This gas-powered toaster, oven and stove will be your favorite companion in the kitchen and outdoor!

A combination of a toaster, oven and stove is in itself a multifunctional appliance you cannot do without in the kitchen. The downside of any traditional option is its dependence on electricity. Though, non-electric toaster and oven combos have struck their brilliance with the outdoorsy, the gas-powered Cook Nook presents an added advantage with a stove.

There is so much one can do with the non-electric toaster, stove and oven combo. It can be used for making toasts, roasting chicken, baking cake and even preparing a meal when electricity isn’t a luxury. So, when stepping into the wilderness, a portable and lightweight gas-operated toaster, oven, stove is the icing on the cake since it opens up possibilities for a great treat for a large family or friends gathering with the choice of pizzas, cookies, and other delicious.

With the combo appliance like the Cook Nook fueled by gas, you can save time and money while in the kitchen, in the backyard, or when hiking or camping in the outdoors. Such an appliance that does not require electricity is useful in everyday life and even in case of an emergency. In addition to cooking a fresh meal or a quick snack, this can even be used to bring frozen food to life. For its convenience and portability, the Cook Nook toaster, oven and stove will be a welcome product in the lives of the outdoorsy as it will solve the problem of finding an electric outlet for its needs.

In the kitchen, this multifunctional appliance will only occupy a small space and when it’s set for travel, it will pack up neatly and fit easily in the boot of your car. Interestingly, this yellow appliance comes with a CD player-style slide-out tray for toasts and baking and has a nice sturdy stove on the top. The stove has a sizable burner with pan support. The gas canister is placed on the right side with a compartment to hold an extra cartridge. The control knobs seem nice and easy to rotate, while the pan support can be removed and a lid can be applied on top to cover the unit when not in use.

The Cook Nook may not have the prowess to compete with the traditional options on the market, which are larger and more powerful in operation, but it surely makes for a decent option when portability and accessibility are on the mind!

This toaster lets you customize your slice of toast with personal messages or inspirational quotes

It takes ‘raising a toast’ to a completely new level.

Move over, Hallmark, this toaster has a pretty neat replacement for the traditional cake and card setup. Imagine this… It’s mother’s day and you’ve taken it upon yourself to make breakfast for your birthgiver. Pop in a slice of bread into the Home Party Hoaster and add a stencil with the pre-engraved message in. The toaster crisps up your bread while also reverse-etching a message into it. It’s a weirdly personal approach to just ‘buying a card’, right?

Designed by Seoul-based Min Soo Kim, the Home Part Hoaster is a conceptual toaster that lets you customize your bread with messages, images, emojis, and inspirational quotes. It does what a cake with icing cannot, and helps you begin your morning on a pretty positive note. The toaster works like any conventional bread-searing device, but comes with customized metal stencil plates that let you burn messages into your magical slice of yeast and flour.

The Home Party Hoaster comes with the proportions of a Vifa speaker, sporting a handle on top that lets you carry the appliance around. Two slots on the side let you slide slices of bread and the stencil plates in. You can set the toast’s crispiness using a touchscreen light panel on the front, and when the toast is done, it pops out, leaving the hot metal plate inside to cool before it can be removed.

I’m not entirely sure what the cultural significance of toast is in the east, although Min Soo Kim envisions this appliance as a nifty party-device, allowing people to share toasts with common messages on them. To me, the novelty of a toaster with a personalized message feature sounds like a great way to start the day. Begin your morning with inspirational quotes, uplifting messages, or just customize your toast with your name so nobody else steals it!

A bread-shaped pill box pops up from this toaster to playfully remind you to take care of yourself!

One of the little joys of life is a perfectly browned toast and you know that you will get a perfect one each time the 3 minute timer is up! Charles Strite invented the automatic toaster that saved so many slices from being burned to a crisp because it is the most human thing to forget – and we forget things all the time, right from drinking enough water to getting up from our desks. However, taking care of ourselves and having medicines on time is something we can’t forget so a team of designers came up with a simple yet genius idea of combining reminders to take our pills with a playful toaster.

This 2020 European Product Design (Design for Society/Design for Elders category) award-winning product is a pillbox that stores a week’s worth of medication divided into days and pops up when it is time to take your daily dose. The traditional pillboxes can make you feel self-conscious but if you have one shaped like bread, everyone around you is going to ‘loaf’ it and want one too – bread has the power to make everyone happy! This toaster works for everyone but was specially made keeping the elderly demographic in mind as they tend to be more forgetful. This playful pillbox and reminder device bring some familiar relief while helping people to take their medication on time. Keep in mind that the older generation may not be most comfortable with using smartphones to set reminders or may not recognize the difference between alarms/reminder tones but the toaster helps because they don’t have to learn how to operate something new. Also, if you miss a reminder on your phone it won’t ring again but the bread slice pillbox will remain popped up which is a second visual reminder to take your medication if you miss hearing it.

You have three slices of “bread” that contain a week’s worth of medication and pop up at regular times each day along with flashing lights and vibrations. The toaster’s form also appeals to the emotional needs of users and reduces the depression caused by long-term medication through its bright colors and familiarity. The Toaster Medicine Box was a 2020 European Product Design Award winner in the Design for Society/Design for Elders category.

Toast the bacteria off of your smartphones!

We all collectively want to roast this pandemic out of existence, it has truly turned us all into Monica Geller with the constant disinfecting and cleaning things. Our phones are actually dirtier than toilet seats and we obviously use it all the time, so considering the rise of the bacteria we should make sure to also sanitize our phones along with our groceries (what a time to be alive). Combining two of Monica Geller’s favorite things, cooking + cleaning, this neat toaster actually is a smart appliance that disinfects your phone.

