Avengers x Gillette Razors: The Best a Geek Can Get
In what seems like a belated April Fools’ cross-promotion, Marvel and Gillette made four concepts for funny super-powered razors based on Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor. Iron Man’s razor is the only one that you can arguably call practical, but all of them will probably kill you. I still wish they were real though.
Gillette is promoting a new kind of razor called the Fusion ProGlide, while Marvel is of course hyping up Avengers: Age of Ultron.
They should at least consider making replicas. I bet those would sell.

Make Your Own Captain America Shield Fan
Let’s say you are dressed up like Captain America, however you lack the Cap’s cool shield. What can you do? Don’t fret. First, do you have a fan? Good. You’ll need one. This project could not be simpler.
This crafting project makes good use of what a fan looks like when it’s spinning. All you have to do is apply paint in the right spots and you have yourself a Captain America shield. Make sure that you consult Nick Fury first. Why? Because your fan needs a shield. For safety.
Now that you have your Captain America shield spinning. Step behind it as if you are holding it and take an awesome pic. You look cool and will stay cool.

This Superhero Banana Bread Looks MARVELous
I can think of no better way to celebrate your passion for Marvel’s superheroes than to make some tasty baked goodies in their form. That’s exactly what Flickr contributor Cindy Li did when she baked up this batch of delicious looking banana bread, baked in the shapes of Thor, Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Wolverine:
These are truly bananas, Cindy. Great job!
Geeky Jerseys: Cross-Clique Clothing
We’ve featured Dave Delisle’s geeky hockey jerseys a couple of times. It turns out he’s spun off his designs into a separate store, which he simply named Geeky Jerseys. The store sells limited edition hockey or baseball jerseys with themes inspired by video games, movies and tv shows.
As of this writing the Captain America and Batman hockey jerseys are the only ones fully stocked. The ones below only have a few units left:
The ones below and many more are already out of stock, but Geeky Jerseys will make more of them if enough people state their interest (the demand is gauged per design):
Head to Geeky Jerseys to order. The jerseys typically cost $99 (USD) or $105 each. You can customize the name and number of your order.

Marvel Superhero Rechargeable Speakers: Hulk Smash Eardrums!
Fans of Marvel superheroes who want to take their favorite character with them on the road and jam out of their favorite tunes at the same time will want to check out these Marvel Rechargeable speakers that are at ThinkGeek. The speakers have cartoon bodies and the face of the hero is printed on the speaker grille.
There are three characters including Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America. Captain America is definitely the lamest of the three, if you ask me. Hulk and Iron Man both have more substantial arms and poses while Captain America only has his shield attached to the side.
They are rechargeable for listening on the go, and the battery is good for about ten hours per charge. However, they need a 3.5mm input for music since they don’t have Bluetooth. You can get any of the three designs right now at ThinkGeek for $24.99(USD).
