This 40-in-1 EDC multitool is the most versatile pocket toolkit you can own

Designed to house practically every standard tool conceivable, and plated with 18K gold, the ScrewDriverKing is literal jewelry for EDC collectors. It’s portable, pocket-friendly, and ridiculously efficient at letting you assemble, disassemble, repair, tear down, measure, and create.

The ScrewDriverKing™ comes on the back of the Distinct™ Ultra-Thin Multitool from the folks at Chiseled Design. With the Distinct, the makers ended up building not just a product, but a fan-base of enthusiasts who provided incredible amounts of positive feedback that pushed Chiseled Design to see how they could make their designs even better and more versatile. After years of research, drawing, reiterating, and even enduring the pandemic, the ScrewDriverKing was born. About the same size as a torch or flashlight, the ScrewDriverKing comes with as many as 27 screw bits docked into the channels of its all-metal design… along with a few other clever design details that let the ScrewDriverKing also function as a scale, a hex-wrench, sanding file, and even a bubble leveler.

Envisioned for tinkerers, the ScrewDriverKing packs the ultimate punch in a small size. It measures a little over 3.5 inches in length and weighs just 10.4 ounces. The EDC sports an ergonomic grip that makes high-torque twisting easy, as well as prying and opening. Each ScrewDriverKing comes with a set of 27 screw bits that fit right into the grip’s hollow spaces, and snap onto the rare-earth magnetic dock on one end of the handle.

The channels that hold the screw bits even have metric and imperial rulers etched onto them, allowing the ScrewDriverKing to function as a scale for measuring screws and other tiny parts and components. Other rather nifty features include 9 spoke wrenches, a bubble leveler, a pry tool, and even a knurled grip that works as a rough circular file for scraping and sanding down sharp edges on your projects.

Your screw-bits don’t even have to rest on the ground. They’ll always be in their dedicated housing.

File Tool – Can be used to smooth sharp edges for those of us looking for perfection.

Screw Eye Hook Tool – Pain-free thumbs, we’ve all been there in pain when installing these eye hook screws.

Box Cutter – Capable of opening your packages.

Circular Bubble Level – This allows you to center the position of the screwdriver.

Rulers – Implemented two rulers in both inches and metric.

The ScrewDriverKing, unlike its sleek, slim predecessor, was designed to be incredibly versatile while still being portable. It’s small enough to slip right into pockets, backpacks, and even your average toolkit, but proves to be more than valuable when needed. You could use it to fix electronics, remove batteries, tinker with appliances, do DIY home improvements, open boxes, and even fix your bicycle/motorcycle/electric skateboard (especially handy if you’re stuck outdoors). In fact, it even has a DT Swiss (T20) wrench for using on Tricon wheels. The ScrewDriverKing comes made from high-durability 17-4 PH stainless steel, rated for all sorts of tough tasks, and even sports a real 18-carat gold plating to give your all-powerful EDC some pizzazz and glamor!

NinDoio is a fun-looking device for leveling up your productivity game

Every year, more people have to sit in front of computers for work or sometimes even for leisure. While some jobs might be simple enough to get by with the basics of word processing or spreadsheets, a lot require more complex processes and multiple steps, not to mention the use of a variety of software to get the job. That’s even more true for those involved in digital content creation, whether they be designers, programmers, writers, or even streamers. The number of actions they need to take can be overwhelming, especially when you have to navigate around the computer screen to get to those. It would definitely be a great deal if you could press just one or a few keys to get things done, which is what this device tries to do in a way that almost makes it feel like you’re playing a game.

Designer: Megalodon

There are about a hundred keys on a computer keyboard, more or less depending on the layout and the device. That gives you a variety of ways and nearly endless possible combinations to trigger actions like launching an application, undoing an edit, or rendering an animation. That flexibility, however, also comes at the cost of complexity, especially when it comes to remembering which key combinations do which actions on which applications. There are a variety of tools today that try to simplify that task, but Megalodon’s NinDoio adds an element of fun to what is really serious business.

