Oblic Dropper is an immersion coffee brewer that’s designed with an angled silhouette and silicone covering for accurate pouring and coffee on the go.

If we can agree on one thing, it’s that there can never be enough coffee designs. From portable grinders to instant brewers, and from robotic coffee makers to smart espresso machines, designers are endlessly inspired by the thrill of a morning brew. Reinterpreting the classic coffee dripper through a portable, compact lens, industrial designer JenFu Yang conceptualized the Oblic Dropper, a handheld pour-over device ideal for bringing coffee with you on the go.

Following a similar build to conventional immersion coffee drippers, the Oblic Dropper allows users to brew pour-over sin record time across multiple coffee mugs. Equipped with an integrated stopper, transferring Oblic Dropper from one cup to the next can be a clean, seamless transition without any spillage.

Constructed from glass, Oblic Dropper comes with an angled silhouette that brings a modern touch to the traditional design. The angled silhouette of Oblic Dropper allows users to tilt the glass cup to make sure hot water can be poured all around the edges, making for the perfect pour-over.

Supporting the glass cup with silicone covering, the Oblic Dropper has a no-slip grip that keeps it in place on countertops and coffee mugs. The brewing mechanisms of Oblic Dropper screw into the silicone base covering and come with an internal infuser.

The internal infuser features tiny enough steep holes to catch any stray grinds so that each cup of coffee is as smooth and silky as the cup your go-to barista makes for you. Conceptualized in an array of different colors, users can pick their favorite to suit their taste and additional coffee accessories.

When evening rolls around and that itch for a cup of coffee comes, pour-overs are the perfect remedy. Designed to make coffee one cup at a time, pour-overs allow complete control over the brewing of your coffee right in the comfort of your kitchen. The coffee grounds fill about a quarter of the brew canister which are then poured over with hot water, giving you control over the flavor extraction and intensity.

Even the package makes the arrangement of X & Y’s components easy to understand. Introducing their take on the brewing system, Kurz Kurz Design unveiled their X & Y pour-over set, featuring a stainless steel gooseneck kettle and brewer coated in charcoal black and cobalt blue. Typically designed as a complete set, pour-over coffee makers are practical and chic additions to any kitchen counter. While we all want the trusted set our barista uses, finding our own at-home pour-over set could bring us even closer to that perfect cup of coffee.

X&Y comes in both charcoal black and cobalt blue. Developed in stainless steel, the gooseneck kettle and filter stand come complete with added thermal insulation from a banded construction. On top of that, a strip of cobalt blue-dyed leather comes with the package specifically designed to wrap around the gooseneck kettle’s handle, doubly ensuring a safe pour.

Kurz Kurz Design balances geometric angles with round glassware. The coffee mugs are constructed from glass and feature stainless steel grips. If the cobalt blue color accents are too poppy for your kitchen counter, Kurz Kurz Design developed a sleek, all-black color option with a brown leather strap for a more minimal and homey look.

Without any need for electrical power, pour-overs are accessible and practical. Geometric shapes fill out the majority of X & Y’s components, with a square filter, stand resting atop a cylindrical glass tumbler. In contrast to the durable stainless steel kettle and filter, the rest of X & Y’s components are constructed from glass, including the coffee mugs and tumbler, so you can watch with bated breath as your coffee pours from the filter into your mug, taking you into the night.

Anyone who loves coffee will know that making coffee brings you the same amount of joy that drinking coffee does. I am a coffee connoisseur (or a coffee addict as per my sister) and I have all sorts of equipment from an espresso machine to a french press so that I can choose the kind of brew I want to enjoy. One of them is a pour-over, it is a classic and trusted method which I love especially because this brewing process really heavily immerses you in the aroma as you slowly add the water – it is best for mornings because it will truly wake you up. That is exactly why I fell in love with the Eli Pour Over the second I saw it, it gave the set up a much-needed design upgrade!

Most of the pour-over coffee makers in the market focus on functionality rather than usability making it hard for beginners to make a perfect cup without knowing the techniques. That is where Eli comes in – it is a transformable, compact, and automatic pour-over coffee maker designed to make the brewing process easier and the taste more consistent. It is a brewing kit that divides the process into three phases – material preparation, brewing setup, and final brewing. Boil water and keep the grounds ready, then slide and lift the structure, followed by rotating it to lock the base – now you are ready to brew.

