This transforming electric vehicle goes from a two-wheel e-bike into a self-balancing unicycle!

Titaa is a dual-purpose, electric vehicle that can transform from a two-wheel e-bike into a self-balancing unicycle.

Unicycles have a reputation for only being used in circuses and carnivals. While unicycle aficionados and hobbyists are surely out there, pedaling away, and without any circus credentials to their name, the one-wheeled bicycle isn’t typically the vehicle of choice for getting around a crowded city.

While riding manual unicycles might be too much of a learning curve for most, self-balancing, electric unicycles sound more like something we could all get behind. Titaa, a unicycle with just those sorts of mechanics, conceptualized by Husky Design is a dual-purpose, modular vehicle that can transform from a bicycle into a self-balancing unicycle.

Getting to know our cities through different modes of transportation brings us to sights and places we previously hadn’t known existed. Titaa is the type of electric bike you’d see zooming down the wooden planks of Santa Monica pier or up the cobblestone avenues of Paris.

In its full form, Titaa is an electric two-wheeler in the shape of a cargo bike. When riding Titaa as a two-wheeler, users sit upright on a curved, elevated seat rest that slopes down toward the bicycle’s set of foot pedals. There, users can rest their feet while the motor charges the e-bike ahead. Built into the rear-wheel component, Titaa runs on a battery-operated system that can be replaced and recharged near the vehicle’s foot pedals.

When users would like to take their shot at riding Titaa as a unicycle, the vehicle’s front-wheel and handlebar system dislodge from the rear-wheel and motor to reveal a motorized one-wheeler. Similar in appearance to single-wheel hoverboards, Titaa differs in that users have an optional seat rest if they choose to sit down while riding. Outfitted with a somatosensory control system, Titaa adapts to your body’s natural movements to remain balanced and respond in real-time to necessary braking.

When not in use, Titaa’s unicycle form can be handled and carried like a leaf blower or other handheld gardening tools.

Titaa brings a dual-purpose and modular design to city transportation.

This flipping cat bowl avoids food spillage wet + dry meals, and prevents whisker fatigue!

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this design was a cat standing in front of the bowl, it takes a long pause and says, “Welcome to my TailTalk!” – now you can’t unsee it so let’s ‘talk’ about it. TailTalk is a multifunctional pet bowl that happens to have won the Red Dot Award 2020 as well as the Good Design Award 2019, so it certainly solves a problem most pet owners face – food spillage.

The innovative bowl takes into account that the pets eat both dry + wet foods for their respective benefits, and this product serves the purpose of holding both instead of having two bowls. The design is intuitive for pets and their owners, both sides of the liner can be used by simply flipping it over. The shallow side holds the wet food and the deeper side is for dry food, this way it prevents odor and minimizes bacterial growth. Shallow depth is chosen for wet food because it contains the moisture and makes it easy to lap up the wet bits while the deeper bowl is chosen for dry food to avoid spilling of crumbs. Clean eating isn’t just limited to ingredients, to keep the space clean while pets enjoy their meal TailTalk has a gap between the inner and outer shell which works as an anti-overflow tank. I call this gap the food moat!

Another benefit of the cleverly crafted bowl is that it avoids whisker fatigue. Your cat’s whiskers are extremely sensitive and can become easily fatigued by unnecessary contact with things like the sides of bowls. So to prevent whisker fatigue, you should make sure your cat’s food bowls are low and shallow and her water dish is wide – exactly like TailTalk which also has a gap that further minimizes contact with the sides. The simple design is effective in avoiding food waste and keeping the space hygienic which is healthy for your pets too. It saves you cleaning effort and now there are very slim chances of your pet eating food scattered on the floor that could disrupt their digestion and lead to more cleaning for you.

A lamp designed to help you establish a healthy sleep routine!

Is the pandemic giving you sleepless nights? If you answer no, please email us and give us your wellness routine. If you answered yes, then this lamp was designed to treat your insomnia. This lamp was made so that you could associate it with more than just an illumination source, the designer wants you to look at this lamp as an appliance that can help you establish a healthy sleeping pattern along with its core function.

Sleep patterns change with exposure to light which has considerably increased during quarantine as we spend more time on our phones and laptops. This disturbs the body’s circadian rhythm and tricks it into being awake for longer hours even though it is dark outside. The first step is to reduce screen time, but that alone won’t make our body adapt to the change in light – so to be an additional aid, this lamp helps to create a sleepy-time ambiance gradually which mimics the natural light cycle outside so your body can adapt faster to the new routine.

There are recommended light levels for different pre-bedtime activities like watching TV, reading, meditating, etc. and you can adjust the lightness/darkness for them through this lamp so it helps you wind down easily and amplifies the impact of your bedtime routine. You can set a timer for when you want the light to go off and it will gradually decrease till shutdown time so the darkness is not abrupt – another small detail to get your circadian rhythm on track! The lamp is flexible so it can be used during the day as well like a desk lamp and the minimal design makes it a perfect fit for any interior style, especially a small space. Sleeping peacefully during a global pandemic is not the easiest thing, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and a smart one in your room to get you there.

A coffee grinder that fits your millennial interior aesthetic

My day only really starts once I have had my cup of coffee. To me, it is not a beverage but a life-juice that awakens my mind and my soul! Being a coffee enthusiast, I have a whole mini barista set up in my kitchen – the espresso machine, the steam wand, the tamper – all of it. But what most of us skip is the coffee grinder and it is truly a taste-altering step. This shaded coffee grinder by Husky Design will tempt you into making coffee the right way!

Coffee grinders add a whole new level of “fresh” to your beverage, there is a different quality that bubbles up when you grind whole beans and use it in your machine rather than pre-packaged grounds. Especially when the coffee grinder looks this sleek, how can you not want to get a machine just so that you get to use this grinder? It almost looks so smooth as if it was carved from one piece of glass. The minimal yet eye-catching bright button seamlessly fits into the lid which has a translucent top to give you a peek at your beans.

Unlike the usual black or grey coffee grinders, the gradient shades of this radiate a happy feeling and give the underrated gadget a colorful personality. For me personally, the whizzing sound of the coffee grinder also wakes me up, it is like a sound signal to my brain that we must start functioning which is then rewarded by the smell of fresh grounds. Take that extra step and grind your beans, you will love coffee even more (if that is still a possibility)!