What makes the NinDoio different from many “macro pads,” as they are called, is that it looks more like a toy rather than a productivity tool. In fact, it looks very much like a Nintendo Game Boy Advance, which is definitely the inspiration for its design as well as its moniker. Regardless of the name and shape, it still delivers the same power as any macro pad does, which is to map a single button or key to an action. For example, you won’t have to memorize the combination for “undo” when you can just press a single button that you’ve committed to muscle memory.

Unlike a simple grid of keys, the NinDoio adds a few controls you’d associate with gaming devices and controllers. Four of the buttons, for example, are arranged in a cross like a D-pad, while two are labeled Start and Select, even if they can be assigned to unrelated actions. The two knobs on the right can be mapped to actions like scrolling a page or changing the size of a brush. They can also be pushed like regular buttons, though, which adds another layer of functionality to them.

The very appearance of the macro pad is playful, with a translucent acrylic base that lets you take a peek at the electronics inside. Different color options for the aluminum top are available to add a bit of life to an already quirky device. Overall, the NinDoio’s appearance makes it a bit more approachable and a little less clinical, even if it performs the same functions as any of Megalodon’s other macro pads, which might just be what the doctor prescribed to make tedious work feel a bit more enjoyable like a game.

This camping chair doubles as a carrying tool inspired by a traditional Korean jigae

Single-purpose products have a particular appeal to them. They’re simple to use because they only have a single functionality, so there’s little to no room for misunderstandings or mistakes. These kinds of things can often afford to have more elaborate designs because designers can focus on things other than functionality that is inherently simple and fixed. At the same time, however, these products can also be a waste of space and material, especially when they can do a little more than what they’re designed for. Of course, these different functions still need to present a coherent theme, like this chair and carrying tool that is useful for outdoor activities, whether you’re sitting on it or not.

Designers: Sangeun Park, Minseo Kang, Junsang Park, Do hoon Kim

Given how outdoor activities have become trendy these days, it’s no surprise that there has also been a rise in interest surrounding outdoor equipment. From lamps to tools to grills to even portable power generators, more and more people have started to look into products that they can take with them for a road trip or weekend camping. When you’re packing for a trip or an outdoor activity, you often have even less space than you would at home. In cases like these, multi-functional products that save space and time are preferred, and a chair that does something when not in use is probably going to be a hot item for regular campers.

When it’s completely unfolded, the Chair – A looks like a typical foldable camping chair. It’s not going to be the most comfortable, of course, with a fabric seat and an absence of a backrest, but that’s to be expected from space-saving chairs like these. Unfortunately, even such a chair would become extra luggage you have to carry around since it won’t have any purpose when it’s folded up. This particular design concept, however, is anything but useless, and it can actually become a tool that helps you carry your luggage instead.

The Chair – A can be “half folded” into a form that almost resembles a “jigae” or a traditional Korean carrying tool. It is practically a frame that lets you load more things on your back without having to cram them into your backpack or have them dangling precariously from bags. This kind of tool has been used to easily transport loads of firewood, and its design hasn’t really changed at all in the past centuries. This chair, however, applies an A-frame design that makes the carrier look a bit more aesthetic while also providing more stability.

Of course, you shouldn’t be carrying more load than your back can support, but the Chair – A’s design, particularly its arms, does help shift the weight a bit to prevent strain and injury. And when you’re really done camping and carrying, it still folds completely flat so that it can be conveniently stored in cramped spaces. It’s not exactly a revolutionary design, and it even borrows ideas from tools that have existed for a long, long time. Still, even that slight change gives a camping chair another purpose even when you’re not sitting on it.

The screwdriver to rule them all comes in a shockingly compact body

Life would be so much simpler if we all followed certain standards like paper sizes, date formats, or screw head shapes. While a good majority of furniture and electronics do use a small subset of screws available in the world, you never know when you’ll actually come across one that your two or three screwdrivers can’t handle. There are, of course, a variety of screwdriver sets or universal tools with interchangeable bits to cover almost all those, but all of them take up precious space in your toolbox or bag. You can only do so much to get a true universal screwdriver you can easily carry even inside your pocket without compromising on quality. You might be shocked, then, to see this multi-functional screwdriver that can fit in the palm of your hand, proving its right to be called the ScrewDriverKing™.

