Nixon x Star Wars Boba Fett Backpack: Journeyman Packtector

Watchmaker Nixon recently launched a collection based on Star Wars villains. Naturally the bulk of the collection are wristwatches, but I think the best of the lot is the A-10, a backpack based on the interstellar gunslinger Boba Fett.

The bag is about 20″ tall and has a large main compartment, two front pockets with waterproof zippers, a side-loading laptop compartment, mesh side pockets and a base compartment. It’s not visible in these photos but apparently one of the inner pockets has a Han Solo zipper pull.

You can get the A-10 backpack from Nixon for $175 (USD). Jets not included.

Boba Fett Wood Burning Stove: Fett’s Afire

UK metal designer Burned by Design created this super cool Boba Fett wood burning stove. Maybe I should say super hot. This stove looks amazing, like a statue to our favorite bounty hunter that was erected in his honor.

boba_fett_stove_1zoom in

Believe it or not, this creation was power-welded, cleaned, and painted all in one day. This stove is a beautiful work of art and a fitting tribute to our favorite bounty hunter. I always knew that Boba Fett had a fire inside.

Unlike Boba Fett himself, who is more likely to put you in carbonite and take you to Jabba The Hutt, this stove will keep you warm on a chilly evening.

Tamashi Nations Ronin Samurai Boba Fett Action Figure

Get ready for the coolest Boba Fett action figure ever. This Ronin Samurai bounty hunter is the latest figure to join the Bandai Star Wars Tamashii Nations Movie Realization figure line.

boba_fett_ronin_figure_1zoom in

This Ronin Samurai Boba Fett was sculpted by artists Takeyuki Takeya and Junichi Taniguchi. Look at that armor. And those colors. This may be my new favorite action figure. Boba’s EE-3 rifle has been turned into a flint-lock style blaster and the missile on his back can be removed or re-attached. Also, that helmet-mounted scope is movable.

Lastly there’s the short ninja-style sword and sheath, as well as several ninja-style blade accessories that can be attached to his shin and forearms. I need this figure. It will release in January 2016, but you can pre-order it now for $89.99(USD).

Boba Fett Backpack Has No Jets

This cool Boba Fett backpack will let you carry your books, tablet, and all the rest of your stuff in style. Others will think that you have some thermal detonators, spare bits of armor and a large bounty inside.

boba_fett_backpack_1zoom in

This Star Wars Boba Fett backpack has a hard shell, like Boba Fett himself, which makes it look like you are wearing his actual oversized helmet on your back. Which you are. That hard shell will protect the stuff inside. It is spacious like a sarlacc pit, but without all the digestive acid.

This is the perfect backpack for fans of the greatest bounty hunter of all time. Boba’s got your back!

3D Light FX Star Wars Wall Crashers: That’s No Moon, it’s a Nightlight!

Anyone who has kids knows that you will need a nightlight at some point. Why not make it a cool nightlight? 3D Light FX has debuted some sweet new Star Wars wall lights that include some of the most iconic characters and items from the franchise.

death_star_wall_crasher_1zoom in

One of the coolest is the Death Star that appears to have crashed through the wall. It has lots of little lights, green giant laser, and its mid-section is brightly lit. It looks really cool.

Other available options include C3-PO’s head with glowing eyes, R2-D2 with a glowing projector, Yoda, Boba Fett, and Vader’s head smashing through the wall – which looks really great when you combine it with the glowing red light saber.

Adult Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett Star Wars Underoos

I remember Underoos from when I was a kid. They’re underwear that’s fun to wear! Pretty comfy too.

I had no idea Underoos were back – or that they had Star Wars versions. Awesome! Time to run around in my underwear pretending I’m Boba Fett. Look out for the Sarlacc pit! You can now get adult underoos in Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett versions.

star_wars_underoos_1zoom in

The Luke set is really just an X-Wing pilot’s suit, which is strange. They should have just called it Rebel pilot. On the other hand, the Fett set actually looks like Boba. The only problem I see with the Boba Fett set is that, there’s no good place to hide a thermal detonator unless you get really creative.

Still, Star Wars Underoos! Yeah.

Geeky Tea Bags: Thank Goodness Master Chief Isn’t in Here

Don’t worry, I’m not saying you should have Xbox Live for breakfast. Etsy store Big Nerd Wolf is selling actual tea that has geeky characters as tea hangers. Although they do look like they’re immersing their… lower extremities in your drink.

LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia to Include Boba Fett Proto Minifig

I’m not such a super fan of Star Wars today as I was back in the ’80s when I was young. I had all the stuff back then, all the toys, action figures, bedding, and pretty much anything else that had Star Wars on it. If you are still a big fan today, there is still plenty of cool stuff to go around.

boba-fett-2zoom in

One of the things out there now that I didn’t have in the ’80s is LEGO Star Wars. DK Publishing is readying a new edition of the LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, which includes images of all the minifigs that are in the LEGO Star Wars universe for you to see in one place.

boba-fett-5zoom in

boba-fett-4zoom in

The coolest part is if you buy the encyclopedia, you’ll get an exclusive minifig. Said minifig is Proto Boba Fett.

boba-fett-1zoom in

Apparently, in some of the early test footage, Boba Fett was wearing all white armor. Whatever the reason, the white Fett is pretty awesome and will probably help sell lots of books.

The updated book drops on April 28, 2015 and you can pre-order it over on Amazon now for just under $12(USD).

LEGO MOC Imagines Boba Fett’s Escape from the Sarlacc: When Boba Met Jawas

There’s no official story on how Boba Fett escaped from the sarlacc near Jabba’s Palace. For one of its contests, TechLug asked members to explain the bounty hunter’s miraculous escape using LEGO. Daniel Stoeffler responded with this large and detailed diorama, which he calls the Sarlacc’s Nectar, or the Dark Side of the Sarlacc.

lego_sarlacc_jawa_diorama_Daniel_Stoeffler_1zoom in

Daniel explained his take on Boba’s escape in Eurobricks. It starts at the bottom, with Boba lying inside the sarlacc’s stomach. In Daniel’s tale, the sarlacc was injured by a piece of metal buried in the sand, causing a man-sized wound in one of its stomachs. Boba fell in that stomach and into the wound…

lego_sarlacc_jawa_diorama_Daniel_Stoeffler_2zoom in

…which, as it turns out, is connected to a Jawa distillery! A clan of Jawas have been secretly collecting the sarlacc’s digestive juice for generations. They turned the sarlacc’s stomach acid into an ingredient to make a drink known as Jawa juice or Nectar of the Sarlacc. Gross, but apparently, the beverage is a hit all over the galaxy. Now back to Boba. He fell into the vat where the clan collected the digestive juice.

lego_sarlacc_jawa_diorama_Daniel_Stoeffler_3zoom in

lego_sarlacc_jawa_diorama_Daniel_Stoeffler_4zoom in

The startled Jawa fished Boba out of their vat and nursed him back to health.

lego_sarlacc_jawa_diorama_Daniel_Stoeffler_5zoom in

lego_sarlacc_jawa_diorama_Daniel_Stoeffler_6zoom in

Eventually Boba recovered and even helped out in the distillery.

lego_sarlacc_jawa_diorama_Daniel_Stoeffler_7zoom in

Recognizing Boba Fett’s armor, the clan’s leader thought it would be nice to have the famous bounty hunter owe them a huge favor. When he was fully recovered, Boba was allowed to use the Jawa’s secret exit, on the condition that he keep the distillery to himself.

The end! Neat huh? Head to Daniel’s Flickr page to see more images of his imaginative diorama.
