Ewok Heels: The Force is With These Furry Footwear

Ewok Heels

There’s nothing cute or cuddly about Stormtroopers, but all the cuteness you’ll ever need can be found in Endor’s forests, where the Ewoks thrive. Those teddy-bear like creatures can melt the coldest of hearts–well, except for the likes of Darth Vader, that is–and now you can wear ‘em on your feet.

Not actual Ewoks, mind you, but Ewok-inspired heels that look oh-so-adorkable. They look comfy enough and are as furry as you would expect them to be. Not to worry though, as no actual Ewoks were harmed in the making of these shoes.

Ewok Tea Bag Tidy: It’s Tea-wok Time!

The next time you have tea, you can set the tea bag on this Tea-Wok tidy, so you don’t make a mess. It also makes a good spoon rest. This is great if you are working on an Ewok themed kitchen, complete with fire pit and roasting spit.

If that is your idea of fun, tea parties must be a real treat at your place. Two humans dressed as Ewoks, sitting across the table from each other, sipping tea and poking each other with sticks. Hey, I’m not judging. Jub-jub all you want, my furry friends.

Shih-tzu Ewok won’t Crush Your Head with Giant Logs, but May Leave Them on the Floor

Of all the characters in the original Star Wars trilogy, the Ewoks were my favorites. At the time, I didn’t realize how much they looked like dogs that walked around on their hind legs. if you need any more proof that the Ewok race is descendant from the mighty and fluffy Shih-tzu dog breed, here it is.

ewok terrier dog 620x620magnify

Somewhere in a city far, far away a geek has poked the head of his or her cute little shih-tzu through the side of a cardboard box with the body of an Ewok drawn on it. Epic dog photo taking ensued.

It’s almost worth buying a shih-tzu just so I can recreate this photo. It just wouldn’t be the same with my daughter’s Chihuahua poking her boney little head through the box. I sincerely hope this dog’s name is Wicket.

LEGO Star Wars Bobble Heads Don’t Bobble, but They Do Have Heads

I’m not sure what you call a bobble head that doesn’t bobble, but that is what these LEGO figures are. They were created by a LEGO master using the Force named Jose Carlos Fernandez. He is also known as LEGO-man-at-arms and Wolf-at-Arms, so clearly he can’t make up his mind.

He created the scout trooper complete with his speeder bike and a big-headed Ewok right after stealing the speeder bike.

For some reason the scout reminds me of Wall-E. I think it must be his eyes. The speeder bike scenes were always some of my favorite in the original three-film franchise. I think these would make for some popular LEGO sets and they should be official kits.

Do or Do Not Go to Dog Grooming School, There is No Try

I guess you could say that this bizarre Yoda dog getup is a sort of Star Wars mullet. He’s Jedi master up front, with an Ewok in the back. For some reason, he looks legit. I must travel to his doggy planet and learn the ways of the Force. Screw it, he probably just wants biscuits all day long.

Ren Netherland of Animal Photography took these photos. He travels across America every year to document the most extreme grooming competitions the world has to offer. He’s obviously seen some pretty weird stuff – like this Yoda dog.

This poor was shaved and colored to get his look just right. He also encountered some dogs dressed like Sesame Street characters and different Disney characters. That’s got to mess with their little doggy heads.

LEGO Releasing Ewok Village Set: LEG-ENDOR-Y

Ewoks. They aren’t quite Jar Jar but…Well, love them or hate them, they know how to deal with Imperials on their forest moon. LEGO is releasing The Ewok Village, a beautifully detailed 1,990 brick model complete with traps, hideouts, and even an elevating throne (for 3PO of course.). The set even comes with 16 minifigs so you can relive all your favorite Endor scenes.

There are also weapons included like a lightsaber, three blasters, two rifles, two spears, a bow and crossbow, and two staffs, so the Ewoks can poke things. This is one awesome set if you love Endor. It will retail for $249.99(USD) and coming this September at LEGO Stores and online at the LEGO Shop.

Ewok Hat: Yub Nub for Your Noggin

These days, most of us think of the Ewoks as cute and endearing little fellows, but I remember when Return of the Jedi came out, there was an uproar over the addition of these furry creatures to the Star Wars universe. In fact, I’ve long held the theory that George Lucas introduced Jar-Jar Binks so we would forget all about the Ewoks.

But if you’re on Team Ewok, here’s something you might want to buy to show your support.

ewok hat

This Ewok hat was created by textile artist Mary Gauvin, and is perfect for camouflaging your Jedi younglings when they first land on Endor to help destroy any newly-erected Imperial shield generators. As a bonus, it’ll also keep their heads warm on Hoth. It’s also the perfect gift  if you’re best friends with Warwick Davis.

Hop on your speeder bike and fly through the forest to Etsy if you want one.

Wicket Ewok Purse

Wicket is everyone’s favorite Ewok (right? are there even any other named ones?) Well it’s definitely Cat Penfold’s. When Cat saw this plain black purse, she instantly thought- I’ll make this into an Ewok Purse. And that’s why she’s cooler than me (also because she did this Jabba purse too). Here’s the backside:

I guess Ewoks don’t have much back. Anywho, it’s hand painted with flexible acrylic paint and sealed with an UV- protective gloss, so whether you’re in the clubs of Austin (whattup Austin!) or the jungles of Endor, this leather Prague purse will hold your crap like a little furry beast man.
