Need for Speed: Santa Edition

Ten days back, the entire world was celebrating Christmas. Designer Nikos Manafis, was up to something a little out of the box. He was pimping ol’ Saint Nick’s ride. Yes, that’s what we call him now… Saint Nick and his hover-sled.

This absolutely mental sled seems perfect for a man who needs to cover the entire world in a single day delivering gifts. And since he’s been doing this for centuries now, he really deserves the upgrade, don’t you think?!

Boston Dynamics Wishes Us a Terrifying, Robot-filled Christmas

Boston Dynamics has given us a nightmare before Christmas by releasing a video of three of its creepy-ass trotting robots. The only way this video could be more terrifying is if Hector from Saturn 3 was in the sleigh wearing Santa’s head and capturing all the hot blondes.

The robots in the video are called “Spot” bots, and are a smaller version of the BigDog robots that we have seen before. The trio of bots pulls the sleigh along quite nicely – though it appears that the front two robots aren’t actually tethered together, and just leading the pack.

I might like to see Daryl replace his lost motorcycle with this setup in the next season of The Walking Dead. Check out the video and prepared to be creeped out.

Jolly Tracker forces holiday cheer with a shock to the face

The holiday season is supposed to be a happy time. But lets be honest, between the stress of picking out gifts, racking up credit card debt you can't afford and being forced to spend time time with your creepy uncle there isn't a lot to smile about....

Skyrim Santa to Deliver Gifts to Every NPC in the Game

Well, it’s Christmas Eve and anyone with kids knows what that means: children bouncing off the walls and waiting for Santa to come see them tonight. Santa is also coming to all the good girls and boy of Skyrim, specifically the NPC characters.

PC Gamer has made a Santa character who rides a big reindeer with a glowing red nose. You know the most famous reindeer of all. In the game Santa is called “Krys Krynn-Gul,” and he is using some magic like door unlocking spells to get access to NPC abodes and leave gifts behind.

Skyrim Claus says: “Next, I mull over my gift options. It would be in keeping with tradition to actually craft the presents, but I don’t want to spend hours standing at a forge, and I don’t have an army of unpaid elves to do it for me. So, I rush around to every store in Skyrim, buying the best in armor, weapons, clothing, potions, ingots, and jewelry. I also acquire some charcoal in case I come across anyone naughty. Naturally, to carry all this loot I need to increase my carryweight (‘player.setav carryweight 10000′ oughta do it).”
