Folding knives, even the tactical kind, are a dime a dozen these days, but that doesn’t mean they’re all equal in ability and design. Some look and feel like large weapons for battle, while others are small yet so flimsy that they can barely cut anything worthwhile. Striking the perfect balance between size, strength, ease of use, and aesthetics, is no easy feat, and yet Tekto manages to pull it off again and again, as proven by the F2 Bravo, a handsome tool whose simple beauty belies the cutting power that lies within.

Titanium Accents – With its custom pivot, machined clip, and milled spacer, the F2 Bravo exemplifies a premium, high-end feel that uniquely matches the look and feel of the knife.

Lightweight – The F2 Bravo weighs only 2.4oz (68g) and comes in two different handle materials best known for their lightness and extreme durability, Forged Carbon and G10.

It may have “tactical” in its name, but the Tekto F2 Bravo looks and feels more like a premium tool than a rugged knife. The handle, which comes in Forged Carbon or G10 variants, feels light yet solid, providing confidence in your grip, while titanium accents put it a level above your common folding knives. Recessed liners also give it a rather clean appearance, cementing its image as a high-end product that won’t look out of place in your carry.

Ceramic Ball Bearings – The state-of-the-art ceramic ball bearing mechanism allows the F2 Bravo to deploy the blade rapidly and smoothly with the utmost ease.

The Tekto F2 Bravo is more than just a pretty face, of course. The titanium-coated D2 steel blade offers sharp and precise cuts every time, while its black appearance gives it a more elegant character compared to the typical silver blades of other knives. More importantly, getting access to this powerful blade is quick and easy thanks to a state-of-the-art ceramic ball bearing mechanism that can deploy the blade swiftly and smoothly. And with a discreet liner lock with a strategically placed jimping, you always have a secure hold on the knife, regardless of the difficulty of the task at hand.

Why settle for bulky, unattractive, or ineffective folding knives when you can have the best of all worlds? With a smooth and swift deployment thanks to innovative ceramic ball bearings, and a handsome minimalist design, the Tekto F2 Bravo tactical folding knife is more than just a tool. It is also a timeless and well-thought-out design that would be a welcome addition to your EDC team.

This gorgeous kitchen knife makes you feel like a skilled samurai in the kitchen

It’s easy to take kitchen knives for granted until what should have been a swift cutting motion ends up in a mess of squished juices, uneven slices, and aching wrists. After all, you can easily buy a new knife, which is both wasteful and inefficient. On the flip side, most kitchen knives are designed simply for utility, and pretty ones that were made for show usually stop at that. Beautiful but useful kitchen knives are hard to come by, even more so if they’re long-lasting and durable. Fortunately, these seemingly mythical treasures do exist, like this eye-catching blade crafted by artisans for the kitchen, letting you cut, slice, and dice with precision and ease, not unlike the famed Japanese swordsmen of old.

Kitchen knives are a dime a dozen these days and most of them look too common and uninspiring. That’s especially true for mass-produced items that don’t even make the cut, pardon the pun, in being useful for a long period of time. It takes not just great skill but also great patience and attention to detail to produce a precision tool that is also a work of art, and who better to know how to do exactly that than the craftsmen in Japan who have a deep history with making swords for the legendary samurai.

Crafted with Damascus Steel – The blade boasts the mesmerizing pattern of a burning flame.

Unparalleled Comfort – The octagonal-shaped handle ensures a perfect fit.

Kurenai is the product of such storied tradition, craftsmanship built over the years, and modern aesthetics. Immediately at first glance, the knife sets itself apart from all other kitchen knives with the mesmerizing flame pattern running along its sharpened edge, a nod both to its flame-forged origin as well as the fiery passion that created it. And unlike any other knife in your culinary arsenal, Kurenai’s distinctive octagonal-shaped wooden handle fits in hand, regardless of the size.

This knife, enchanting as it may be, isn’t just for show. With a Damascus steel blade, Kurenai simply glides across meat, vegetables, and other ingredients, preserving their flavor and enhancing their texture. Carefully sharpening this blade according to the prescribed method reveals Kurenai’s impressive durability, letting you enjoy that smooth experience for years. This pure Japanese-made knife brings the elegance and the sharpness that professionals enjoy to anyone’s kitchen, turning almost anyone into a cutting and slicing pro.

