s movies that was both funny and a bit scary. I think every ’80s kid wanted their own Mogwai, even if you risked being killed by a green, slimy gremlin at some point.

This plush Gizmo reminds me a lot of that one I posted last month, but this one is much better, because it dances back and forth, and sings a little Mogwai song. The upside is if you get this one wet it won’t pop little baby gremlins out of its skin.

Power comes from a pair of AA batteries and you can get one from ThinkGeek for $29.99(USD). It’s hard to believe this movie is over 30 years old now. I’m surprised they haven’t tried to remake it with CGI gremlins already.

Gremlins and Gizmo Gargoyles: Let’s Hope it Doesn’t Rain

You probably weren’t aware that a little fifteenth century Roman Catholic church called Chapelle De Bethleem has a gremlin problem. The church is hidden in the forest about 20km away from Nantes France. Probably to keep from infesting others with the beasts. You see, the church is covered in these devious creatures.

The idea of gargoyles is to scare off intruders, while protecting those that they guard from any evil or harmful spirits. This church accomplishes this in a very geeky way. But it is protected by more than just evil gremlins, and cute and cuddly Gizmo.

This church also has an Alien protecting it, just in case. Who needs God when you have all of these geeky guardians?

Gizmo Mogwai Pumpkin: Don’t Feed It After Midnight

The Mogwai are pretty darn cute. That’s how they get you. They lure you in with their cuteness and then you end up giving them water and feeding them after midnight. Then all hell breaks lose when they turn into horrible little monsters.
mogwai pumpkin carving
That makes them perfect for Halloween. You have your cute Mogwai and your scary gremlin all wrapped up in one deceptive little animal. And so this pumpkin is perfect for Halloween. This Gremlins-inspired decoration comes from carver Trevor Grove over at villafanestudios, a man who knows how to make a super detailed pumpkin.

Don’t put this thing in front of your house. If it rains, it will get wet. And you know some kid is going to give it a Snickers bar after midnight.
