I Am Vader Button-up Shirt: The Dressy Side of the Force

I pretty much live in t-shirts and Polos with three buttons and a collar. These items don’t really require ironing. If you have to dress up, you need a shirt with a collar that buttons all the way up. That doesn’t mean it has to be all serious and and monochromatic though. If your dad has to wear button-ups to work, this I am Vader Short Sleeve Button-up shirt is just the ticket.

It has buttons and a collar so it’s dressy and stuff. It also has print that makes it look like Darth Vader’s armor, making it all geeky and cool. You can get the shirt all the way up to 3x size so there should be a size to fit your pops.

The shirt is available on ThinkGeek right now for $59.99(USD). You might get it in time for Father’s Day if you order right now; it’s perfect for the empire’s best dad.

I’m sure talented cosplayers can make more stylish and accurate versions of the Bombshells’ costumes, but these aren’t that bad. You can order them now from Hot Topic; prices range from $20 to $75(USD).

Boba Fett Hawaiian Shirt: For Mandalorian Beach Vacations

I have long held a theory that when a man reaches a certain age, they receive gold chains and Hawaiian shirts in the mail along with their AARP cards and Medicare information. As far as I can tell, the Hawaiian shirt is the international uniform of the elderly retired set. If you have to age and that aging process includes tacky shirts, at least you can go with this Boba Fett design.

It has Fett’s helmet on it, the Mandalorian symbol and his Slave 1 ship. I had Boba Fett’s ship toy growing up, and I always thought that it flew wrong in the films. Why would it fly so that anything inside would be on the wall rather than on the floor? That made no sense to me then, and still doesn’t.

Regardless, you can get one of these shirts at ThinkGeek for $49.99(USD).

Pizza Pocket Shirt: For Thin Crust Only

So you just bought yourself a slice of pepperoni and you get an urgent text message. You need both hands to reply to the call, but you don’t want to put the whole slice of pizza in your mouth – especially with all that searing hot mozzarella. What ever will you do? The answer is simple…

Yes, with the pizza pocket t-shirt, you’ll be ready to carry a slice of your favorite ‘zza anytime, any place. Of course, your pocket will be soaked with tomato sauce and grease, but that’s okay. You can just save that for later. After all, pizza always tastes better the next day anyhow.

Do you want this shirt to-go?

The fashion domain has flourished and flourished so well. It’s silly to see how fashion logistics isn’t a thing. The Takeaway hanger-bag is a concept that extends good design beyond the limit of good-looking clothes. Designed in a very unique shape, the Takeaway is instantly memorable. You don’t confuse it for a plastic bag. You notice how different it is. The Takeaway opens up to accommodate newly purchased clothes. Once at home, slide the shirts over the Takeaway’s handle to use it as a hanger.

Now why hasn’t anyone lapped this idea up yet??

Designer: Orsan Berkay Tuluce and Buse Rodoplu.
