Now I’m no influencer (though I do churn out content as well), but I do know that their lives can be extremely chaotic and busy. Content creation, capturing engaging moments, creating proposals, attending meetings, and making themselves and their lives seem interesting and entertaining at all times seem like a handful. The pros have got these tasks underway, whereas the newbies are still stumbling through. But it doesn’t matter if you’ve been in the social media game for long or you’re a novice, everyone needs a couple of handy and trusty product designs to help them through their influencer life. So we’ve curated a collection of designs that influencers would swear by! Taking a leaf out of Apple’s success handbook, the DJI Mic is looking to attract vlogging, podcasting, and content creation individuals. The Apple association comes to my mind from the wireless charging case the microphone system comes in, which is similar to the AirPods or other wireless earbuds on the market.

Why is it noteworthy?

Connectivity to this useful gadget is going to be important, hence, it is compatible with USB-C, Lighting, or the trusted 3.5mm jack. Each one of the wireless mics weighing 30 grams has a battery life of 5.5 hours which can be further extended to a total of 25 hours which is quite impressive.

What we like

  • The red cherry on top is the 8GB of built-in storage in each of the clip-on mics, which equates to almost 14 hours of recording done at 24-bit/48 kHz quality

3. The Vlog 1

The Vlog 1 is a concept that combines a camera, a built-in gimbal for stability, a built-in microphone, and space for a bigger battery, and all in a portable and sturdy package. There are no attachments or things to plug in, so you can just go ahead and shoot and record whatever you want.

Why is it noteworthy?

If you’re used to using a traditional camera, the button controls here will seem very familiar. It uses an old-school knob to switch modes, so you won’t have to panic (or is that just me?) when you need to do something else while shooting. It has a built-in gimbal so you can shoot steadily, and the joystick lets you have control over the gyro movement when panning or tracking. And while you’re shooting your video, there’s a quick access button that will let you take pictures when needed.

  • The Vlog 1 has a built-in flashlight that gives a similar effect to what the ubiquitous ring lights bring

4. The Now Exposed Collection

The cameras featured in the Now Exposed collection each have a unique purpose. They use different lenses and exposure techniques to force the photographer to think differently about image composition. 7. The Slow Dance

Designed to be an art installation you can hang on a wall or place on a mantelpiece and stare at for hours, the Slow Dance lets you mount a variety of things within its magical frame, from feathers to flowers, to even interesting looking leaves. Switch it on, and the object within the frame begins fluttering in slow motion, without any external stimulus (you should really check out the video above). The illusion relies on two core components – a precisely engineered system within the Slow Dance’s frame, and your eye’s ability to see in 24 frames per second. The engineering lies in an electromagnet that causes the feather/flower/leaf to flutter away, and LED lighting built into the frame’s inner edge that strobes/flickers at a precisely calculated rate to make that chaotic flutter seem like slow-motion choreography.

The Oculus Go is the perfect dedicated VR headset if you want to begin working in VR but don’t want to break the bank. At a price that’s incredibly competitive, this untethered VR headset is brilliant. It doesn’t connect to a laptop or desktop, so not only is it completely wireless, you don’t need to own an expensive system too. It comes with in-built storage and a dedicated controller to browse through content.