Why suffer through dull blade after dull blade when you can have a single knife that will last you a lifetime. Made with 800 years of history and experience behind it, these distinctive flame-inspired blades bring craftsmanship and culinary passion together to deliver not just a tool but a work of art as well. Designed and made in the land of the samurai, the Kurenai kitchen knife lets you cut through your cooking tasks with the sharpness and elegance of a Japanese sword.

It takes diligent and creative design to strike a balance between size and performance, but it is not impossible. Take for example the CIVIVI folding pocket knife that can really clip inside your tight jeans’ pocket, combining function and style in a package that isn’t only easy to handle but also easy to buy.

There always comes a time when we need to cut through something and scissors just won’t cut it, pun totally intended. Knives are the better solution for cutting ropes, wood, and other materials, but the more powerful a knife is, the larger it usually is as well. That’s not even considering how some of these knives won’t pass certain security checks, making it a hassle to take them everywhere. Typical mini pocket knives do have the right size for portability but sacrifice not only performance but also comfort. That’s what makes the CIVIVI Mini Praxis a wonder to hold and behold, combining the best of both worlds without compromises.

At the heart of that feat is a 2.98-inch hard-use blade, ranging from 58 to 61 HRC on the hardness scale, which is not only in the perfect shape for cutting and slicking but also in the perfect size to meet most legal requirements. With a ceramic ball bearing, the blade unfolds and folds smoothly, making each flip feel satisfying each and every time. A liner lock also makes sure that the blade stays in place, keeping your hand and other EDC items out of harm’s way.

The CIVIVI Mini Praxis, however, isn’t just a sharp folding knife, it’s also an ergonomic one. A contoured G10 handle that scales over a stainless steel inner frame delivers an excellent grip, with recesses designed especially for your fingers. Jimping on the top of the blade also provides a place to rest your thumb to further enhance your hold for especially stubborn ropes or wood. And when the job is done, the built-in deep-carry pocket clip makes it super easy to slip the folded knife into your pocket and get going.

With choices of a satin-finished blade, a stonewashed blade, or a Damascus steel blade, and G10 or wooden handles, the CIVIVI Mini Praxis also exudes style in such a small package. Whether you’re out camping, trying to hook some fish, or just preparing for any eventuality, the sleek and handy CIVIVI Mini Praxis folding knife can easily fit in pockets and bags to deliver the sharpness and confidence you need to cut through any task, anytime, anywhere.

You’d be forgiven if you mistook the Tekto A2 Badger for a toy at first glance. Its small body is only 3.3 inches long when the blade is retracted and is still a short 5.26 inches when the Out-The-Front (OTF) blade is out. It only weighs 62g (2.18oz), and the way the blade swiftly ejects and retracts gives such a satisfying feeling that you might want to always have it in your hand. Make no mistake, this is no plaything, and it’s designed to be a powerful weapon against any and all outdoor or DIY troubles. Small but terrible definitely comes to mind, but in a very good way.

Compact & Lightweight – The A2 Badger is both easy to store and transport, making it a popular choice among outdoor enthusiasts and those with limited space.

The short 1.85-inch blade is not only made from durable and anti-corrosive Titanium-Coated D2 steel, it is also designed with an American Tanto edge. This sword-like design means there are two cutting planes, one horizontal and one vertical, at an angle, giving you more versatility than a single curved edge that most pocket knives use. It has a distinctive black matte coating, so you never get blinded by reflections. It also makes the blade look handsome, perfectly complimenting its equally distinctive handle. The size also makes it “California Legal” for those who need to take or use the A2 Badger there.

Oversized Lanyard Hole – The design accommodates larger cords and paracords. This enhances convenience and accessibility, especially in low-light conditions or when wearing gloves, making it an ideal tool for any situation.

Contoured Button – Its precisely contoured button allows for fast and effortless ejection and retraction of the blade.

That handle has grooves running across almost all of its body, delivering a better grip no matter how you hold the knife. The asymmetrical button isn’t just for show either, making it easier to eject and retract the blade thanks to its larger surface area and steeper slope for the finger to land on. The handle is made from 6061-T6 Aluminum, making it durable yet lightweight, perfect for taking it anywhere and being prepared for any situation.