Waking up to the sound and smell of coffee brewing after just a tap of your fingers might sound like you’re still dreaming. However, Bubble Lab recently teamed up with Swift Creatives in order to turn that dream into reality with a robotic pour-over coffee machine called, Drip. The app-controlled, fully-automated pour-over coffee maker emerges from the countertop as the water dispenser folds directly above your cup or mug and after just a tap, the water stream matches the flow of the beans and adheres to your chosen recipe, resulting in the perfect pour-over, every time. Whether you’re a barista who could use some extra pairs of hands or someone who just loves coffee, this sleek take on the pour-over is sure to leave your mouth watering.

Drip’s modern, minimalist style pervades the design, all the way down to the core of the machine. Specifically designed to optimize counter space, Drip could be mistaken for a sink tap. But it’s more like an iceberg: the coffee maker’s slim body that makes the show possible rests just below the counter. The body provides the dispenser with tempered water ideal for a pour-over. Bubble Lab might believe that less is more, but folded inside of that simplicity is an intricacy devoted to celebrating the experience of coffee, providing an extra set of hands for overwhelmed baristas, and showcasing the side of coffee that’s sometimes overlooked: the artful and ritualistic nature that makes your nose wiggle with excitement and taste buds tingle with anticipation. Created by a bunch of people who absolutely loved brewing and consuming cups of coffee, the Pourigami was envisioned as a great way to carry your coffee-brewer with you. Big enough to brew one cup of coffee at a time, small enough to slip into your wallet when you’re done, and light enough to take practically anywhere, Pourigami is made of three uniquely shaped stainless-steel cards that measure just 2.4mm when stacked together. Open them out and dock them within each other and you’ve got yourself a pour-over coffee maker that rests on any cup, and can be used with any #2 size coffee filter. The Pourigami’s triangular shape makes it stable, and the stainless steel build is the perfect choice for its reliability food-grade nature and rustproof-ness.

Measuring at 5.1 inches x 2.5 inches, the Pourigami is a tad bit larger than your credit card, and was designed to fit right into your pocket. Designed to be carried everywhere, the Pourigami is for people who want to be able to get their coffee fix anywhere on the planet… because you’re less likely to find a Starbucks on an outdoor trail, and instant coffee is, well, it isn’t real coffee.

The Bold Looking Cold-brewer

There’s something innately calming and beautiful about the ATMOS. Not only does it make the brewing process feel easy, it makes the brewing process LOOK easy too. The fact that the entire product is just two bottles and an intermediary filter unit in an hourglass format feels easy on the eyes, and it’s fun to watch the water literally traverse from one bottle, through the coffee grounds, and into the other, tinted with the golden brown color we’ve known to love!

The ATMOS takes the components required in the pour over brewing process and simplifies them separately and as a whole too. The entire apparatus comes with three bottles (only two are needed for brewing) and a threaded interconnecting module made of stainless steel. The procedure of brewing is literally narrowed down to three steps… Fill, Tamp, and Flip. Each bottle is crafted out of borosilicate glass, with a capacity to store up to 5 espresso shots, and comes with a 28mm threaded neck, although the thread pattern is slightly different from the kind used in regular PET bottles. However, this means the bottles can be cleaned with any regular household bottle cleaner. The intermediary stainless steel (316 marine grade) component comes in two parts that fit together to form the core of ATMOS’s brewing unit, and separate for easy cleaning.

What’s beautiful about the ATMOS is its visual and functional simplicity. It separates the three steps into three zones, letting you fill water in one bottle, pack (tamp) your coffee grounds in the intermediary unit, and flip the apparatus to allow the brew to collect in the empty bottle below. You can adjust the intensity of the brew by changing the ratio of the coffee grounds to the water, while the resulting brew tastes markedly better than most immersion brewers, not just because of the cold brew process, but also because each water drop is made to pass through the coffee, gathering flavor along the way. The ATMOS is also much faster than traditional cold-brew coffee makers and the fact that its shape resembles an hourglass feels like a beautiful bit of visual irony, but at the same time adds a hypnotic beauty to the brewing process while also inspiring patience as you, mesmerised, watch the water travel from one receptacle to another, transforming in color, taste, and aroma along the way.

The ATMOS comes with three borosilicate bottles (with caps), along with the main Stainless Steel interconnecting body. The kit even packs a cleaning brush and a food-safe descaler sachet. Designed to look and feel familiar, the ATMOS has a transparency and an aesthetic that sits well on most tables and kitchen counters. Plus, with the ability to store your brew in two of the three bottles and use the brew for anything from the ever-popular espresso to the humble cappuccino, to even an odd espresso martini, the ATMOS makes cold-brewing an art that’s for every type of coffee lover. With the way the ATMOS looks, you won’t be addicted to just the caffeine, you’ll be addicted to the brewing process too!