Designer: Chiseled Design

The problem with screws is that there are just too many kinds that require not only different bits but sometimes even different lengths of screwdrivers. You might assume that everything can be handled by a conventional screwdriver with a long shank, but there are times when you need to get even closer for more precise movement. This kind of variety and having too many variables is what makes it difficult to have a single tool that handles them all in a truly portable package.

Just like a powerful monarch, that is no problem for the ScrewDriverKing, which manages to solve that and more using the most ingenious design possible. Yes, it still has all the heads you’ll need to cover any kind of screw out there, and, yes, it still has a long double-ended hex socket (1/4″ & 5/16″) when you need it. The difference is that all of these tools are crammed into a compact body that is barely 4 inches in length, small enough to fit in your hand or keep in your pocket. You no longer have to worry about carrying a pouch or box with you all the time.

The secret to this seemingly impossible feat isn’t just the modularity of the ScrewDriverKing, but also in how all the bits and pieces fit inside the handle. Flip the shank around, and it stores inside the driver’s hollow body. All the screw bits, on the other hand, slide into the driver’s handle. The handle is ergonomically designed with a seamless anti-slip comfort that enables you to adeptly use all of the screw-bits as grip leverage. It facilitates an air circulation process through the tool grooves, allowing the air to pass through on both ends and keeping both the tool and hand dry for a long period of time. Everything you need is in one place, so you don’t have to worry about leaving some bits behind.

File Tool – Can be used to smooth sharp edges for those of us looking for perfection.

Box Cutter – Capable of opening your packages.

Circular Bubble Level – This allows you to center the position of the screwdriver.

Rulers – Implemented two rulers in both inches and metric.

The tool, however, isn’t just the King of all screwdrivers. It’s also the king of multi-tools. Despite its small size, it actually has multiple functions, including a filing tool on the double-ended hex socket that can hold both 1/4″ and 5/16″ screws bits, rulers in both imperial & metric units, and 27 different size screw-bits that’ll adapt to any project you might have. There is even a magnetic cap that serves as a bubble leveler that can precisely measure both horizontal and vertical surfaces. As a bonus, that cap has 9 different sizes of spoke-wrench, including a DT Swiss Tricon wheel (T20). Even with all these powerful features, the ScrewDriverKing is also carefully designed to be safe around children. The bits will not come off easily thanks to a magnetic slide-lock design, but adults can open it without trouble using a thumbs-up gesture.

The ScrewDriverKing is almost like a puzzle where every part has some function to be discovered. The parts can be used as storage but also as a standalone tool. True to its moniker, the tool’s gold color gives it a sense of royalty, and it’s complemented by that multi-functional cap that’s shaped like a crown. Given the royal treatment you’d be getting, the $89 Super Early Bird price tag definitely feels like it was made with commoners in mind. With this 40+ Tools-in-one screwdriver, you’ll definitely feel like the king of everyday repairs and everything else where there’s a loose screw waiting to be conquered.

This smart motion-controlled electric screwdriver takes all the elbow grease out of your DIY projects

Following the success of its previous counterparts (the SES Pro, SES, and the SES Mini), the Arrowmax team is back with the latest version of their electric screwdriver, the SES Max. With the same award-winning design but an upgraded chipset and motor that gives it higher torque and longer battery life, the SES Max is possibly the most advanced screwdriver you can own. It also now comes with 70 different bits and a MagSafe-inspired magnetic charger while retaining all of the SES Pro’s most loved features.

Designers: Yin Liu, Shi Teng Yuan & Chun Hiu Tseung of Arrowmax

Click Here to Buy Now: $49 $89 (45% off). Hurry, less than 48 hours to go!

