Star Wars R2-D2 Wallet: Astromoney Droid

This is the droid you are looking for when it comes to carrying cash and cards. Just think of your jeans as an X-Wing and dock this bad boy in your back pocket so he can help you navigate throughout the day.

This cool astromech wallet has plenty of room for your stuff: cash, cards ID. Even if you use a Jedi mind trick to keep Stormtroopers from needing your ID, you still need some credits for a drink at the cantina.

Just don’t show this to that guy at the bar. He hates droids. Like, really hates them. But oddly enough, doesn’t seem to mind all of the other scum and villainy… or even limbs flying everywhere.

Star Wars R2-D2 Heart Crossbody Bag: Droid Chic

Do you heart R2-D2? Of course you do. He is the best droid ever. Much better than BB-8! We all love this little droid. Well, this R2-D2 Heart Crossbody Bag is the perfect accessory for anyone looking to show their love for the astromech droid.

It will hold all of your important items, while looking completely awesome. It’s made of faux leather and has an adjustable shoulder strap. It screams that you heart Artoo! It might even hold some stolen plans if you know what I mean. Sadly, it doesn’t come equipped with a hologram that you can share with an old hermit, but you can’t have everything. I heart you R2!

Best of all, you won’t have to hunt down a sandcrawler and bargain with any shifty jawas for this R2 unit. It’s just $49.99(USD) over at ThinkGeek.

R2-D2 Pizza Wheel Slices, Beeps, and Boops

I really like pizza, and we bake it frequently around my house. If you like to make pizza too, you need a good pizza cutter. Sure you could go down to Walmart and get a plain pizza wheel for a few bucks, but why get a crappy one when you can get a Star Wars one?

The R2-D2 Pizza Cutter starts out with the standard spinning blade of pizza cutting. The handle is where the cool stuff is. It looks like R2, and has a cutout for a speaker in the base. That speaker makes R2-D2 boops and beeps as you slice up your pie. Sadly electronics in the handle mean you can’t just toss it in the dishwasher, and you need to handwash it.

You can grab yours over at ThinkGeek for just $9.99(USD).

The Best Star Wars Swimwear

Everybody loves Star Wars! It’s one of the biggest franchises in history and of course it’s spawned all kinds of merchandise, from spin-off movies and TV shows, to countless toys and action figures, books, household items, and my favorite, clothing! There’s so much great Star Wars clothing out there and I’m here to share some of my favorite Star Wars swim suits!

I hope you love my picks, and always remember, there’s plenty more to look at!

Star War At-AT One Piece Swim Suit

This stylish one-piece is subtle and subdued, not overly flashy, but it’s understated appearance looks good at any pool or beach. The black At-At designs against the white backdrop make for a geeky yet still fashionable piece.

Star Wars BB-8 Boys Swim Trunks

The bright orange color is perfect for summer and it’s not too bright, as it contrasts with the dark blue background. BB-8 is a beloved, relative newcomer to the Star Wars series, at the cute little droid made his first appearance in Star Wars Episode 7. No wonder he’s already so popular, I mean, just look how adorable he is on these swim trunks!

Star Wars Ship Men’s Swim Trunks

I know these are the only swim trunks for adult men I’ve included, but they are the best I’ve found. The space ships are cool looking and any man wearing these will still feel fashionable without being too nerdy.

Star Wars C-3PO and R2-D2 One Piece Swim Suit

I love the print on this swimsuit! It looks like a scene straight out of the movies and it’s a beautiful image. Also, who can resist C-3PO and R2-D2? They are such a great duo!

Star Wars Logo Bikini

Okay, I know this is the only bikini on the entire list. I love bikinis, don’t get me wrong, but when looking for something to show off my love of Star Wars, most bikinis don’t have enough fabric to properly show off the love. (They’re better for showing off skin.) Anyway, I thought this bikini, with its simple Star Wars logo definitely shows off a proper amount of geekery.

Star Wars Stormtroopers Boys Swim Trunks

Blue is my favorite color, so of course I had to include these awesome swim trunks! The color is gorgeous and what little boy doesn’t want to wear a stormtrooper print? These trunks are seriously great!

Star Wars Retro Boys Swim Trunks

Technically, these trunks aren’t retro, but I’ve called them that as the design just looks so 70s inspired. It looks like a pair of swim trunks that a boy would be wearing at the pool right after watching the original Star Wars movie in 1977; just look at the images of Chewbacca and Darth Vader and the rest of the gang. I’m a huge fan of retro designs, so these swim trunks are a huge winner.

Star Wars R2-D2 One Piece Swim Suit

Can you say cute? I know R2-D2 seems to be on almost all Star Wars merch, but he’s just such a lovable character, not to mention how great he looks as a clothing design. I love this one-piece swim suit. It’s sexy and adorable at the same time.