Despite all that power, the Tekto A2 Badger is also designed for convenience. An oversized lanyard lets you attach it to almost anything, from cords to paracords to keyrings. The ambidextrous pocket clip can be mounted on either side to accommodate right-handed and left-handed people. There’s even a glass breaker for emergencies. A mini automatic knife that packs power and handsome good looks in a small size is the perfect partner for all your adventures and missions, and the Tekto A2 Badger can be yours with a sweet 15% discount off its standard $139.99 price for Yanko Design readers.

This handsome EDC knife unfolds smoothly and rapidly to serve your needs in an instant

There always comes a time when we wish we had something sharp on hand, especially when we’re out and away from our desks and toolboxes. Sometimes we need to cut a string or cord to open a package, or we want to slice a piece of fruit to share with a friend. Sometimes, we might even need a knife to carve out a chunk of wood outdoors. Pocket knives have become part of some EDC collections for that very reason, but while some can do the job, few can help you accomplish your task smoothly and quickly. Even fewer look as sharp as their blades, making them feel like tools you’d be embarrassed to be seen with. Fortunately, something like the Tekto F2 Bravo tactical knife exists, delivering not only a sharp tool that deploys quickly but also a stylish piece of equipment you’d be proud to flaunt.

Lightweight – The F2 Bravo weighs only 2.4oz (68g) and comes in two different handle materials best known for their lightness and extreme durability, Forged Carbon and G10.

Pocket knives are great for carrying around, whether in actual pockets or in bags. Their compact forms save a lot of space, but they also come with some drawbacks. Folding knives, in particular, can take a bit of time and effort to unfold, costing precious seconds in an emergency. Their bearings can also get rougher and more rigid over time, making it more difficult to deploy the blade.

Ceramic Ball Bearings – The state-of-the-art ceramic ball bearing mechanism allows the F2 Bravo to deploy the blade rapidly and smoothly with the utmost ease.

The Tekto F2 Bravo, in contrast, uses a state-of-the-art ceramic ball bearing mechanism that ensures smooth and speedy movement each and every time. This mechanism doesn’t degrade quickly or at all, so the knife will always be a pleasure to use. When you’re in a hurry to cut something, the last thing you need is to struggle with the very tool you’ll be using. And when you don’t need it, a discreet liner lock keeps the blade safely tucked away after closing it.

Titanium Accents – With its custom pivot, machined clip, and milled spacer, the F2 Bravo exemplifies a premium, high-end feel that uniquely matches the look and feel of the knife.

It’s almost impossible to believe how powerful the F2 Bravo is when you hold it in your hand because of its weight. That is thanks to the use of materials best known for their lightness and durability, specifically forged carbon and G10 steel, for the handle. The drop point blade is made of D2 steel, known for its long-term sharpness, while the pocket clip is made from highly durable titanium. All these speak to the knife’s strength and durability, but the F2 Bravo is more than just another sharp tool in your everyday carry.

With a machine clip, a custom pivot, and a milled spacer, the F2 Bravo exudes a premium quality you won’t easily find in many folding pocket knives. The crisp lines and intricate details also give it a character, not unlike a dapper secret agent that can cut their way through any problem in style and with a flourish. And it isn’t just all looks, though, because the recessed liners also provide an improved grip and comfort when you do need to get down and dirty with the task at hand. Why settle for a plain pocket knife when you can have a premium-looking and smooth-operating EDC blade with the Tekto F2 Bravo for only $139.99. And with the special Yanko15 code, you can even cut 15% off that price tag for an even more irresistible deal.

Feel like a ninja master in the kitchen with these black kitchen knives

When you’re cutting and slicing through ingredients for your next dish, what your knife looks like might be the least of your concerns as long as it’s sharp and effective. Expert (and not to mention well-funded) chefs might have their favorite set of knives that are almost always on display because of their looks, but most people probably don’t have access to such exquisite tools, mostly because most kitchen knives aren’t exactly designed to look elegant. It’s almost as if there was a dichotomy between function and design, and you only had to choose one or the other. That isn’t the case, of course, and these handsome kitchen knives prove that you can have a sharp cutting edge with sharp looks to go along with it.

Since kitchen knives always get stained and dirty, some people probably don’t care about how they look as long as they get the job done. That kind of mentality has been pervasive in many industries but is also slowly changing to become more conscious about design and aesthetics. With many tools for office and crafts becoming more visually appealing, it’s really only a matter of time before the humble kitchen knife gets its time in the spotlight.