Designed to make DIY projects a whole lot easier, the SES Max is a state-of-the-art electric screwdriver that can automatically sense direction and torque so all you really need to do is hold the screwdriver while it does all the work. The SES Max sports 5 torque settings including an automatic setting where the screwdriver determines the torque requirements on its own, and has an SMC feature (smart motion control) where the screwdriver automatically picks up on which direction it needs to spin in just with a simple twist of your wrist. You can alternate between clockwise and anti-clockwise motions just by gently adjusting your wrist and the SES Max intuitively handles the rest. Just like its predecessors, the SES Max sports a screen on the side of the screwdriver body (now with a larger battery indicator), and comes with 4 shadowless lights right near the rotating bit so you can see what you’re working on in the dark too.

Smart Motions – The motor will automatically power the torque up to 4.0 kgf.cm (max) depending on the angle of hand rotation.

Magnetic Charging Stand – Charge it directly through magnetic, or you may choose to charge it inside the box.

While previous iterations of the SES could only go up to 2.0kgf of torque, the SES Max maxes out at 4.0kgf, doubling its predecessor. It also spins at an increased 250RPM thanks to a bigger 500mAh battery that lets you use the SES Max over 900 pieces of screws on a single full charge. The charging apparatus gets a massive upgrade too, with a proprietary magnetic charging connector that allows you to snap the charging cable onto the SES Max or have it dock in its charging station. There’s also a USB-C port on the side, just in case.

CNC Machined Aluminium Box

70 Types of Magnetized S2 Steel Tips

SES Power Tip Extension

Living up to its name, the SES Max ships with 70 different bits and even two extension tips. All the bits attach to the SES Max using a magnetic system, and the Max’s case comes with a magnetizer that lets you re-magnetize bits if they ever lose their magnetic action. The SES Max is even Bluetooth-equipped and comes with an app that lets you control it via your phone (just in case that’s a feature that may appeal to you). You can get the SES Max in either anodized aluminum or matte black finishes, with the kit starting at $89. However, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, Arrowmax is even debuting the SES Ultra, a $59 version of the SES Max without the Bluetooth feature and the Smart Motion Control system. Instead, the SES Ultra comes with L and R buttons on its body that let you toggle clockwise and anticlockwise actions. Both the SES Ultra and the SES Max ship globally with a 1-year warranty.

This innovative 6-in-1 device takes the pain out of measuring anything you need to size up

They often say you should measure twice and cut once, but this handy gizmo helps make sure you don’t have to do it over and over again.

Everyone needs to measure something at one point in their lives or another. More often than not, we have multiple tools to do the same thing in different contexts. A ruler is fine for paper and straight lines, but you need a protractor to measure angles. For larger scales like rooms, you’ll most likely reach for a traditional tape measure, but you will have to switch to a level to make sure a frame isn’t titled. If your job or hobby depends on a lot of measuring, that already means at least four tools in your arsenal and juggling between them as needed. With the technologies that we have today, you don’t really need to, and this device combines not four but six tools in one and in a convenient handheld size to boot!

Designer: Tiancheng Liang of HOZO Design

It is easy to take for granted the number and types of tools we need to measure things until it’s time to plan a house or study a product’s design. Making floor plans is even more cumbersome because you have to translate figures into some visual representation like diagrams or even 3D models. What if there was a single tool that covered almost all your measuring needs and could even draw those blueprints for you? That is exactly what the 2021 Good Design Award winner MEAZOR 3D brings to the table, and in a very impressive way.

Right off the bat, the laser-powered MEAZOR 3D replaces six measuring tools with a single device. Its point scanning function makes short work of creating floor plans, while the laser measure can give precise figures for objects up to 131ft or 40m away. It can scan curved objects without batting an eyelash, and it can also roll over both straight and curved surfaces to measure their dimension. An accelerometer lets the MEAZOR 3D replace your protractor as well as your liquid-filled spirit level in a flash. That’s six functions in a device that fits in the palm of your hand, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

Point Scanner – Capture all reference points and instantly draw a 3D floorplan.

Laser Measure – The precise laser gives reliable measurements up to 131ft/40m.

Curve Scanner – Capture the outlines of curved objects with an accountable scan.

Scale/Rolling – Straight lines to curves, 4 Built-in Modes with 57 Scales.

Protractor – Position your angles in 360 degrees with accurate readings.

Level – Find out whether the surface is horizontal or vertical.