This conceptual toaster was designed to make disinfecting your phones a little easier and, honestly, more fun! Instead of the usual wipe down, this turns the task into a small interaction with the product that leaves you with a nice feeling instead of “I have to wipe my phone 25 times a day because there is a pandemic”. It aims to make the interaction between products and people more playful. The toaster also charges your phone while disinfecting it which is a nice way to reduce your screen time, I mean your phone is being “toasted” so you can’t take it out till it’s done! While the concept is still being developed, I assume it uses UV light to disinfect and sanitize the phone while wirelessly charging it.

The physical form is that of a minimal, modern toaster – something we recognize and value. While we are on that topic, we could also have a panini press or grill that does the same job for tablets and laptops! It reminds me of how the fresh plates at a restaurant are always warm and that leaves you with a sense of them being clean. That is the very emotion I gather when I imagine using this smartphone toaster to disinfect and charge my phone. Food and technology are evidently my two favorite things and if they are disinfecting, then its a win-win in this crazy world!

This Toaster Prints Random Recipes

If you have a toaster sitting on your kitchen counter, there’s about a 99.999% chance that it toasts some kind of bread. But if you’re in the other 0.001%, your toaster prints recipes for other meals which may or may not include bread. The Recipe of the Day Toaster does just that.

Instructables contributor Sunyecz22 put together this fun kitchen appliance after he got his hands on an Adafruit mini thermal printer, and wanted to do a fun project using the gadget. Using a Raspberry Pi for its brains, he programmed the system to download random recipes from the internet. He then wrapped up the barebones printer and circuitry inside of a 3D-printed enclosure that looks just like a miniature toaster. With a push of its handle, the toaster gets to work printing out the name of a recipe, its cooking time, and a QR code for viewing the full recipe with his phone.

He wrote Python code to connect to the Spoonacular.com API, which provides links to recipes in their database of over 360,000 recipes. Of course he could have programmed it to print out the full recipe, but I guess that would use more paper. If you want to build your own recipe toaster, you can find the full instructions, 3D print files, and Python scripts over on Instructables.

That’s No Moon! That’s a Death Star Toaster!

There’s something immensely satisfying about housing one of the kitchen’s simplest tools inside a compact model of one of the most complex and diabolical weapons in the history of the sci-fi universe. This 2-slice Death Star toaster from Pangea Brands is a must-have for any fan of Star Wars and the most important meal of the day.

The bulbous killer space station toaster remains cool to the touch as it burns Tie Fighter silhouettes onto bread slices. Hungry for more power? Warm your waffles or bake your bagels with the mere push of a reheat or defrost button. When a Pop Tart pops up, is it too light? Use the manual thermostat control to command the officially licensed toaster to turn to the darker side.

Razer’s April Fool gaming-toaster prank got so much support, they’re building it for real!

Not sure what a gaming toaster is? You’re not the only one!

This is the BreadWinner. It started out as an April Fool’s Day prank for gaming-equipment behemoth Razer, but the amount of overwhelming support it got after the company launched this parody video sort of made Razer wonder if their die-hard fans would actually follow through. So yes, Razer is building this hardcore toaster-for-gamers. It comes with all the features you’d want from your toaster and some more. It sports the signature green backlight (or underlight in this case) found on post Razer products, and packs USB ports to charge your phones as you supercharge your day with some toasted bread. Moreover, the toaster even etches the Razer logo onto your bread. What more could a die-hard gaming fan possibly want? Multicolored butter? Yeah, the toaster doesn’t do that quite yet, but I’d give it a few years!

Star Wars R2-D2 Toaster: The Breads You’re Looking For

If you need a bit of droid with your breakfast, and who doesn’t really, get yourself this fun Star Wars R2-D2 Toaster. C-3PO is probably jealous, but let’s face it, Goldenrod just doesn’t have the same personality, and he’s generally pretty annoying.

This toaster burns an image of R2-D2 on every piece of bread inserted into it. No holograms of Princesses here, just tasty toast with an image on it. This officially-licensed Star Wars merchandise will toast waffles, toast, toaster pastries, and more. And you don’t need to go to a Jawa flea market to get it. Why would you ever go back to plain toast after experiencing R2 toast? How could you? You can’t. After all, Astromech droids are part of a well-balanced breakfast.

This bad boy has multiple heating settings like reheat, defrost, and quick stop. It also has a removable crumb tray and an adjustable thermostat. And naturally, it holds two slices of bread. Because R2 is versatile like that. Don’t miss out on this kitchen toaster from a galaxy far far away.

This is proof again that R2 is the king of droids. BB-8 just can’t compete. So let’s raise a toast to… R2-D2 toast.

Guy Builds a Gaming PC Inside of a Toaster

Plug this thing in, and all your games are toast, and so is your computer. For real.  created this toaster PC by stripping down a stainless steel four-slice toaster, installing a wooden block at the base and mounting the components to that.

It doesn’t make toast anymore, which is a shame, because when you are gaming, you probably want some toast for a snack. It runs an AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and an Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards. There are newer GPUs, but the 1080 Ti inside the toaster PC was the most powerful graphics card in the previous generation, and still able to keep up with the Nvidia RTX 2070. It’s still fast enough to run games in 4K resolution, as well as VR titles.

One of the slicker features of the build is the working toast lever, which acts as a power switch for the system:

The modder did a really great job with all of the details on this build, and it is amazing that he got all of those parts inside. People like to say that their computer is toast when it breaks down, but in this case, it really is and it happened during the build process. I love the look of this thing. Great job.