NiNJA’s fashionable kitchen knives are definitely attention-grabbing, particularly because of their black blades. A color that has always been associated with looking smart and sophisticated, it gives the knives a simple yet effective upgrade when it comes to looking cool and modern. There is almost no other embellishment on the blade other than the discreet “i” logo, removing any potential distraction. Like a ninja hiding in the shadows or a secret agent in a black suit, these knives stealthily move in for the kill, cutting ingredients with precision and grace.

The dark knives aren’t just for show, of course. The blades are made of molybdenum vanadium steel, known for its highly durable sharpness, and is coated with titanium for increased wear resistance. The knives are made in Seki in Japan, a city steeped in Japanese sword crafting tradition and is one of the world’s knife manufacturers. Unlike mass-produced kitchen knives, however, each blade from this collection is made one by one by an experienced craftsman, delivering a higher level of quality than what you’d see and experience from dull-looking knives.

Whether you’re cutting meat with the Santoku, rock chopping with the Gyuto, or peeling vegetables with the Petty, these dark knives will allow you to slice through food prep like a master swordsman. And whether you’re still in the middle of your fancy hand movements or have finished cleaning up and setting aside your weapons, these stylish blades will definitely make you the center of attention and envy of others with sharp but boring cutting tools.

This guilt-free fiberglass cutlery set will let you dine in style anywhere

After more than a year of being stuck indoors, people have finally started meeting their urge to go out and enjoy the great outdoors. Some have even started working on their “revenge travel” plans. Whatever the reason or the distance, food is almost always involved, which often means dealing with utensils to eat them with. Cutlery has never been high on a lot of people’s priorities until they find themselves dealing with fragile plastic forks, bulky spoons, or deadweight knives. Carrying your own cutlery, even just for your meals at the office, can feel like a burden and a chore unless you get this handsome set that’s not only lightweight and easy to clean but also has an interesting sustainability story to tell.

Designer: Gary Lin

Click Here to Buy Now: $41.65 $49 (15% off). Hurry, sale ends May 3.

Utensils we carry around all the time are one of two kinds. There are the typical metal ones that can be a literal drag, weighing down our bags and taking up a lot of unnecessary space. On the opposite extreme is the typical plastic cutlery that weighs next to nothing and is also practically useless against tougher food. And despite their unassuming demeanor and clean, white surfaces, these are vicious killers of the planet like most plastics are.

Lightweight, toxin-free, and resistant to corrosion, making it the most ideal portable cutlery to help you go eco-friendly.

That is what sets the S+ Cutlery apart, offering the best of both worlds without the guilt. Taking advantage of Glass Fiber-Reinforced Polymers or GFRP, these utensils wrap lightness and durability in a reusable and recyclable package. And you won’t have to worry about that last part anytime soon anyway because these things are made to last a long time.

GFRP weighs about 6 times less than stainless steel and 3 times less than titanium.

GFRP is known for how light it is while still boasting mechanical strength, which means your knife and fork aren’t going to break on you just because that steak wasn’t cooked the way you liked it. As if that weren’t enough for portability, each of the members of this set can be split in half for even more compact storage. Thanks to medical-grade 316 stainless steel inside, it’s easy to screw and unscrew the parts but still maintains a firm connection so they won’t just suddenly split on you.

Free of n-Hexane / Cadmium / Mercury / Lead / PBBs / PBDEs / DBP / BBP / DEHP / DIBP, so you won’t be consuming toxic elements when enjoying your favorite meal.

Most travel utensils are also a headache when it comes to cleaning up. Of course, you’ll just throw plastic ones away, but that doesn’t mean they won’t ruin your dinner as it happens by soaking in too many sauces or oils from other foods. This cutlery, on the other hand, is resistant to odors, stains, heat (up to 110 °C or 230 °F), and acid or alkali. It’s the all-rounder tool you can use to poke, scoop up, or cut anything and everything you’d put in your mouth (that is edible, hopefully). Even better, it’s easy to wash, either by hand or inside a dishwasher.

This cutlery set includes anything and everything you need to enjoy your meal, including a fork, a spoon, a serrated-edge knife, and chopsticks. There’s even a chopsticks rest, so you don’t have to worry about where to place them when you’re not holding them in your hands. Of course, there’s an equally beautiful carrying case in matching color to safely stow your utensils after use. With this glass fiber-reinforced cutlery set, you’ll be able to focus on enjoying your meal using a handsome set of tools and feel good about doing your part in helping protect the environment, too.