The MEAZOR 3D comes with a patented Ultra 3D adapter that makes creating floor plans a breeze by letting the device scan the room in all 360 degrees. The device is even smart enough to know where it is so that moving it to another room doesn’t require you to recalibrate it each and every time. This means that making a floor plan of the entire house is as easy as picking up the MEAZOR 3D and its stand and placing it in every single room. Even better, the MEAZOR APP 2.0 can easily convert those measurements into 2D drawings or even 3D models with a single tap.

Measuring rooms, floors, and objects needs precision, but that doesn’t mean you have to bend over backward just to get accurate figures. With creative and innovative use of technology, the MEAZOR 3D makes the work easier and gives correct and more consistent results compared to analog tools and sometimes inaccurate human judgment. For something that replaces six tools, the $249 Kickstarter Special price sounds like a steal. Fortunately, the MEAZOR 3D is the real deal and definitely measures up to expectations.

Wondlet graphics tablet concept is a design tool that actually looks the part

Anyone who has ever dabbled or worked with digital graphics will have come across the wonder known as a graphics tablet. Whether with a screen or an opaque surface, it is an indispensable creation tool that has saved many a wrist from irreparable injury. There was a time when Wacom was the only name in this biz, but new brands have come up to challenge the champion in features as well as in price. Despite the growth of that market, however, the design of graphics or drawing tablets seem to have been frozen in the past, set in stone by some unknown convention that dictated everything had to be black, boring, and, to be blunt, unappealing. It is a rather ironic state of affairs, but someone finally thought of designing a designer’s tool that looks like it was actually designed by a designer.

Designer: Bous Studio, Studio Alpeto

They say that the best tools are the ones that disappear, which is to say that they don’t get in your way by being in your face. The traditional design of graphics tablets seems to adhere to that philosophy by being nondescript and plain, but it actually gets in the way in some other sense. Most of them are designed to be ergonomic, that is true (though there are definitely some exceptions), but they also seem to be uninspired and downright banal as well. For designers that take great pride in how beautiful their pens and stationery look, it’s disappointing that a keyboard and mouse would look more attractive and better designed than a tool specifically aimed at artists, designers, and creators.

The Wondlet concept breaks out of the mold to present a graphics tablet that designers and artists would be proud to flaunt on their desks. Save for a few parts, the concept doesn’t seem to diverge too far from the typical materials used in graphics tablets. It will most likely still be made mostly from plastic, save for what looks like an aluminum knob, but it adds some splash of color and adds interesting shapes that would better appeal to a designer’s sense of aesthetics.

It doesn’t change any existing functionality or even add to them. Save for the dial, which still isn’t a staple in drawing tablets, everything is still there, including the buttons that can be mapped to shortcuts on the computer. Those buttons are flatter than traditional tablet designs, but they’re not completely flushed either, leaving room for haptic feedback and muscle memory.

The stylus looks different, though, and could prove to be the most divisive part of this design concept. That said, the faceted barrel design for a traditional pen isn’t exactly unfamiliar, and the second-gen Apple Pencil introduced that shape to many digital artists today. The absence of physical buttons on the pen, however, has always been controversial, but it might not actually be a critical deviation from the Wondlet’s design if it had one.

The design doesn’t explicitly say it, but it seems that the control panel, which also serves as a nest for the stylus, can be mixed and matched between different colors. In fact, it could very well be movable, which is critical for supporting left-handed people. One can only hope that Wacom or some other graphics tablet maker would create something like the Wondlet, offering a designer tool that designers could be proud of.

This travel cutting board with a built-in knife cuts out the stress of food prep on the go

We love good food, and we love to travel but why are there so many tools for making food on the go that are inconvenient, difficult to use, and of such cheap quality. You can either get portable camping cooking tools that are compact but don’t last and suck to actually cook with, or you have to lug around a full-size cutting board, while safely carrying a chef’s knife while on the go. When adventuring and traveling, you want to have the best gear possible while still being easy and convenient to travel with. It would be great if you could safely tie a chef’s knife and a high-quality cutting board together, without it being hard to carry, awkward to use and a pain to maintain. AK Studios have elegantly solved this problem with their new high-quality tool for food prep on the go The BACA Board. Standing for Bring Anywhere and Cut Anything, The BACA Board shows how out-of-the-box thinking and acute attention to detail can go a long way in cutting through the problem of a sub-par cooking experience.