Star Wars Darth Vader and Stormtrooper Toddler Swim Trunks

After so many boys swim trunks, it was about time to feature trunks meant for an even younger age. These cuties are for toddlers and your tiny tot will be sure to look like the coolest kid at the pool. Look at the cartoony versions of Darth and the stormtrooper, they just get my heart!

Star Wars Girls Tankini

After featuring so many women’s suits, it was time to show a girl’s swim suit. This tankini is adorable and will show off your future Princess Leia’s love of Star Wars. She will be the coolest princess on the sands of Tatooine.

Star Wars Darth Vader One Piece Swim Suit
This might be my favorite swim suit on the entire list. It’s definitely something I could see myself wearing. Darth Vader may be evil, but while wearing this suit, you’ll look evilly sexy.

Star Wars R2-D2 Long Sleeve Swim Suit

Long sleeve? Odd choice, you may be thinking, but if you’re planning to go surfing, this might be a good option. Or maybe you’re looking for something a bit more modest or something to help you cover up on an especially burning sunny day. Whatever the reason is, this swimsuit, once again featuring our friend R2-D2, is a great choice.

I hope you found something to wear for a great day at the beach or pool and to show off your love of the wonderful Star Wars!

Star Wars R2-D2 Journal: The Notebook You’re Looking for

This R2-D2 journal is really the perfect way to smuggle plans for the Death Star. If you don’t have an R2 unit, this is the next best way to transport sensitive information. Sure, it isn’t digital, but if you get caught you can always tear the page out and eat it.

You can write anything down in this journal; your Star Wars fan fiction, some Star Wars art, cool story ideas, grocery lists, whatever. It looks just like R2-D2 and has an elastic strap to keep the journal closed so Imperials can’t see what’s inside. It also has a folder inside the back cover for any documents you are carrying.

It’s only $19.99(USD) from ThinkGeek – much cheaper than an actual astromech droid.

Star Wars Sandwich Shapers: Sandwich Wars

Why serve your sandwich on ordinary bread, when it can look like Darth Vader instead? Hey, I made an unintentional rhyme. Thanks to the guys at Japanese geek toy company Kotobukiya, we now have some fun Star Wars sandwich shapers!

Simply stick your ordinary bread and fillings between the plates of these sandwich molds, press them together, and you’ll get a delicious Star Wars sandwich in a pouch. It’s like a DIY Hot Pocket – but not hot. I’m guessing it’s best for stuff like peanut butter and jelly sammies for the little ones. Or maybe stuff ’em some with nutella, and then hand ’em over to me.

Amazon has R2-D2Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Millennium Falcon, and BB-8 versions, though for some mysterious reason the prices vary wildly from about $9 to $19(USD).

R2-D2 USB 3.0 Charging Hub: Power Droid

No single droid has proved to be as versatile as R2-D2. BB-8 has nothing on him. R2 has hacked into the Death Star Computer, rescued Luke by hiding a lightsaber in his body, carried the Death Star plans, and now R2 does another trick up his droid sleeves. He can now charge all of your devices.

This R2 unit has 4 USB 3.0 ports in the front, and he is guaranteed not to have a bad motivator. He also lights up and beeps and whistles when you plug him in or tap him on the head. Good boy, R2. Good boy!

We don’t have the technology to have real R2 units, but this one at least keeps all our gear charged up. It will have to do until we all have droids in our lives. Grab yours over at ThinkGeek for $59.99(USD).

Make a DIY Star Wars R2-D2 Steampunk Teapot: R2-D2-Steam2-T2

If you’ve ever wanted to build your very own R2-D2, this is a cool idea. Now you can learn how to build an R2 unit that doubles as a steampunk gentleman tea server. It turns out, it is surprisingly easy. And when he’s complete he looks surprisingly cool.

Check out this episode of the AWE me Artist Series, in which Marissa Deal demonstrates how to make a R2-D2 steampunk teapot that is cute as a button. One that actually makes a good hot cup of tea and will look great sitting on your kitchen counter.

We all need a droid butler that makes us tea and this one is absolutely perfect. Now all that’s missing is a steampunk C-3PO to give him a hard time.

Star Wars R2-D2 Tape Measure: R-Tool-D-Tool

This R2-D2 tape measure belongs in every X-Wing pilot’s tool kit. This versatile astromech droid is now an adorable tape measure. I’m not sure what units they use in a galaxy far, far away, but this tape measure uses inches and centimeters.

r2_d2_tape_measure_1
You can trust this droid for all of your measurement needs. BB-8 can’t do the job. R5-D4 can’t do it. I bet that fancy humanoid droid from Rogue One can’t do it either. R2-D2 really can do it all. He is still impressing us after all these years.r2_d2_tape_measure_2

r2_d2_tape_measure_3
You can find this droid over at ThinkGeek for $24.99(USD).
