These Miniature Boss Chairs Give Action Figures a Place to Sit

Let’s face it, life as an action figure is hard. You just stand around all day, and occasionally somebody picks you up and bends your stiff joints to their whim. Their muscles have got to ache from all of that. What your action figures need is a place to rest after a long day’s work. These miniature boss chairs should do the trick.

These teensy office chairs from Jiaou Doll look just like the fancy ones in the executive offices at your work. But these ones are 1/6th scale, making them the perfect home for your larger, 12″ tall action figures. Each chair is impressively detailed, and is made from ABS, PVC and a little bit of metal.

All three are available from BigBadToyStore, and sell for $26.99 each. If you don’t think your action figure deserves something quite so nice, you could always get them some cheap folding chairs instead.

DIY Tiny Famicom Console: For Your ’80s-Themed Dollhouse

While the original Nintendo Entertainment System is pretty iconic here in the states, the Family Computer (aka “Famicom”) was where it was at in Japan back in the early 1980s. This classic gaming system is one that all serious Nintendo fans have in their collection. If you happen to be into miniatures, and classic Nintendo, you’ll definitely want to check this out.

This teensy Famicom was created by YouTuber HMS2, who makes all sorts of incredible miniatures, from tiny cups of ramen noodles, to crazy accurate little kitchen appliances. This model appears to be made primarily of cut out pieces of plastic board, carefully cut with an X-acto, carved, and then glued together.

Check out this impressive build in the video below:

Now if only it were actually playable with tiny replica cartridges made from MicroSD cards.

Life-Sized Dollhouse is Every Not-so-Little Girl’s Sort-of Dream House

When I was a kid, I used to be so jealous of my cousin who had more toys than I did. But mainly I was jealous of her humongous doll house that she wouldn’t let me play with. I have since gotten over my dollhouse-less childhood, but nothing brings up not-so-fond childhood memories than seeing images of this gigantic, life-sized dollhouse.

Life Size DollhouseAt first glance, I thought it was something someone pieced together using Photoshop, but this thing is actually real. It was created by Canadian sculptor Heather Benning, who took a ruined farmhouse and replaced one side of it with plexiglass.

Benning came across the farmhouse back in 2005 and probably got the idea to transform it into every little girl’s dream (play)house then. It took a long time to demolish certain parts and remodel the interior of the structure, but as you can see, her efforts were well worth it because her finished work looks amazing.
