It has a speed dial on the top of the handle and a blending arm painted red to simulate a lightsaber blade. It’s an elegant weapon for a more civilised kitchen.

It will cost you $50(USD) and it’s gotta be better than any kitchen tool Kylo Ren would build. His would be all weird and fuzzy, slopping food all over the place. Then he would get mad and tear the kitchen apart, and everyone would go home hungry.

Lightsaber Wall Hooks Hang Your Jedi Robes

We all need somewhere to hang our hats, robes, or backpacks. If you’re a Star Wars geek, the best way to hang anything are these Star Wars Lightsaber wall hooks. You get a pair of them and it looks like the sabers have slashed into your wall.

One blade is blue and the other is red with hilts based on Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader sabers. They are light enough that they shouldn’t damage the walls too much.  The melting effects are simply stickers that attach over the top of the metal wall mounting plates, so they don’t actually burn holes in your wall.

Each pair sells for $24.99(USD) and they are available now from ThinkGeek.

Lightsaber Screwdrivers: Screw Wars

Your father Bob Villa wanted you to have these when you were old enough. They are an elegant weapon for a more civilized tool box. Thanks Obi-Norm-Abrams!

The people in the Star Wars universe wouldn’t survive a day without their droids. But you have to keep them running, so you need a good set of screwdrivers – something like these lightsaber screwdrivers.

The set will cost you $20(USD) from ThinkGeek. It includes two flathead drivers with Yoda and Darth Vader’s hilts as the handles, and a Phillips head screwdriver with Luke and Anakin’s lightsaber. Sadly, there is no star-shaped Torx driver.

You can’t fight with these, but you can fix a landspeeder and pop a restraining bolt off a droid.

Graflex Saber Hand-made Skywalker Lightsaber Calls to Us

Martin Beyer aka Graflex Saber is going to be very busy this year. He’s been working on an extremely detailed life-size replica of Anakin’s – and Luke’s and now Rey’s – lightsaber, and he recently showed off his second prototype on YouTube. Hold on to your speeders.

While the interior of Martin’s prototype is more cluttered than that of the sabers in the Star Wars universe, it’s still awesome how well he integrated the functional parts with the decorative ones. The pièce de résistance here is of course the crystal replica.

The craftsmanship is strong with this one. Martin isn’t selling his prototype – though of course everything has a price – but he will make more to sell. Keep an eye on his Facebook page for updates.

Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber Hilt: Get a Grip

Kylo Ren’s unusual lightsaber is so popular, we saw fan-made replicas of the weapon more than a year before Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out. Now that the movie has been released and more reference materials have surfaced we’ll see more accurate third-party replicas, such as this hilt from Etsy store Steam Sailor.

Steam Sailor proprietor Michael Tinson 3D prints and hand-paints each hilt. He says the latter alone takes him up to 5 hours, and apparently it’s a huge hit, so your order may take a while. Michael sells a ready-to-assemble kit for about $46 (USD) and a fully assembled hilt for around $83. He also has the lightsaber’s end cap, as well as a compatible belt clip and a replica of Kylo Ren’s belt buckle.

Levitating Light Saber Fountain Pen Costs More than a Car

We have seen Star Wars pens in the past, but those were nothing compared to this high-end fountain pen. This fancy thing fountain pen that looks like a lightsaber, and it levitates while stored. It is awesome and terrible at the same time.

The only Force at work here is magnetism levitating the pen, which is designed to look like Yoda’s lightsaber. Part of what makes it so special is the 2-carat green topaz used on the tip .Other than the topaz, metals like palladium and rhodium were used in its construction.

Only eight of these were made and they have a price of about $25,000 each. You could buy a nice car for that amount of money. If you are among the well-heeled, you can buy one at wheelersluxurygifts.com.

DIY 7W Laser Lightsaber: The Force Ablindens

Laser enthusiast Styropyro saw Allen Pan’s blowtorch lightsaber and decided to outshine it by making his own energy blade. It’s as scary as you think.

diy_7w_laser_lightsaber_by_styropyro_1zoom in

Styropyro used a Nichia Gallium (III) Nitride laser to make his lightsaber. He didn’t say what the laser’s original power output was, just that he increased it to 7W using a pair of buck drivers in parallel. While we’ve seen him handle a 40W laser before, but this one is no joke either.

In case you didn’t catch that, he said he’s going to make a 160W laser bazooka. May your eyesight always be with you dude.

Star Wars Inspired Darth Vader Motorcycle, Lightsaber Included

Star Wars Themed Motorcycle

The Russian motorcycle manufacturers Ural came up with a limited-edition model inspired by the Star Wars saga which is quite the ideal means of transportation for a Sith Lord, or someone who really loves the popular science-fiction universe.

Since the seventh episode, – The Force Awakens, came out ten years after the last one, this event needed to be properly celebrated and Ural came up with a wonderful idea.  At the price of $15,000, these are quite a great deal, especially when you consider that there are only 25 models made, so it’s an amazing collector’s dream.

The motorcycle has a 2.9 cubic feet waterproof trunk for your belongings and a sidecar for your travelling companion, either a humanoid, wookie or a droid. The most impressive thing about it comes with a lightsaber ready at your disposal and a special place to hold it. The extendable 3’ Lightsaber is mounted to the sidecar and thus within your grasp in just a few seconds.

When it comes to the technical features, the Dark Force motorcycle has a 749cc two cylinder engine that is air-cooled and has an output of 41 horsepower. The gearbox provides four forward gears and a reverse and there are 42 pound-feet of torque. These specifications lead to a top speed of around 70 mph or 113 km/h, more than enough for any urban needs as well as for trips through the countryside.

The chassis has a front IMZ leading link fork suspension and a double sided swing-arm with Sachs hydraulic spring shock absorbers in the rear, while the sidecar features a similar swing arm and all of them are adjustable. The fuel tank has a capacity of 5.0 gallons with an estimated fuel economy of 31-37 mpg at the cruising speed of 70 mph.

IMZ-Ural was founded in 1941 and since 1998 they aren’t a state company anymore, so they adapted to the market with original ideas such as the 2013 Gaucho Rambler which was also a limited edition built for long roads and with a retro design that they described as a “wistful homage to a past age”. The Dark Force continues their legacy with a motorcycle that Darth Vader himself would take pride in.

They offer several upgrades included such as the high visibility LED headlight, the black ceramic coated exhaust and black engine as well as the enduro bench seat that allows a third passenger to have room on the motorcycle. The warranty you get is for two years with unlimited mileage but if you have some experience with Russian motorcycles you probably know that they are sturdy and last a long time.

The price excludes taxes, license, registration, delivery, set-up and other options which you might want. Since the edition is so limited you will have to reserve yours in advance to have a chance of actually owning one and you can do this here. Even if you aren’t the biggest Star Wars fan it is still a really great motorcycle, but with so few available everyone will admire you if you manage to join the dark side.