Designer: AK Studios Design

Click Here to Buy Now: $100 $149 (33% off). Hurry, less than 72 hours left!

In effect, the BACA Board acts as a knife holder like the ones you might have in the kitchen, except it’s portable and easy to carry around. The knife slots perfectly into the side of the board, and a strong magnetic retention system makes sure that the razor-sharp 440c stainless steel knife stays put and safe inside, no matter how much the board shakes and jiggles, whether it’s in your bag, on the boat or in the RV.

The cutting board itself is a work of engineering and art despite its unassuming appearance. Made from a staggered grain hard maple wood butcher block, the board is specially manufactured to resist warping and cracking. Its perfectly portable size makes it easy to stash quickly inside any bag or compartment, while its minimalist design will make you proud to have it hanging for everyone to see. This product would be a great fit for van life, boating, wilderness camping, or just those looking to enjoy a picnic or equip their city apartment kitchen.

Magnetic Retention System – Secures the knife in the board until you’re ready to use it.

440c Stainless Steel – The knife is honed to a razor-sharp edge.

Drainage Channel – This allows for deep cleaning and proper drying.

Juice Groove – Keep the juices where you want them and your work surface clear and clean.

Bottle Opener – Perfectly sized to pop tops.

The BACA Board’s story doesn’t end there, though, and it’s the little details that really make this cooking tool shine. For example, the groove near the edges of the board isn’t just a random design detail but actually functions as a canal for juices to drain out of and keep your work area clean. There’s also a drainage channel that makes cleaning and maintaining both the board and knife easy and painless. The knife itself also has a secret talent in the form of a bottle opener on the dull edge, removing the need to have another tool you might forget at home.

From the simple design choices to the high quality of the manufacturing, the attention even to the smallest detail makes The BACA Board the sharpest knife in the drawer. Or rather the sharpest drawer for the sharpest knife. AK Studios has a focus on making high-quality products that last. That perfectionism even extends to the maintenance kit, which includes a dual-sided diamond sharpening plate, a 100% heavyweight cotton maintenance cloth, a 2oz amber glass bottle of food-safe mineral oil for re-oiling the board on the go, and even some black paracord for hanging your board if you so choose. The BACA Board come with everything you need for a worry-free outdoor cooking experience as well as the tools to keep the board and knife in top shape. The preorder pricing of $120 is a steal given the quality of these tools, which have a retail price of $150.00. Life is too short to deal with and is an adventurous journey, and it always helps to have top-quality tools that you’ll be able to enjoy for the full trip. Buy once. cry once. Cooking on the go doesn’t have to be a disaster when you have the right tools for the job, especially with The BACA travel cutting board and its built-in razor-sharp knife.

That way, you can drink hands-free and don’t have to take a break to drink; just suck on the straw! Unfortunately, if the quality of my repair jobs is any indication, this is probably not a great idea and might explain why I keep finding my beer helmet hidden in the bottom of the kitchen trash.

Dotti cleaning tools use inspired designs to make cleaning feel less like a chore

Cleaning might sound like a drag, but there’s no reason your cleaning tools have to be as well.

As if the chore of cleaning up, even after yourself, wasn’t already an uninspiring idea, the thought of using tools designed more for mass-production than actual cleaning doesn’t help lighten the load either. Sure, you could think of expensive designer products that look beautiful or interesting, but what are the chances that you’d actually use them without feeling guilty for having sullied their immaculate surfaces. Good product design doesn’t mean something has to be artistic or lavish, just that they actually get the job done in the best way possible, all while looking good, too. That’s pretty much what these cleaning tools promise, improving your cleaning mood and efficiency by looking good and cleaning well.

In addition to their beautiful minimalist designs, they also come in different color options to match your home, your kitchen, or your style. These are definitely tools you’ll want to keep around for as long as you possibly can, so it’s a good thing that you actually can.
